The little girl grinned at him again, making Qi Siling find her even cuter. Why didn't he have a sister like this? The children in the yard were naughty, some climbing up the roof and tearing off the tiles, while the well-behaved ones were humble and cowardly. None of them were as lively as her, making him want to get closer.
"Okay, no more touching. Should I take you to the Forbidden City today? Or do you want to climb the Great Wall?"
"You should deal with my brother first." It's a bit early to say this.
Cao An finally finished eating and waved for her to come over. Xia Youyou ignored him and stood up and ran over.
"Don't run, the ground is slippery!" Cao An was always worried that she would lose her balance and fall flat on her face, which would be ugly.
Xia Youyou sat back down, wanting to say something but not daring to. She looked back at Qi Siling with an embarrassed look on her face. It was all his fault for tempting her to go out and play. Now, the thought of going out to play made her unable to hold back.

"No!" How could he let her go with Qi Siling, who was practically a stranger? Forget it!
Xia Youyou drooped her ears like a puppy. She knew it!
"Brother Cao, it's not necessarily safe for you to leave her alone in the guesthouse. We've known each other for so long, can't you trust me?"
Cao An really didn't believe him. It was obvious that he had no good intentions.
"Don't worry, I'm just taking her to Beijing for a tour. I promise to bring her back on time." He looked at the strange man in police uniform and took out his ID card and letter of introduction. "This is a letter of introduction from my unit, and my ID card."
Huang Run took it, looked at it, and confirmed it was genuine, nodding to Cao An. "There's no problem with my identity, and what he said is correct. You're definitely worried about leaving my sister alone in the guesthouse, so why not ask him to help take care of her?"
Xia Youyou lowered her head, listening to the others discuss whether she should stay or go. She felt torn. She wanted to go but was afraid Cao An would disagree. If he agreed, she was afraid Qi Siling might be a bad person! She was like a contradiction now, waiting for others to help her decide which side to choose.
Cao An looked at the little girl who lowered her head and finally nodded. "Go ahead. Promise to bring it back before dinner!" He glared at Qi Siling with fierce eyes.

Hearing that her brother finally agreed, Xia Youyou looked up at Cao An with shining eyes. "Brother~"
"Don't act like a spoiled child!" He shook the muscles that had become limp due to her shouting, "Promise you won't run around! Don't touch anything you see! It's dirty, do you know?" He had obsessive-compulsive disorder and mild mysophobia, and didn't like touching things outside.

Qi Siling took the ID card and letter of introduction that Huang Run had returned and watched the interaction between the brother and sister with amusement. "Let's go now? Do you want to go back to the guesthouse to get your things?"
Cao An thought about it and realized that she had put all her things in the space. In order to avoid being exposed, she decided to go back to her room.

Huang Run settled the bill and went back to the guesthouse with a few others. He was also responsible for sending Cao An to the Grain Bureau.
Qi Siling greeted Xiao Hai and signaled him to go back first, saying that she would leave later. Then she left with Cao An and his group, leaving Xiao Hai and Xiao Meili staring at each other.

Xia Youyou was completely blocked, which made her admire Cao An's physique once again! Xia Youyou put on her backpack, hung the water bottle on her shoulder, and reached out to his arm playfully. Unexpectedly, Cao An had already discovered her prank and grabbed her with his big hand.

"I know, I know!" Mom is more nagging than him.
She shook her head helplessly. He was like an old mother, worrying about her endlessly!
"Don't go to remote places with him. If anything goes wrong, use the stun gun on him!" It was because she had her own space that he could let her go out to play with Qi Siling, whom she was not familiar with.
Xia Youyou nodded in agreement no matter what he said, causing Cao An to ruffle her hair and ask, "Are you listening or not?"

Cao An accepted his fate and helped her comb her hair back into place. He stopped nagging her and took her out, instructing Qi Siling again.
"Remember what you promised."
Huang Run couldn't stand him any more! "You're such a big, strong man, why are you so fussy?" He had been the one chattering non-stop when the two of them were in the room, and now he was threatening them when he came out.
"If your daughter was taken out alone, would you be anxious?"
Huang Run was speechless. It seemed to make sense! "But aren't you her brother?" He wasn't her father!

Xia Youyou finally left with Qi Siling. Cao An looked at the two figures, one tall and one short, with a feeling of loss, as if he were marrying off his daughter. Bah, bah, bah, that's impossible!
Xia Youyou, with her back turned, felt a bit reluctant to leave. Her brother was worried about her, and she was a bit scared. She was no longer as fearless as when she first came here, able to go all the way to Bao City alone. After being raised as a spoiled child, she was really a bit hesitant to go out with others. Especially after the misunderstanding that Qi Siling was going to kidnap her, she now unconsciously put herself in his shoes.
"You won't really sell me out, will you?" She spoke carefully, afraid of angering him.
Qi Siling almost laughed out of anger, "Is this how I am in your eyes?"
She lowered her head awkwardly and scratched her forehead. "Isn't this the first time I've gone out with someone other than my brother?" She blamed herself for being too dependent on Cao An. He was always there to accompany her to and from work, so suddenly going out with someone else was really hard for her.
"There's no turning back now."
Xia Youyou didn't understand what he meant. Qi Siling gestured for her to look behind her, and she turned around in confusion.
Where was this? The completely unfamiliar streets made her panic. They had only been walking for a few minutes, why did the surroundings suddenly become so unfamiliar?
She wanted to run, but Qi Siling grabbed her wrist.
"I'm just kidding! Don't worry, I really won't sell you out! Since you call me Brother Qi, just treat me like your brother. I won't do anything to you!"
Seeing that she was still on guard, there was nothing he could do. He regretted teasing her earlier. "Now, tell me, where do you want to go?"
