Chapter 219: Joining forces with Auntie to arrest people

Xia Youyou walked out of the antique street with a happy face, holding a few things she had received from Wang Li.

Just as she was about to turn into a dead end alley and find a deserted spot to put her things into her space, she suddenly sensed some movement behind her. She felt a chill in her heart, paused, and turned her head to check with her peripheral vision.

A piece of clothing scraped past the corner of the wall, and she curled her lips into a strange arc.

I've been cared for for too long and I almost became careless.

She avoided the dead end and quickly headed for a more crowded area. Although she had the ability to deal with it, she didn't dare to take the risk, especially when there was no one around.

She put things into her bag as she walked. To make it more bulgy, she put the antiques into the space and swapped out a few pieces of lead. The bag suddenly felt heavy, so she swapped for a smaller piece, slowed down her pace, and breathed a sigh of relief.

It seems that if you want to cheat others, you should do it within your means!

She wore a black cloth dress on purpose today. After slowing down her pace, she looked around slowly to determine the location of the person behind her.

Turning back inadvertently, she met that person's eyes. Xia Youyou remained expressionless, pretending to know nothing, and calmly looked away.

Once you see the person clearly, you will understand how that person is catching up with you.

When she gave Wang Li the money before, the person behind her was right beside her and knew that she took the money from her bag.

It seems that this person specifically lurks in the Antique Street, waiting for others to show off their wealth, and then robs them once they leave this area.

Humph, don't you see who I am? I actually robbed her! If I don't teach her a lesson, everyone will think I'm easy to bully!

After understanding the situation, he turned around and entered an alley. Unlike the previous dead end, there were many people here. Usually, some old men and women would play chess and chat in front of the locust tree at the door.

I had just finished lunch. The autumn breeze was cool, and the sun wasn't as scorching as it had been a while ago. Beneath a century-old locust tree stood a stone table, where a group of elderly men were playing chess and eating sunflower seeds.

Xia Youyou walked over there happily, and took out some melon seeds from her bag. She walked up to a group of aunts and called out sweetly, "Hello, aunties."

"Hey, whose girl is this? How come she is so pretty? Are you back from school?" When the aunties saw her carrying a shoulder bag and looking so childish, they thought she was a little girl who was still in school.

Xia Youyou shared some of the melon seeds in her hand with them, "Aunties, eat some melon seeds." After a while of refusing them, she finally let them accept her offer. Then she said, "I'm not from your alley. I just went to the back and walked around. I ran into trouble, so I wanted to take shelter here."

She still had a smile on her face and moved her body slightly, revealing the person following behind her to them.

"I found someone following me and I was a little scared, so I thought of going to a crowded place to see if he would leave."

She didn't look scared when she said this, but she couldn't stop the aunties from imagining things. After hearing what she said, the aunties started to talk about how someone's child had been kidnapped by a kidnapper, and someone else's wife had been deceived.

Everyone was filled with righteous indignation and expressed their willingness to protect her. They squeezed together to make room for Xia Youyou and pulled her to sit down.

Xia Youyou was so well-behaved that she grabbed another handful of melon seeds and sat down with them to eat them. She looked at the man provocatively.

The man was tall, but not overly burly. He didn't look threatening, but his face was different.

It was a very ordinary square face, looking harmless.

But Xia Youyou knew that the more harmless a person looked, the more vicious he would be when doing bad things.

She leaned over to the aunt on her right and whispered a few words to her. Then she stood up and continued walking into the alley.

His steps were not as hurried as when he came, more like a stroll after dinner.

I listened carefully to the noise behind me and confirmed that the man was really following me.

When the man was about to pounce, Xia Youyou quickly turned around, avoided his movement, and kicked him in the side of the waist.

"What are you doing!" She moved to the side of the fork to avoid the man's counterattack.

The man realized something was wrong and ignored the pain in his side. He straightened the rope and pounced on her again.

"Aunties, save me!" Xia Youyou shouted behind him, causing him to look back in shock. Then she took out a stick and hit the man hard on the back of the head.

The aunties filed in from the alleyway they came from, pushed the man who was hit by Xia Youyou with a stick to the ground, snatched the rope from his hands and tied him up behind his back.

The man felt a pain in the back of his head, caught off guard by being pinned down. He was about to get up, pricked by the needles. Unexpectedly, the aunties showed incredible fighting power. Several hands pinched, pounded, and hit him, even grabbing handfuls of his greasy hair...

Seeing that the man was tied up and had no power to fight back, Xia Youyou clapped her hands and threw the stick aside.

"Thank you, aunts."

"Don't be afraid, girl. We aunties will help you send the person to the police station." She quickly picked the person up from the ground. The strength of the aunt should not be underestimated.

The man couldn't struggle free and started begging for mercy, "Aunts, don't catch me. This is my sister. She's just playing a joke on me."

The aunt who had just whispered to Xia Youyou sneered at him: "Bullshit, do you think we are blind? That girl is so pretty, how could she have a brother as rude as you?"

Xia Youyou chuckled. This robber probably never dreamed that he would be arrested just because of his ugly appearance!

The aunties also laughed, and the sound spread out of the alley, attracting the attention of some people on the street.

It even attracted the attention of two police officers who were patrolling this way!

When the man was escorted out of the alley, two police officers came forward to inquire about the situation.

The aunties chattered and talked about what happened, and the police frowned as they listened.

Finally, Xia Youyou stepped forward and said, "Comrade Public Security, this is what happened." She briefly described the situation in the alley and explained that this man was the one who had followed her into the alley. "The rope that tied him up is still his. The aunts helped me!"

The two police officers then realized that this man was either a robber or a human trafficker!

The tied man tried to argue a few more times, but the police came forward, took him from the old lady, checked the rope at the back to see if it was tied tightly, and kicked him in the knee. He fell to the ground with a thud on the stone pavement.

Xia Youyou was stunned when she saw one of them take out a walkie-talkie from his waist.

Oh, yes, Xu Zhiqiang said last time that now almost every public security bureau in Beijing is equipped with walkie-talkies.

The man put the intercom to his lips and said, "Captain Huang, there's something going on in Gudong Hutong."

A reply came quickly from the other side: "What's going on? I'll be right over."

Xia Youyou raised her eyebrows. Why does this voice sound so familiar?
