Tathagata continued, "They say the Flowing Sand River is indestructible, but I don't believe it. Well, since none of you can handle it, I will deal with it myself."
"The Buddhist mission of obtaining the scriptures is indeed urgent. The catastrophe is about to come. The pilgrim changed his path, but died again. He has also been reincarnated for the sixth time. I am afraid that there are only about two hundred years left before the real catastrophe comes."
He stood up and said, "In just two hundred years, something must be done. Now the 81 trials have been rearranged, but none of the pilgrims have returned."
"Without hundreds of years of accumulation, how can we make them willingly go to the West to obtain the scriptures?"
He added, "I plan to hold a Yulan Buddhist Festival, inviting those who are devoted to Buddhism from all over the world to teach Buddhism. The candidates for the pilgrimage are among those invited to test their devotion to Buddhism."
Maitreya Buddha said, "Buddha, Shachen and we are enemies, should we invite him as well?"
Tathagata said: "Invite, I will go and invite you personally."

Someone came to deliver a message that the Jade Emperor of Heaven had come to the Buddhist Lingshan Mountain in person.
The Buddhas were stunned.
Tathagata said, "Everyone, please follow me to welcome the Jade Emperor."
The Buddhas followed and then met the Jade Emperor.
The Jade Emperor started by asking about the dust and sand, and it seemed that he was very concerned about it.
Kashyapa told the Jade Emperor the results of the Buddhist meeting. The Jade Emperor knew that the Buddhists had murderous intentions towards Sha Chen, so he hurried to stop them.
"Absolutely not. Shachen is already a quasi-saint. His status and strength cannot be underestimated. Moreover, Tongtian Patriarch and Yuanshi Tianzun may be behind him. We must be cautious."
The ancient Buddha Ran Deng said: "Don't worry, it can't be the Yuanshi Saint."
Tathagata also said: "It can't be the Holy Saint Tongtian. If he accepted Shachen as his disciple, he would hold a disciple-taking ceremony and announce it widely."

The Jade Emperor smiled and said, "I do have this in mind. After all, everyone loves talented people. I wonder if the Buddha would be willing to give up his love for me? Or, I have many talented people around me who the Buddha would like..."
Tathagata interrupted the Jade Emperor, smiled slightly, and said, "I am the only one who reigns supreme in heaven and on earth. Shachen, I will take it."
