Guanyin was furious.
Shachen's contempt for her had already touched her bottom line and violated her dignity.
He shouted sternly, "Shachen, you are going too far. Don't think that I can't do anything to you."
"To tell you the truth, this is your last chance to resolve our grievances. If you miss it, you will regret it endlessly."
Shachen chuckled, and the clay man clone gradually disappeared.
Guanyin did not take action, but instead said loudly: "The catastrophe of the Journey to the West is about to come. You can't avoid it at all, and you can't retreat at all."
"Even if you're hiding in the Quicksand River, you're still part of it. Everything is ready, except for you to join the game. The Journey to the West catastrophe is an obstacle you can't avoid."
"If you reject me today, one day it may be the Tathagata himself, or even the two saints of the Buddhist sect who will come to find you."
There was no response from Shachen.
Guanyin called out a few more times, but Shachen still didn't respond. She knew that Shachen must be pretending to be dead.
Although I was angry, I was really helpless.
The quicksand river is indestructible and nothing can break it. Even she can do nothing about it.
Originally, she was thinking that she could trade with Shachen to obtain the innate soil and use it to cultivate the ignorant willow trees.
She also got a piece of willow leaf from Shachen, which could increase the success of her cultivation.
But who knew that Shachen was so ungrateful that he actually refused to agree.
Guanyin was angry and she turned and left.
Half a day.
Guanyin returned to Lingshan and came to the Main Hall.
Tathagata is preaching the Buddha.
The Buddhas were listening attentively, but when they saw Guanyin coming in, Tathagata gradually stopped.
Then he said, "Bodhisattva Guanyin, how about the trip to Liusha River?"
Guanyin said, "Shachen is arrogant and conceited, and he refuses to be disciplined. I am powerless to do anything about it."
The Buddhas were immediately angry.
Kasyapa said, "Shachen is indeed arrogant. I went to look for him before, but he dared to ignore me and did not take the Buddha seriously at all."
Ananda also said, "Shachen's strength is indeed increasing rapidly, but he has also become more arrogant. I think this boy cannot be kept. At least the progress of subduing him must be accelerated, otherwise it will be difficult."
The Buddhas nodded one after another.
They all knew that in order to get Shachen to join the Journey to the West catastrophe, they had to subdue Shachen when he was weak.
If the sandstorm is strong enough, they will be helpless if they want to deal with it.
A truly strong person is very difficult to surrender.
Only by making him surrender when he is weak can you leave an indelible mark on his weak heart.
Only then can he be completely surrendered. Otherwise, he will only surrender in words but not in heart and will rebel sooner or later.
Moreover, the strong have their own ability to distinguish right from wrong. Everything has been set, and it is very difficult to ask them to change their cultivation status or switch to other cultivation.
The original Buddha Tathagata also practiced Taoism. When he turned to Buddhism, he also practiced Buddhism under the Bodhi tree and then attained Buddhahood.
The same is true for Guanyin Bodhisattva and Dipankara Buddha.
It was extremely difficult for them to abandon their previous methods, and then with their supreme perseverance, they achieved their current achievements.
That's their own choice. If they were forced, the progress would be even slower.
They want a strong person who is willing and convinced to join and contribute to the prosperity of Buddhism.
Instead of having a strong person who may betray you at any time, that would be courting disaster.
The Buddhas were very angry about Shachen's attitude. They were so furious that they wanted to rush to the Quicksand River immediately and skin Shachen alive.
Maitreya Buddha said: "Buddha, the sand and dust are indeed abominable. Why not ask the Buddha to personally take action to break the quicksand river and take down the sand and dust?"
When the Buddhas heard this, they agreed deeply with it.
Then they all asked Tathagata Buddha for help, but some people knew that Maitreya Buddha was deliberately throwing the problem to Tathagata. They were supporters of Tathagata, so they were opposed.
After all, even Zhen Yuanzi couldn't break the Flowing Sand River. Although they thought that Tathagata was more powerful than Zhen Yuanzi, he might not be able to break the Flowing Sand River either.
If he cannot break it by then, Tathagata will lose all face and be laughed at by the world.
Moreover, the sandstorms will definitely become more rampant, and people will become even more unscrupulous and lose their respect for Buddhism.
Today, Shachen still maintains a bit of awe towards Buddhism because of the power of Tathagata and the terrifying nature of the Buddhas.
Everyone knows that a fist that is clenched but not thrown is always the most intimidating.
The fist that is thrown out is never clenched, which makes it more deterrent.
Tathagata is the fist they did not throw out. If it is thrown out and cannot break the cave, then from now on, Tathagata will have no deterrent effect on Shachen.
Maitreya Buddha suggested that Tathagata should take action, and his followers and some neutral people all agreed with it.
However, most of Tathagata's followers felt that this was absolutely unacceptable. They did not want Tathagata to risk his own reputation.
but.
There are also some followers of Tathagata who believe that there is great potential for Tathagata. If Tathagata can break the cave in the Liusha River, his position in Lingshan will be unshakable from then on.
No matter how much Maitreya Buddha and others jump around, they cannot shake Tathagata's position.
Kasyapa and Ananda looked at each other. In fact, they had considered a lot, including various possibilities and pros and cons.
They are all a little hesitant and unable to figure it out, let alone make a decision.
Tathagata watched the Buddhas quarreling in silence for a long time before saying, "Silence."
The Buddhas then stopped and looked at Tathagata. They all knew that it was time for Tathagata to make a decision.
