Guanyin asked, "Tang Sanzang, Sun Wukong, why are you so reluctant to go to the West to obtain the scriptures?"
Tang Sanzang had already prepared his speech, but they did not expect that the person coming this time was actually Guanyin, and also Kashyapa and Ananda.
So he said, "We are discussing what disasters there are on the road to the West."
Guanyin said, "If you want to know what disasters there are, you should go and experience them yourself. If you hide in the Five Finger Mountain and refuse to leave, how can you know what will happen in the future?"
Tang Sanzang said, "The Bodhisattva's words make sense, but I am only a mortal. I feel it is too dangerous to release this monkey from the Five Finger Mountain, so I have been hesitating whether to release him."
Guanyin said, "He is the disciple that my Buddhist sect has arranged for you on your journey to the West to obtain the scriptures. Just let him out. He will wholeheartedly escort you to the Lingshan Mountain in the West."
Tang Sanzang looked at Sun Wukong and said, "Will you really escort me to the West to obtain the scriptures?"
Sun Wukong said, "That's not certain. If you want to know whether I can escort you, just release me and you'll find out."
Guanyin and the other two frowned. Kasyapa pulled Tang Sanzang aside, while Guanyin whispered to Sun Wukong.
"Sun Wukong, what do you want to do?"
"Didn't we agree before that if Tang Sanzang released you from the Five Finger Mountain, you would bless him on his journey to the West to obtain the scriptures? Why are you going back on your word now?"
Sun Wukong said, "Bodhisattva, I am truly wronged. This great monk does not believe me. I sincerely want to protect him, but he does not believe me. There is no way I can do this."
Guanyin said, "If you really want to bless him sincerely, then you should tell him clearly. How can you let him doubt your intentions?"
Sun Wukong said, "Perhaps it's my ugly appearance that frightened him. But he doesn't believe me, and there's nothing I can do."
Then he continued to lie there and even whistled.
Guanyin and Ananda exchanged a glance, and finally it was Ananda who spoke up, "Great Sage, you have been suppressed by the Five Finger Mountain for 500 years. Don't you wish to escape someday?"
"Now is your best chance. If you miss it, you'll likely be suppressed for the rest of your life. You already missed it once when you caused havoc in Heaven. Do you want to miss it again?"
Sun Wukong glanced at him, and Ananda was immediately shocked and his scalp tingled.
Guanyin Bodhisattva also felt like she was being stabbed in the back and was terrified.
Just that one glance made both of them feel as if they were falling into an abyss, and they were unable to match it.
At the same time, Guanyin Bodhisattva was also feeling fortunate that Tathagata Buddha allowed two Buddhas to accompany her. Otherwise, if she had come alone, she might have been bullied to death by Sun Wukong.
But for some reason, Guanyin Bodhisattva felt that even if Ana and the other two followed her, it would not be very safe.

Seeing the two men looking so worried, Sun Wukong laughed heartily and said, "Don't be afraid. I won't eat you."
"You're right. I really want to get out, but the monk doesn't believe me. What can I do?"
"Hurry up and think of a way to get him to let me out. If you continue to suppress me, I'm going to go crazy."
