Chapter 672: Wukong Bodhisattva Enters the Cave

Tang Seng and Sun Wukong sang the same tune, and Jin Zha and others were helpless.

Jin Zha said, "Since you insist on crossing the Flowing Sand River, then quickly find a way to get there. There is a great demon beneath the Flowing Sand River. His magical powers are unparalleled and he has killed countless gods, demons, immortals and Buddhas."

"If we stay too long and anger him, our lives may be in danger."

Sun Wukong said, "I am here to subdue demons and monsters. If there really are demons here, I will definitely subdue them and enforce justice on behalf of Heaven, ridding the people of this evil."

Tang Sanzang couldn't help but applaud and said, "Well, well, well, you are indeed the Great Sage Equaling Heaven, Sun Wukong. This level of awareness is better than others."

Sun Wukong smiled and said, "Very good, very good. You and I will enforce justice on behalf of Heaven and eliminate harm for the people. I will enter the Quicksand River in a moment to lure the monster out. You must lend a hand."

This time, Tang Seng and Sun Wukong did not become master and disciple, but instead called each other brothers.

After all, Sun Wukong was able to walk out of the Five Finger Mountain with his own abilities, and his strength was unparalleled.

If he disobeys the Buddhist teachings, Buddhism will be powerless to do anything to him unless it suppresses him forcefully.

If you want to become his master, you must have a strong person to suppress him and force him to submit even if he is unwilling.

In addition, Tang Seng believed that Sha Chen had a good impression of Sun Wukong and was very likely to value Sun Wukong very much. As a disciple of Sha Chen, he certainly could not go beyond his rank and accept Sun Wukong as his apprentice.

So the two of them had a tacit understanding and called each other brothers. Sun Wukong recognized Tang Seng as the elder brother, and Tang Seng called Sun Wukong the younger brother.

The others were speechless, but there was nothing they could do but let them go.

As long as they finally obtain the Buddhist scriptures and complete the Buddhist mission of the Journey to the West, it doesn't matter whether they have the title of master and disciple or not.

What Buddhism actually wants more is to completely subdue Tang Monk and Sun Wukong. As long as these two monsters are subdued and become our right-hand men, we don't care about other forms at all.

Jin Zha and others were a little nervous, but Sun Wukong had already jumped into the air and started shouting, asking the monster in the river to come out.

But there was no response, which made Jin Zha and others even more worried, because they felt that the most terrifying thing was that Shachen had no response. Once he responded, they would suffer a devastating disaster.

But Sun Wukong went crazy and no one could persuade him. He dived into the quicksand river, as if he wanted to fight with the sand and dust.

Quicksand River, in front of the cave.

Sun Wukong stood proudly holding the golden cudgel. Through his flaming eyes, he could barely see the scene of dust and sand within a radius of ten feet inside the cave.

This was also the first time he saw Shachen's true face: a man with a stunning appearance, a strong and upright body, muscles like a giant dragon clinging to his skeleton, and a majestic face.

Although Shachen was unkempt, the training he had been doing over the past few days had made him look extremely resolute. He did not have the handsomeness of a young man, nor the roughness of a hungry thief, but he had the face of a marshal and the body of a general.

He has long flowing hair and a full beard. Before him, the White Bone Demon, Lady Diyong, Spider Demon, Jade Rabbit Demon and others took turns to trim his hair.

So even though he had long hair and a beard, he didn't look sloppy or vulgar at all.

Even the dust looked majestic.

He also looked through the cave door and saw Sun Wukong, with a faint smile on his face.

Sun Wukong said at the door, "Are you Shachen, the Lord of the Flowing Sand River?"

Shachen said, "It's me."

Sun Wukong asked, "Do you dare to open the door of your cave and let me in to talk with you face to face?"

Shachen smiled and said, "Why not?"

Then he actually opened the door of the cave, let Sun Wukong walk in swaggeringly, and then closed the door of the cave.

Jin Zha and others who were on the bank of the Liusha River were all confused.

They didn't expect that after Sun Wukong went down, he would knock on the door directly, and Shachen actually agreed and put Sun Wukong into the cave.

This was something they had not expected, because according to convention and their thinking, Shachen was very wary and cautious about visits from outsiders.

The Tathagata Buddha and many gods and Buddhas came to the Quicksand River and tried every possible means to persuade Shachen to open the door to his cave, but they could not.

Some people even failed miserably and couldn't even get Shachen to reply with a single word.

As a result, when Sun Wukong just said that he wanted to go in, Shachen actually opened the door of the cave and let him come and go.

Several hunters and farmers transformed from the supreme Buddhists looked at each other, not knowing what to do for a moment, and among them there was a strong man with a flickering look in his eyes.

Several other supreme Buddhists were also looking at the sturdy man, as if waiting for him to make a decision. This sturdy man was none other than the Buddhist spokesperson, Guanyin Bodhisattva.

Guanyin Bodhisattva was also worried about Sun Wukong and Tang Monk, so after a detailed discussion in the Main Hall that day, she decided to personally escort the two to the West to obtain the scriptures.

Although this is not very appropriate, and she is very busy, it is really a waste of her talent to spend decades protecting Tang Monk on his journey to the West to obtain Buddhist scriptures.

However, in order for the Journey to the West to proceed smoothly in the future, Guanyin Bodhisattva will have to take action personally.

But now he didn't expect that Sun Wukong would rush into the quicksand river without saying a word, and even dared to challenge Shachen.

Not only that, Shachen also opened the door of the cave and allowed Sun Wukong to enter.

Guanyin Bodhisattva didn't know what to do for a moment. Her eyes flickered, and then disappeared out of thin air. The next moment, she had arrived at the Liusha River Cave.

Sun Wukong swaggered into the cave, and Guanyin Bodhisattva turned into a ray of light, attached three life-saving hairs to the back of Sun Wukong's head, and followed him in.

Shachen had already seen all of this, but he just had a calm smile on his face. After the two of them stepped into the cave, he closed the door.

Then he personally prepared fine wine and delicious food, set up a large table, and then waved his hand and took out three sets of bowls and chopsticks.

Sha Chen said, "The renowned Great Sage Equaling Heaven, Sun Wukong, has graced our presence. I'm sorry for the inconvenience in welcoming you. Please take a seat and enjoy your fine wine. This is your favorite peach wine."

Sun Wukong was not polite either, he picked up the bowl and drank three big drinks in a row.

Sha Chen pointed to another seat and said, "The renowned Guanyin Bodhisattva would certainly not bother to do something as evasive as that. Please take a seat."

"I've prepared some light wine, as well as some pastries and delicacies. If the Bodhisattva doesn't like meat, there are also some vegetarian dishes, so please help yourself."

But after waiting for a while, Guanyin Bodhisattva still did not show up, so Sun Wukong reached out and grabbed the back of his head, picking out three of the hardest hairs that were as hard as needles.

Sun Wukong grinned and said, "Bodhisattva, even I can see through your clumsy transformation technique, let alone Shachen?"
