Chapter 95 Secret Conversations on the Long Voyage

Emerging from the shadows, she silently appeared at the edge of the deck. She seemed invisible, or perhaps it was merely a delusion, a fleeting illusion. No passing employees noticed her, continuing with their work without attempting to correct her dangerous maneuver.

She did not change her posture with the slight rocking of the airship, and seemed unfazed by the cold, wearing only a thin black long dress. Only the wind that flowed freely on the airship's deck could lift her long hair, causing her beautiful black hair to rise and fall erratically in mid-air.

Hikari, finally calming down from her excitement, noticed the temperature drop, sneezed quietly a few times, and hurried towards me, dragging me towards the downstairs lounge. Hikari, that silly girl, suddenly became sleepy after her body warmed up. Her head kept drooping down, and her clear eyes were half open and half closed, looking like she was about to fall asleep. When you talked to her, you could only get a very slow response. She must have been tired from playing wildly just now.

With a touch of reluctance, I laid her down and covered her with a blanket. I then moved a chair and sat down by the window. Watching the wispy clouds drifting nearby, I realized that this airship journey, ostensibly for high-altitude measurements, was finally coming to an end, amidst the soft, hazy breathing.
