If all else fails, we can simply turn our attention to the southernmost point of the mountain range.

So I quietly slipped out of her relaxed embrace, shook my slightly messy short hair, and then lightly jumped to the other side to cover the girl with the blanket that had fallen.
The girl's slightly furrowed brows relaxed, and she subconsciously hugged the edge of the blanket, gently rubbing her soft cheek against it.
Perhaps I'm just really tired.
I don't know how long I slept.
After carefully surveying the cave and finding nothing particularly noteworthy, I waved my claws, summoning a gentle breeze to replenish the somewhat thin oxygen in the cave. I then replaced the dying campfire with a more environmentally friendly and healthy magical fire before slowly walking along the path near the edge, past the Pegasus lying across the cave entrance, and heading towards the outside of the cave.
The alert Pegasus leader opened its eyes, glanced at me, snorted, and paid no further attention. It simply changed its position, closed its eyelids again, and fell into a deep sleep like its other brethren.
Because it was still at a high altitude and in the wilderness at night, the air outside the cave was quite cold, which made me shiver involuntarily and barely manage to tuck the hair that had stood on end.
Fortunately, the paws didn't feel cold much.
I looked around and saw that this seemed to be a natural cave deep in the woods. The trees in front of me were not as lush as the spruce forest I had passed before, but they were of many different kinds. Even just by sniffing the air that was carried by the wind, I could clearly smell the scents of animals such as deer, goats, unicorn rabbits, and roe deer.
