Chapter 20. Hmm, very beautiful. 9/7.02.00...

On February 11, 2010, as the last note faded at the Kobe World Memorial Hall, Big Bang's Electric Love Tour Kobe stop came to an end.

The concert's enthusiastic atmosphere gradually dissipated, the stage lights slowly went out, and the cheers of the crowd faded away.

Kwon Ji-yong, who was radiant on stage, shed all his passion and returned backstage.

His clothes were soaked with sweat after the concert.

Kwon Ji-yong packed up and, without lingering or attending any celebration banquet, greeted his teammates and then quietly boarded a plane from Kobe to Tokyo that very night.

The Kobe concert is over, and we can rest tomorrow. Kwon Ji-yong plans to visit An Ru-feng and then continue his tour in Yokohama the day after tomorrow.

It was very late when he returned to Big Bang's dormitory in Tokyo. The exhaustion from the concert had pushed his body and mind to their limits, and he fell asleep almost immediately after washing up.

The next day, when Kwon Ji-yong woke up, sunlight was already streaming through the gaps in the curtains and falling on his face.

He picked up his phone and looked at the clock; it was already noon.

Kwon Ji-yong slapped his head in frustration. He had forgotten to set his alarm, wasting the whole morning.

He rolled around on the bed, then hugged the blanket, opened the chat interface with An Rufeng, and typed a line of text on the screen.

A friend recently recommended a really good Chinese restaurant. Want to try it tonight?

There's no time to have lunch together, but we should at least have dinner together, right?

At the very least, I should let her know I'm back in Tokyo. Shall we spend the afternoon together?

After sending the message, he didn't rush to wash up, but quietly waited for An Rufeng's reply.

Anru Feng's parents were frying Chinese New Year foods at home, such as spring rolls and rice cakes.

Her parents worked together seamlessly in the kitchen, so Anru Feng didn't need to be there at all. She just watched and ate from the side.

While eating fried rice cakes, An Rufeng's phone suddenly vibrated. She picked it up and glanced at the screen; it was a message from Kwon Ji-yong.

Upon seeing the message, An Rufeng was somewhat surprised. Wasn't he in Kobe? Why was he asking her out for dinner?

Thinking this through, she replied with a message, tinged with some doubt:

[You're in Tokyo? Weren't you having a concert in Kobe last night? How come you're back already?]

Kwon Ji-yong looked at the message. He didn't want her to know that he had rushed back specifically to see her, so he made up a reason:

I had a personal trip to Tokyo, but I rushed back yesterday.

Then he couldn't help but play the victim: "I'm so tired~"

"It's so late after the concert, and you rushed back overnight. You must be exhausted," An Rufeng replied, looking at the pile of fried snacks on the table.

Are you in your dorm? If so, my parents fried some snacks for Chinese New Year, I'll bring some over to you.

Kwon Ji-yong was overjoyed to see her, and although he wasn't hungry, he happily replied:

That's great, thank you. I was just about to get hungry.

An Rufeng was coming up to the dormitory. Quan Zhilong jumped out of bed, checked the dormitory, and found nothing strange. It was very clean and tidy, so he was relieved.

Then she remembered that she was still wearing her pajamas and hadn't washed up, so she immediately went into the bathroom.

Anru Feng greeted her parents and packed some fried snacks to take with her.

Bigbang's dorm is right upstairs from Anru Feng's house, so there's no need to worry about the food getting cold; Anru Feng simply put it in a small basket.

When An Rufeng said she would take it upstairs, An's mother, who was familiar with An Rufeng's circle of friends, couldn't help but ask, "Upstairs? Was it for your friend Dacheng, who sings very well? The one who sings the song that's playing in the living room?"

Anru Feng's stereo was playing Da Cheng's "Da Fa A," a very cheerful song that was perfect for the New Year's atmosphere.

"It's not him, it's Kwon Ji-yong, the leader of the group Kang Dae-sung belongs to. The song playing in the living room is sung by Kang Dae-sung, but it was written by Kwon Ji-yong."

An's mother quite liked the cheerful song and was a warm and hospitable person. She said to An Rufeng, "Since it's so close, why don't we just invite him over for a meal? I wonder if he's had lunch yet? If not, we can have a meal together."

Although they had already eaten lunch, they had prepared a lot of food in advance for the Chinese New Year, so the meal was prepared quickly.

Upon hearing this, An Rufeng thought it would be quite convenient, so she sent a message to convey her mother's invitation.

Go to her house? Kwon Ji-yong had just finished washing up and was picking out clothes when he received the message. He stopped what he was doing, his heart skipped a beat, he wanted to go but was also nervous and uneasy.

He glanced around the dormitory, but there was nothing suitable to send out, and there wasn't time to prepare anything on the spot.

Since it's the first time I'm visiting, I can't just come empty-handed. So I'll skip it.

Kwon Ji-yong reluctantly resisted the temptation to enter the house and made an excuse to decline.

An's mother didn't insist, and prepared some dumplings and fried snacks for An Rufeng, filling a big basket, and asked her to take them over.

When An Rufeng knocked on Quan Zhilong's door, Quan Zhilong was hurriedly getting ready.

Upon hearing the knock, Kwon Ji-yong ran his fingers through his hair one last time, took a deep breath, and then opened the door with a smile.

An Rufeng was immediately struck by his bright white smile when she looked up.

"Wow! So much!" Quan Zhilong immediately took the things from An Rufeng when he saw that she had taken a lot of them.

"There's so much, Ru Feng, why don't you eat with us?" Quan Zhilong invited An Ru Feng to join him after placing the food on the table.

Since her family didn't need her, An Rufeng was also craving food, so she sat down and ate with him.

Fried food like this goes best with Coke, Sprite, and beer. Anru brought these up.

She doesn't like fizzy Sprite, so she usually opens it early and leaves it fizzy.

She picked up the Sprite from the table to open it, but she had just had her nails done and couldn't muster any strength, so she couldn't open it easily.

kiyo~

Kwon Ji-yong noticed that she was trying to open a can of Sprite, but looked a little clumsy because of her manicured nails, and couldn't help but smile.

He took the Sprite from her hand, and with a gentle pull of his fingers, the can opened easily with a crisp sound.

Kwon Ji-yong handed her a Sprite. The color scheme and design on her nails were exquisite, making him want to take a second look. He smiled and praised, "Your nail art is beautiful."

An Rufeng smiled happily upon hearing the praise.

With the Chinese New Year approaching, Anru Feng got a nail art design that fit the festive spirit. The base color was Chinese red, and simplified versions of traditional Chinese patterns were drawn on it with gold powder, making it look both luxurious and vibrant.

"Isn't it beautiful?" She held out her hand to Kwon Ji-yong for him to see, her fingers twitching gently as if she were showing off a precious treasure.

As she moved her fingers, Kwon Ji-yong's gaze was drawn to her fair and slender hand, and he almost reached out and grasped it.

Fortunately, reason prevailed and stopped him in time.

Their relationship wasn't close enough for him to do that.

Although they have grown somewhat closer, they can sit together no more than an arm's length apart.

However, he wasn't about to stop there.

Kwon Ji-yong reached out and gently touched An Joo-feng's fingertips, suppressing the urge to tightly hold her hand in his own, his touch as gentle as if he were handling a precious, fragile object.

He lowered his eyelids and carefully examined Anru Feng's exquisite nails.

The warmth of Kwon Ji-yong's fingers was transmitted to An Joo-bong through his fingertips, giving her a strange warmth.

An Rufeng's fingertips were suddenly and gently pinched, which made her feel a little uncomfortable. She and her very good friends were not very good at physical contact.

But considering that the other person was someone who was used to physical contact, and that he was only gently holding her fingers, An Rufeng could accept it.

As her fingertips were held for a long time, An Rufeng couldn't help but feel a strange sensation. She couldn't help but look up at Quan Zhilong, whose expression was focused and serious as he examined her.

Kwon Ji-yong carefully admired all her manicures, then looked away from her fingertips.

Finally, he looked up at her face, his deep gaze fixed firmly on her features.

He chuckled softly and spoke, his voice deep and magnetic, carrying a subtle, almost imperceptible meaning: "Yes, very beautiful."
