Chapter 57 Childish1/22.23.50
It was quite late when Yamada Yusuke's birthday party ended. Kwon Ji-yong had been drinking, but An Ru-feng hadn't, so she drove them home as usual.
Back home, An Rufeng couldn't help but ask, "What time is your announcement tomorrow?"
If there's a notice early on, it's more convenient to stay in Shinjuku.
"The announcement will be made this afternoon."
The promotional period is almost over, so there's just some wrap-up work to do; it's not too busy.
Kwon Ji-yong scratched his hair in frustration, stepped forward and hugged An Ru-feng's waist, snuggling closer to her: "I'll be going back to Korea soon, and I won't be able to see you often. I'm not happy."
After finishing his work in Japan, Kwon Ji-yong will return to Korea to work on his album.
It has been announced that BigBang will return to the Korean stage with a new album in October or November this year, but there has been no sign of it yet, and it is already September.
The sub-unit's album, which was released before the group's album, has not yet been completed.
He's going to be busy from now on.
An Rufeng reached out and tapped his slightly furrowed brow, replying softly, "I'll come find you after I finish helping Ping Shanjian with the art exhibition. It'll be quick."
She had already promised Hirayama Kenichi, and it was difficult to go back on her word.
Upon hearing this, Kwon Ji-yong's previously dim eyes instantly lit up, a surge of joy coursing through his body. He had thought she would stay in Japan for a long time before visiting Korea.
Kwon Ji-yong happily gave her a long, deep kiss.
His hands unconsciously tightened around Anru Feng's back, his fingertips rubbing against her through the fabric.
As they kissed, Kwon Ji-yong's hands began to wander, slipping inside An Joo-poong's clothes.
Quan Zhilong carried An Rufeng towards the bedroom, but An Rufeng quickly stopped him, saying, "I haven't taken a shower yet!"
She's having a barbecue and sitting on the grass tonight, so she doesn't want to lie in bed.
Upon hearing this, Kwon Ji-yong turned around and carried her directly to the bathroom.
Before entering the bathroom, Quan Zhilong quickly removed An Rufeng's clothes and threw them on the floor.
...
The morning sunlight streamed through the gaps in the curtains, casting soft shadows on the bed.
Kwon Ji-yong's gaze involuntarily fell on An Joo-bong's shoulder blade, where there was a small, faint mole that was barely noticeable unless you looked closely.
Kwon Ji-yong only discovered it after watching that place so many times.
This small mole was like a unique mark, possessing a mysterious magic that attracted him.
Without much thought, he leaned forward and gently pressed his lips to the small mole on her fair shoulder blade.
There were still faint pink kiss marks left by him at night.
Warm breath sprayed onto her skin, and An Rufeng opened her eyes groggily, her gaze still somewhat sleepy. She first noticed the unusual dampness on her shoulder, and her senses instantly became clearer.
An Rufeng's body trembled slightly, and she subconsciously shrank her neck, her shoulders shaking as she turned to look at Quan Zhilong, her eyes filled with the bewilderment of someone who had just woken up and a hint of surprise.
Kwon Ji-yong looked up and met An Joo-feng's gaze, but his lips remained pressed against her shoulder, and he even licked them with the tip of his tongue.
The familiar feeling, the familiar place—Anru Feng didn't know why he liked that place.
An Rufeng opened her mouth, about to speak, but Quan Zhilong spoke first, his voice hoarse from the morning, saying softly, "You're awake."
As he spoke, he gently pecked her shoulder again, then kissed her neck, and reached out, his fingers lightly resting on An Rufeng's arm, slowly caressing it.
An Rufeng snorted and muttered, "I wouldn't have woken up this early otherwise."
There was no hint of reproach in her words, nor did she move away, allowing Kwon Ji-yong to continue his affectionate little gestures.
"Since we're already awake, shall we do something interesting?"
Before she could even speak, he had already pressed himself against her.
·
Not long after Kwon Ji-yong returned to South Korea, An Ru-feng also went to South Korea.
Even though An Rufeng came to South Korea, she didn't spend much time with Kwon Ji-yong.
Kwon Ji-yong is very responsible and a perfectionist. When producing an album, he personally participates in everything from songwriting to choreography, stage design, costumes, and makeup, leaving him with very little personal time.
Although they didn't spend much time together, they were both quite happy that they didn't have to just look at each other through a screen.
After spending a long time in the studio, it was finally time to shoot the music video. One of the songs on the album was to be filmed in a club, and before filming, Kwon Ji-yong and Tapo went to check it out.
Anru Feng went along too. The other members were all free, and they ran into CL, Park Chun, and Park Sandora, so they decided to go together and have a get-together.
Inside the nightclub, the lights flickered dimly, and the music was so loud it made the air tremble.
Quan Zhilong led An Rufeng inside, up to the second floor, where they stood by the railing, looking down.
Kwon Ji-yong's gaze swept over the dance floor and booths as he discussed with Tap about how they would roughly film the music video.
Taiyang and CL would occasionally give them some ideas.
Suddenly, Kwon Ji-yong's phone rang. He glanced at the screen, frowned slightly, gestured to them, and then turned to walk to the corner to answer the call.
The group drank and chatted, but Kwon Ji-yong didn't return for a long time.
"Rufeng unnie, let's go dancing?" CL suggested, looking at the dance floor below with eager anticipation.
Park Chun and Park Sandora also chimed in.
Seeing this, An Rufeng hesitated for a moment before agreeing.
Several girls went downstairs, while Taiyang and Tapu went to a booth to drink.
The DJ booth was playing upbeat music, and Anru Feng, who also dances, didn't feel uncomfortable despite the large crowd.
On the dance floor, the group swayed to the rhythm, their hair flying wildly, their faces beaming with joy.
When the song ended, An Rufeng didn't want to dance anymore. She had just been separated from CL and the others for a while. They were all strangers, and someone even pinched her waist. That's why she only came to nightclubs with a bunch of friends.
Anru Feng returned to her booth, bent down to rummage through her small bag for a mirror, and tried to fix her hair.
Just as she took out the mirror, several small notes slipped out of her bag with a "whoosh".
An Rufeng was stunned for a moment, then subconsciously turned the bag upside down and poured it onto the table. Small notes fluttered down like fine snowflakes, drifting and scattering across the table.
At this moment, Kwon Ji-yong finished his phone call and walked calmly over to the booth.
Upon seeing this scene and the table covered with small notes, he paused, his eyes instantly sharpening.
Kwon Ji-yong's face turned completely dark. He'd only been gone a short while, and there were already multiple men trying to seduce his girlfriend!
Kwon Ji-yong secretly resolved that he would never bring An Joo-feng to the club again.
After accompanying Kwon Ji-yong to film the music video and release the album at Christmas, Anru Feng went to Japan.
Her parents came back from the countryside, and it's her mother's birthday, so she definitely wants to celebrate with her.
Kwon Ji-yong stepped into the entryway, entered the living room, and turned on the lights, letting the light shine in. The sofa and coffee table were as usual, but Kwon Ji-yong felt it was too quiet.
Although he often got home very late after work, and Anru was usually already asleep and the house was quiet, it felt very different.
The same quietness, which he felt was warm and peaceful when Anru was around, now only felt desolate and empty inside.
Kwon Ji-yong slumped onto the sofa, turned on the TV, and the room became noisy.
Kwon Ji-yong checked the time and couldn't resist making a video call to An Yeo-feng.
The call was answered the next moment, and An Rufeng's face appeared on the video call screen.
Kwon Ji-yong was pleasantly surprised, and his body went from being slumped to sitting up.
An Rufeng was delayed by something today and went to bed a little later than usual. She had just finished washing up when she received a video call from Quan Zhilong.
“You’re up early today.” An Rufeng leaned against the edge of the bed, looking at Kwon Ji-yong on the screen.
Kwon Ji-yong pursed his lips: "There's no point in coming back early, you're not here." Kwon Ji-yong sighed, drooping his head, his brows furrowed, and leaned closer to the screen, his voice soft and sweet, "I miss you so much."
On the other end of the screen, An Rufeng sighed helplessly, her lips slightly pursed, and said softly, "We met this morning, don't exaggerate."
Kwon Ji-yong shook his head like a rattle-drum, his childish voice pitiful: "My girlfriend isn't here, the house feels so empty, I'm so lonely~ I can't stand it, when are you coming to Korea to keep me company?"
An Rufeng laughed out loud. He often acted pitiful and coquettish, and she was used to it and immune to it. An Rufeng chuckled and said, "Then you should find one in Korea too."
"Huh?" Kwon Ji-yong didn't react.
“I said, if you’re lonely, find someone over there to keep you company.”
"Hey! Anru Feng! What nonsense are you talking about?"
Kwon Ji-yong glared at her angrily, then suddenly his eyes lit up, he sat up straight, ran into a room, and quickly found paper and pen to write.
An Rufeng was confused by his series of actions and couldn't help but ask, "What's wrong? Are you really angry?"
Hearing An Rufeng's voice through the receiver, Kwon Jiyong snapped out of his writing and put his phone away: "I suddenly have an inspiration to write a song."
After holding the phone up to himself, he started writing again, a smile playing on his lips. He chuckled softly, "I'll find one here, and I absolutely won't let you know."
An Rufeng smiled and said, "Yes, absolutely don't let me know."
"Then I'll have to pretend I don't have a girlfriend." Kwon Ji-yong gripped his pen, the tip gliding rapidly across the paper, pausing occasionally as he chewed on the pen tip in thought. He didn't forget to chat with An Ru-feng, his smile deepening, his eyes and brows brimming with joy.
Following his words, An Rufeng laughed and said, "Not having a girlfriend is very liberating, like the wind, you can go find whoever you want."
As An Rufeng spoke, Kwon Ji-yong's smile deepened, and he wrote even faster.
He would hum a tune, mutter to himself, and occasionally smile at An Rufeng on the other end of the phone, his smile radiant.
A short while later, Kwon Ji-yong put down his pen, picked up the paper filled with musical notes and lyrics, and excitedly showed it to his phone, his face beaming with pride: "It's done!"
Kwon Ji-yong glanced at it; it was all in Korean. He put down the paper and said, "I'll send it to you later."
"Why send it to me? I'll listen to it after you've finished it." An Rufeng was puzzled.
No, you absolutely have to see it.
After Kwon Ji-yong finished speaking, he told An Yeo-feng to go to sleep, and then hung up.
An Rufeng had been chatting with him for so long that it was well past bedtime. Although she didn't know why he hung up in such a hurry, she still went to sleep.
When I woke up, I checked my phone and found that Kwon Ji-yong had sent me a music demo called "today" around 2 a.m.
There was also a picture of the lyrics to "Today," which was thoughtfully translated so she could understand it.
"I spoke as if nothing had happened today."
He said he didn't have a girlfriend.
I want to find comfort in you tonight.
Keep it a secret
Never let her know.
Pretend I don't have a girlfriend
That won't do; that's trying to have your cake and eat it too!
Is it just for fun?
What are you saying?
I said I'm lonely today too.
...
I hate being alone
Relying on the lingering aftertaste
I will return to her side tomorrow.
Today I will be as free as the wind.
..."①
After reading it, An Rufeng was both amused and exasperated.
She thought he had just suddenly had a musical inspiration, but she didn't expect it to be this kind of inspiration. No wonder he insisted on showing it to her.
Is this a retaliation?
childish.
YG Studio.
After Kwon Ji-yong finished refining "Today," he played it for everyone present.
Kwon Ji-yong tapped his fingers lightly on the table, a hint of anticipation on his face, and asked everyone with a smile, "Come on, listen to my new song, what do you think?"
After saying that, he pressed the play button, and the melody of the song slowly flowed out.
Teddy and Taiyang were all there. At first, they seemed casual, but as the lyrics progressed, their expressions gradually changed.
Tap frowned, Taiyang's eyes were full of doubt, and Dacheng's mouth dropped open, his face full of disbelief.
When the song ended, Tap was the first to stand up, walk up to Kwon Jiyong, put his hands on Kwon Jiyong's shoulders, and said seriously: "Hey, Jiyong, you can't make a mistake."
Taiyang said solemnly, "Where did you get this inspiration? Don't make a mistake. Rufeng is such a good person."
Da Cheng quickly chimed in, waving his hands repeatedly: "That's right, that's right, Brother Zhi Long, you need to be careful! Be careful!"
Could it be that Zhilong and Rufeng are having relationship problems? I haven't really noticed.
Da Cheng had already secretly decided to subtly inquire with An Ru Feng about what was going on.
The others all nodded in agreement, their eyes filled with admonition.
Kwon Ji-yong, after listening to Tae-yang and the others' subtle and overt persuasion, refused to listen: "Hey! Do I look like that kind of person!"
No one spoke, but their eyes clearly said, "Maybe!"
Upbeat rhythm, lyrics so explicit they're outrageous.
It's hard not to overthink it.
Seeing this, Kwon Ji-yong didn't bother arguing with them and snorted, "People without girlfriends don't understand!"
