She was pinned down on the boss's lap and kissed until she went limp.

Lu Zhian was trapped in the cramped space between Xiao Yuan's arms and the desk, with nowhere to escape. The question, "Aren't you going to take responsibility for me?" was like an invisible net, tightly binding him.

He kept his head bowed low, almost burying his chin in his collarbone, and squeezed out a barely audible rebuttal from deep in his throat: "...No."

The sound of resistance was as light as a feather, yet it instantly aroused the predator's instincts.

"No?" Xiao Yuan's voice deepened, carrying a sense of pressure. "Look up and into my eyes when you speak."

Lu Zhian's body was stiff, stubbornly refusing to move, as if he could maintain the last bit of his crumbling defense as long as he didn't face those all-seeing eyes.

Xiao Yuan's patience ran out.

With an air of undeniable authority, she forcefully lifted his face. Lu Zhian was forced to meet that gaze—the blue-gray pupils were as deep as an abyss, churning with undercurrents he couldn't fathom.

Their eyes met, and all of Lu Zhian's prepared explanations got stuck in his throat, vanishing under that piercing gaze. He opened his mouth, but no sound came out; only his slightly rapid breathing betrayed his helplessness.

Seeing his expression, Xiao Yuan leaned down and kissed his slightly parted lips.

This was not a gentle kiss; it forcefully pried open his teeth, penetrating deep inside, robbing him of his breath and thoughts. Lu Zhian's mind went blank, his hands instinctively pushing against Xiao Yuan's chest, trying to push him away, but he was held even tighter in Xiao Yuan's arms.

Between the intermittent kisses, he was like a fish out of water, struggling to breathe, his cheeks flushed from lack of oxygen, and his eyes were wet.

Xiao Yuan stepped back slightly, looking at the person in his arms who was breathing slightly. He ran his thumb across the corner of the person's wet lips and said in a hoarse and dangerous voice, "You can't even breathe properly? I'll teach you."

Before Lu Zhian could respond, his lips pressed down again. This time, the rhythm slowed, but it went deeper, with an undeniable guiding meaning. His tongue swept across the palate, arousing a slight tremor that Lu Zhian could not suppress.

"If you don't learn it today..." Xiao Yuan's lips pressed against his, their hot breaths mingling, announcing the final verdict, "then don't even think about leaving."

After an unknown amount of time, in that deep kiss that had transformed from plunder to instruction, and then from instruction to an indescribable tenderness, Lu Zhian's muddled mind finally caught the rhythm of his breathing. Although he was still passive, he was no longer completely stiff.

Feeling the change in the body in his arms, Xiao Yuan finally slowly ended the long kiss. When his lips left, a strand of ambiguous saliva followed. He looked at Lu Zhian's glistening lips and still somewhat dazed eyes, reached out, and pinched his waist lightly.

"Hmm..." Lu Zhian was caught off guard and let out a short groan, his scattered thoughts instantly pulled back.

“Lu Zhian,” Xiao Yuan’s voice was hoarse with a hint of unquestionable seriousness, “Don’t forget what you said today.”

These words were like a bucket of cold water, instantly sobering Lu Zhian up. A sense of shame and a feeling of utter powerlessness, as if he were completely controlled, surged through him again. He abruptly stood up from Xiao Yuan's lap, staggered, and his first instinct was to flee this place that had thrown him into such disarray.

He didn't even dare to look at Xiao Yuan, and turned to rush towards the door.

"You're just going to leave like this?" Xiao Yuan's deep voice came from behind.

Lu Zhian subconsciously looked down at himself—his shirt was disheveled, his lips were swollen and red; anyone could tell what had just happened. He froze on the spot, caught in a dilemma.

While he was still in a state of bewildered panic, Xiao Yuan, who was sitting in the chair, had already made his move. The man didn't even get up; he simply stretched out his arm, precisely wrapped it around Lu Zhian's waist and abdomen, and with his powerful core strength and skillful maneuvering, easily pulled Lu Zhian, who was facing away from him, backward.

Lu Zhian lost his balance and fell back down instantly, but this time he wasn't facing him. Instead, his back pressed tightly against Xiao Yuan's chest, and he sat on Xiao Yuan's lap in a completely enveloped and controlled position.

"I..." Lu Zhian struggled to stand up, but the arm around his waist remained as still as an iron hoop.

"Don't move." Xiao Yuan's voice rang close to his ear, carrying an unquestionable command. He turned on his phone screen, and a simply designed, elegant menu was handed to Lu Zhian.

“Look,” Xiao Yuan rested his chin gently on Lu Zhian’s shoulder, his breath brushing against Lu’s sensitive earlobe, “choose what you want to eat for lunch.”

Lu Zhian stared blankly at the screen, his body stiff. He was trapped in the narrow space between Xiao Yuan's arms and the desk, the man's warm body and steady heartbeat behind him, and his only choice before him.

Even struggling seemed futile; all one could feel was this powerful, inescapable confinement, and the uncontrollable pounding of the heart in the chest.
