Chapter 107 Not Enough

Chapter 107 Not Enough

Pei Song had just pressed his fingerprint and hadn't opened the door when he heard a rapid sound of claws stepping on the floor from inside.

As soon as the door opened a crack, MAX pounced over like a black lightning, jumping excitedly around his legs.

"Okay, okay, I know you miss me, and I miss you too." Pei Song smiled and rubbed MAX's head with one hand, while carrying the take-away box with the other hand and went to the kitchen.

He poured the packed vegetables into a fresh-keeping container, carefully rinsed off the seasonings, and wiped the moisture off the food with paper towels.

MAX followed closely behind him, wagging his big tail like a fan, staring eagerly at the food in his hand.

"Let me see your belly." Pei Song squatted down and gently touched MAX's belly, and found that it was still warm and bulging. "Auntie has fed you, right? You can't eat anymore. I'll give you a snack tomorrow morning. Eating too much tonight is not good for your stomach."

MAX looked at him with wet eyes and let out a wronged whimper.

Pei Song couldn't bear it, so he took out a small piece of fish, broke it into a few pieces the size of a fingernail and put them in MAX's food bowl: "Just eat this little bit, just to taste it."

MAX immediately came over happily, but instead of wolfing down the food like usual, he ate it very gracefully, taking small bites at a time.

"It looks like it's really full." Pei Song stroked its back, "It even eats so politely."

Pei Song played with MAX for a while, then got up and prepared to take a shower.

He stood in front of the bathroom mirror, looking at the stage makeup on his face with worry for a while.

Since there was no special makeup remover, he had to squeeze out some facial cleanser and gently rub his face.

The eyeliner was a little difficult to remove, and he had to wash it over and over again to get rid of the stubborn marks.

After taking a shower, he came out drying his hair and found MAX already asleep on the cushion beside the sofa.

Pei Song curled up on the sofa and opened the mobile game to pass the time.

He has been playing this game for a long time, but has always remained at a medium level. Every time he wants to reach a high level, he will be beaten to a pulp.

After playing a few qualifying games, time unknowingly reached 10 o'clock in the evening.

When he heard the sound of the smart lock being unlocked at the entrance, MAX immediately pricked up his ears and wagged his tail gently.

Shi Yanchen pushed open the door, smelling faintly of alcohol.

"Did you drink a lot?" Pei Song put down his phone, "Do you want me to make you some hangover soup?"

"No need," Shi Yanchen took off his coat, "I just had a few drinks with you, nothing special."

"Then go take a shower," Pei Song said, "I still have a year-end summary to write."

Shi Yanchen nodded, turned and walked towards the bathroom.

Pei Song opened his laptop and placed it on the coffee table. He had just written a paragraph when he heard the door of the master bedroom open.

Shi Yanchen came out wearing dark grey pajamas, which were the same style as the dark blue ones Pei Song was wearing.

He walked straight to the sofa and sat down next to Pei Song.

"You finished washing so soon?" Pei Song looked up at him.

Shi Yanchen didn't say anything, just looked at him steadily.

"What's wrong?" Pei Song felt a little frightened by his gaze.

"Song Song," Shi Yanchen leaned forward slightly, his voice low and gentle, as if bewitching, "I still want to kiss you, I didn't kiss you enough just now."

Without waiting for Pei Song to react, he reached out and pulled the person into his arms.

Pei Song staggered and fell directly onto his legs.

Shi Yanchen's kiss followed immediately, more passionately than in the parking lot.

Pei Song subconsciously hugged his neck and held him tightly.

The two of them were kissing each other, and time seemed to stand still.

Shi Yanchen's palm gently stroked his back, causing him to shiver slightly.

After an unknown amount of time, Pei Song regained some of his rationality and gently pushed him away: "Wait..."

"What's wrong?" Shi Yanchen's voice was a little hoarse.

"My lips hurt..." Pei Song said in a low voice.

Shi Yanchen then looked at his lips carefully, and found that they were indeed a little broken and swollen.

"I'm sorry," he said guiltily, "I'll go get the ointment."

He stood up, took out a tube of lip repair balm from the cabinet, and sat back on the sofa.

"Come here," he said softly, "I'll help you apply the medicine."

Pei Song obediently came over and let him apply medicine on him carefully.

Shi Yanchen moved very gently, for fear of hurting him.

But looking at the lips that were swollen from his kisses, he couldn't help but want to kiss them again.

"Don't move," he whispered. "Let the ointment absorb for a while."

Pei Song nodded, but found that Shi Yanchen's eyes were always on his lips, and his eyes were getting deeper and deeper.

Sure enough, not long after, Shi Yanchen leaned over and kissed her again.

This time the kiss was much gentler, as if he was tasting some precious delicacy.

MAX woke up at some point and squatted beside the sofa, looking at them with his head tilted, seeming very confused by his owners' behavior.

Pei Song was amused by it, but his laughter was completely swallowed up by Shi Yanchen's kiss.

"If you keep going like this, I won't be able to finish writing my year-end summary tonight," Pei Song pushed him away, "I still have to go to work tomorrow."

"What summary do you need to write?" Shi Yanchen held him tightly, "The most important thing for you now is to accompany me."

"You are using public resources for personal gain," Pei Song said with a smile, "As the CEO, how can you do this?"

Shi Yanchen lowered his eyes and looked at him: "As your boyfriend, I beg you to put your work aside for the time being."

"Then I still want to complain about your abuse of power." Pei Song said.

"The complaint is invalid," Shi Yanchen said as he was about to kiss her again.

The two were playing around when MAX suddenly jumped onto the sofa and rubbed their clasped hands with his wet nose.

"Okay, okay," Pei Song patted its head, "We won't make trouble anymore. MAX can't stand it anymore."

Shi Yanchen let him go, but couldn't help but pecked the corner of his lips again: "Then you go write the summary, I'll go pack up."

Pei Song sat back at the coffee table and opened the document, but the smile on his face never faded.
