Chapter 96 Private Domain
The night is as dark as ink, slowly permeating the entire city. Lights light up one by one, like the eyes of the night.
Pei Song leaned against the window, looking at the traffic downstairs, replaying the dance moves in his mind.
Shi Yanchen came out of the shower and saw him thinking: "Thinking about dancing"
Pei Song hummed.
"Take it easy." Shi Yanchen said softly, "Don't put too much pressure on yourself."
Pei Song nodded, his eyes still looking into the distance.
Shi Yanchen wiped his hair with a towel and turned back to the bedroom.
MAX came over with a blue rubber ball in his mouth and looked at him expectantly.
"Do you like this new toy?" Pei Song squatted down and gently rubbed its head.
The rubber ball bounced from the floor, MAX jumped into the air, caught it steadily, then ran back excitedly and put the ball in Pei Song's hand.
After only two rounds, Pei Song threw the ball for the third time and it bounced towards the bedroom. Unexpectedly, MAX not only did not catch it, but rushed towards the master bedroom happily.
"MAX, don't go in!" Before Pei Song finished speaking, MAX had already used his mouth to push open the half-closed door and rushed in.
Whether in Country D or when they lived together in a hotel suite, Pei Song had never stepped into Shi Yanchen's bedroom.
Even after moving here, he has always been guarding that invisible boundary.
That was Shi Yanchen's private area, which had always been solemn and private in his heart.
But he couldn't care less about that now, so he just followed in and grabbed MAX who was rolling on the carpet.
When he raised his head, he froze in place.
Shi Yanchen turned sideways towards the door and was reaching out to put on his white shirt.
The light in the bedroom was soft and warm, shining on his naked upper body, outlining his smooth muscle lines.
His profile appeared particularly clear under the light, with distinct contours and a hint of concentration between his eyebrows.
The well-proportioned and powerful muscles rise and fall slightly with the movement, like a painting full of power.
The two people's eyes met unexpectedly in the air.
Pei Song wanted to look away, but found that his gaze was fixed there and he could not move.
His heartbeat unconsciously quickened and his cheeks felt slightly hot, as if he was being pulled by some invisible force and couldn't extricate himself from the picture.
Shi Yanchen's fingers paused on the button, a hint of teasing flashed in his eyes: "Looking for MAX?"
"I'm sorry," he blurted out in panic, "I, I'm here to catch MAX."
Shi Yanchen regained his composure, buttoning his shirt while looking at him with a sidelong glance, his eyes teasing: "Why don't you go out?"
These words brought Pei Song back to his senses abruptly. He walked out quickly as if he had been scalded.
As they passed each other, the refreshing scent of Shi Yanchen after bathing hit me in the face.
This breath made his fingers tremble slightly, and he almost fell down hugging MAX.
"Are you hungry again?" He said to MAX in a nonchalant manner, "You just had dinner."
MAX looked at him innocently and wagged his tail gently.
Pei Song stood in the living room, still immersed in the scene just now.
The moisture on Shi Yanchen's body had not yet completely dissipated, and he walked out with the unique refreshing scent after bathing.
"Why are you standing there in a daze?" Shi Yanchen's voice brought Pei Song back to his senses.
MAX had already jumped out of his arms and happily ran to Shi Yanchen's feet and rubbed against him.
"I was thinking about...tomorrow's dance practice." Pei Song made up an excuse and tried to ignore the excitement brought by the scene just now.
Shi Yanchen walked up to him and reached out to gently straighten his messy collar: "Are you still worried about not being able to keep up with the pace?"
The inadvertent touch of his fingertips made Pei Song's heart skip a beat: "A little... After all, this style of dance will become unfamiliar if it is interrupted for too long."
"You danced very well during the rehearsal." Shi Yanchen said, "Especially the wave movement, which was very smooth."
Pei Song was stunned for a moment: "You even saw this?"
"It's all in the video Lin Yuwei sent." Shi Yanchen smiled, "So I specifically told her to keep the original arrangement."
Pei Song immediately thought of his and Jin Shuning's double act and turned his face away: "Those videos... are too embarrassing."
"How could that be?" Shi Yanchen chuckled, "Our Manager Pei looks very handsome when he dances."
"Don't make fun of me." Pei Song lowered his head and fiddled with MAX's collar. "I have to get the feeling again tomorrow."
"Are you sleepy?" Shi Yanchen noticed that his eyes looked a little tired.
"Well, maybe I'm too tired today." Pei Song rubbed his eyes.
"Go and have a rest." Shi Yanchen said, "You still have to go to work tomorrow."
Pei Song nodded and was about to turn around when Shi Yanchen suddenly leaned close to his ear and whispered, "Next time you want to see it, just come to me directly."
These words immediately made Pei Song's blood surge, and even his neck felt like it was burning.
He walked into the room in a panic and almost bumped into the door frame.
"Be careful." There was a smile in Shi Yanchen's voice.
Pei Song hurriedly closed the door, dived into the quilt, and couldn't help pounding the bed a few times.
Thinking back to Shi Yanchen's teasing tone just now, she felt both sweet and annoyed.
Why do you make it sound like he did it on purpose? It was clearly an accidental intrusion!
…
The next morning, Pei Song arrived at Zhou Feng's office on time.
"Mr. Zhou, this is the training plan of Harmony Medical. I compiled it last night." Pei Song handed over a document. "They have a lot of experience in professional qualification certification that we can learn from."
Zhou Feng flipped through the information: "You are very efficient."
"Since we agreed to discuss this today, we must be fully prepared." Pei Song turned on the computer and pulled out a spreadsheet. "I have sorted out the curriculum system of Harmony Medical, from basic nursing to specialized skills, and divided it into four levels. Each level has clear assessment standards and promotion mechanisms."
"The idea is very clear," Zhou Feng read the content carefully, "but the conditions of the retirement communities we have taken over are different, so we may need to adapt to local conditions."
"That's what I think," Pei Song said. "So I suggest we do a comprehensive assessment first to understand the specific situation of each community's existing team."
The two discussed until almost noon and basically determined the framework of the training system.
"Let's stop here for today. You can do your thing first." Zhou Feng closed the file. "If you need anything later, please let me know. Don't overwork yourself."
Pei Song nodded, looked at the time and saw that it was already 12:20, so he packed up his documents and went to the dance studio immediately.
