Chapter 115 Ordinary

"Can you two stop making trouble?" A soft female voice came from behind Bai Song.

Bai Song turned around and suddenly remembered who Sun Xiaohui was. Bai Song had seen her half a month ago. She was the daughter of the deceased Sun.

Bai Song had seen this name in someone else's transcript, and now he remembered it. The last time when Sun's wife left, Sun Xiaohui got out of the car from the main driver's seat and sat in another seat. Bai Song had seen this once.

Sun Xiaohui was quite thin at that time, and now she has lost almost 10 kilograms. She is no longer thin but bony. Her eye sockets are a little sunken, and you can tell at a glance that she has been crying a lot recently, and her eye circles are dark.

Bai Song didn't think such a thin girl was beautiful, but Sun Xiaohui looked really pitiful, which could easily arouse a man's desire to protect her. Bai Song finally understood why these two rich second-generations were quarreling over Sun Xiaohui.

Bai Song recognized Sun Xiaohui, but Sun Xiaohui did not recognize Bai Song. She was so heartbroken last time that she did not pay attention to what the policeman next to her looked like. In addition, it was dark at that time, so she had no impression of Bai Song at all.

Bai Song had no intention of revealing her sad story, so he didn't speak to her. The two men were very cool when they saw Sun Xiaohui coming, and they didn't seem to be arguing with each other at all.

"Sanmi, give me the on-site mediation notebook." Bai Song took a notebook from Sanmi, copied the two people's information on it, and then wrote: "1. The two parties' mutual beatings shall be resolved through negotiation; 2. Both parties do not require an injury assessment; 3. If there are other issues, they shall be resolved through litigation in the People's Court..."

"Just sign your names and put your fingerprints on them, and then I'll be leaving." Bai Song handed over the completed notebook.

Neither of them was convinced by the other, but they both signed obediently.

"Xiaohui, are you here? Why don't you answer the phone? Your mother called my cell phone." A girl ran over from the side, holding a cell phone in her hand that was on the phone.

"The phone is charging." Sun Xiaohui touched her pocket and then took the phone from the girl.

"Hello, Mom, oh, oh, I'm fine. I forgot to charge my phone. You don't have to worry about me. Hmm? OK, I'll pick you up at the door." Sun Xiaohui hung up the phone and said to the girl, "My mom is here. I'll pick her up at the door. Thank you for running so far just to bring me a phone."

"Why say thank you?" The girl hugged Sun Xiaohui and said, "Don't be afraid, Xiaohui. We will always be with you."

"Yeah." Tears welled up in Sun Xiaohui's eyes again.

Seeing this, Chen Kai immediately took out a pack of tissues from his Coach bag and handed it over.

Sun Xiaohui glanced at Chen Kai, then took it, pulled out one, and handed the rest back.

"No, you keep it." Chen Kai waved his hand.

"I don't want her, why are you trying to please me?" Jia Fei snatched the tissue from Sun Xiaohui's hand and stuffed it directly into Chen Kai's bag. Then he gritted his teeth and lowered his voice, "I told you to stay away from Xiaohui, didn't you hear me?"

"Don't scare me. I'm ready to fight you anytime if you want." Chen Kai said loudly, deliberately letting Sun Xiaohui hear it.

"Damn it, you are shameless?" Jia Fei cursed, "You are such a person, and you still want to fight? You can call the police if I kick you." Jia Fei glanced at Bai Song, and seeing that Bai Song didn't say anything, he continued, "Next time, let's practice alone. Whoever calls the police will be a grandson."

"Enough, enough, is this never going to end?" Sanmi couldn't bear to watch any more. "What do you two want to do? If you want to fight, then find a separate arena, sign an agreement, and go ahead. Why are you yelling here? If you keep saying these useless things, come with us and stay in the police station for two days!"

Bai Song couldn't help but look at Sanmi. After all, he was an old auxiliary police officer who had been in the station for a year. Who did he learn this from? He was quite capable.

The two boys lowered their heads in dismay, but Sun Xiaohui ignored them and said to the girl, "I'm going to the door to find my mother."

"I want to go too." Chen Kai said immediately.

"I'll go too." Jia Fei followed behind.

Bai Song was sure that the two men could not start a fight, so he prepared to leave and followed them towards the school gate.

"What are you looking at!" On the way, Chen Kai yelled at a boy who was staring at them. Bai Song glared at Chen Kai. Chen Kai smiled awkwardly and put his hands in his pockets.

Sun Xiaohui was in a very low mood and didn't pay any attention to Chen Kai and the others. She just walked to the school gate on her own.

"Mom," Sun Xiaohui forced a smile and stood in front of her mother, "I'm fine, you don't have to come so often."

"You've lost weight again, kid. I made some chicken soup for you." Sun's wife showed a hint of sadness on her face. "Eat and drink all of this. Did you hear me?"

The woman looked up and saw Bai Song at once, "Officer Bai? Why are you here too?"

"It's just a small matter, it has nothing to do with your daughter." Bai Song said hello to the woman and prepared to leave: "I'm done, I'll leave now."

"Well, thank you." The woman said again.

Bai Song smiled and nodded, then turned and left. Sanmi also glanced at the mother and daughter, then followed Bai Song.

"Brother Song, is this woman the wife of the dead man?" Sanmi asked after getting in the car.

"Yes", it's her, that Sun Xiaohui is the daughter of the deceased.

"It's so tragic that he lost his father at such a young age."

Sanmi sighed and said, "It's a pity that such a beautiful girl died."

"Beautiful?" Bai Song forgot to step on the clutch when he changed gears, and the clutch squeaked. "You call this beautiful? I think she is 1.68 meters tall and weighs more than 70 kilograms now. Is this beautiful?"

"It looks good," Sanmi shook his head and sighed, "It's a pity anyway."

"Yes, it is always sad to lose one's father at a young age," Bai Song sighed, "But Sun's wife is unlucky enough. It must be sad to be widowed in middle age."

"That's different. The man owed a lot of debts. Even though the woman has to pay it back after his death, it's okay if she doesn't pay it back. Can't she just find another one? You can find any husband, but you only have one father. The nature of the situation is different." Sanmi said.

"Hmm...what you said makes sense," Bai Song pondered. Sanmi still had his own ideas: "Sanmi, have you been working for a year?"

"Yeah, it's been a year," Sanmi sighed, "Time flies by so fast, I just muddle through every day."

"I remember you have a college degree, right? Why don't you take the exam to become a police officer or civil servant?" Bai Song said.

"Now, those who are not majoring in public security must have a bachelor's degree to take the civil service exam, which I cannot do."

"Then try to get a bachelor's degree," Bai Song said, "If you have any questions, you can ask me."

Sanmi thought for a moment and said, "Well, Brother Song, I'll consider what you said."
