Chapter 118 Animal Star Wars [08]

When the kitten approached the service desk, Chief Lu just gave it a look, and without caring whether the kitten understood or not, he suddenly raised his two front hooves.

The woman's expression finally relaxed, but her eyes became cold and stern as she looked at Lu Cai, as if she wanted to pull out her tendons and bones.

Lu Cai stomped his hoof onto the service counter, then pushed himself up with his hind leg, intending to kick the computer off the desk. The young woman, however, grabbed the computer, and a dozen black-clad security guards rushed out.

A multitude of dark shadows came up to surround him. Lu Cai retracted his hooves, dodging and kicking the group. They held electric batons in their hands and swung them at Lu Cai with all their might.

Fortunately, her supernatural energy can still resist, otherwise she would have suffered internal injuries and vomited blood from this blow.

Lu Cai swung his body and knocked down a group of men in black. He glanced in the direction of 666, but could not see the figure of the kitten. The young woman was still guarding the computer tightly.

In a split second, a tall, black-clad security guard rushed forward. Lu Cai carefully dodged the attack, then raised his horse's hoof and kicked him in the back. The black-clad security guard fell to the ground, his body shaking violently before slowly turning transparent and disappearing into the floor.

These security guards, like hunters, can be killed.

Just as he was thinking about it, a scream came from the service desk. The woman's scream was piercing and echoed in the empty hall. The sound seemed to be infinitely amplified and entered Lu Cai's ears.

She looked in the direction of the sound and saw a small, fast-moving ball of fur jumping around on the woman's shoulders and arms. The woman was spinning in panic, her steps still moving backwards.

The little cat had limited strength, so every move was a collaboration between him and Lu Cai. 666 was responsible for disrupting the opponent, and then Lu Cai would come in to finish off the opponent, injuring him with a kick and sending him away.

Now 666 jumped around, leaving horrible blood marks on the young woman's arms and face. Several thin blood marks oozed out of the wounds and slowly rolled down, leaving light blood marks on her fair cheeks.

Lu Cai dodged an attack from the side, bumped sideways, and knocked over two security guards in black. She seemed to have thought of something, and a moment of hesitation flashed in her eyes. Finally, she looked stern and made up her mind.

666 jumped from the young woman's shoulders to the service desk table, quickly adjusted his direction, faced the woman with unsteady steps, exerted force on his feet, and pounced on her face.

The sharp claws are exposed, and the soft cat feet only add a sense of coldness.

The kitten left fresh claw marks on the young woman's face and was about to jump away when he noticed a wisp of light red silk passing through the air. He paused slightly and jumped back to the service desk in the direction he came from.

The woman seemed to have tripped over something and stumbled backwards, falling to the ground with a loud thump. The sliding office chair beside her was hit by her head, spinning wildly and rushing towards the wall. After the violent impact, the rotating chair finally stopped.

666 turned gracefully on the table, lowered his furry little head slightly, and looked at the woman curled up on the ground. Her originally meticulous hair became messy, and then her whole body became transparent, and finally disappeared without a trace.

A hint of light red faded into the floor tiles.

“Beep—beep—”

The alarm in the entire building sounded, and the black-clad security guards surrounding Lu Cai also stopped.

Amidst the sirens, the cold voice of the woman at the front desk who had just disappeared rang out: "An unexpected incident has occurred at Experience Venue No. 3 in the Hunting Ground. The building will initiate its self-destruct sequence. The hunting activity ends here—"

Before the broadcast stopped, the security guards in black immediately scattered.

Cai Lu was still in a daze as he watched the black-clad security guard fleeing in panic.

Self-destruction? How? It actually scared away all the "programmers" working for the hunting grounds?

[Shi Rukui: What happened?]

[Lu Cai: I accidentally kicked the front desk clerk out.]

[Shi Rukui:......]

[Lu Cai: Do you have a computer over there?]

[Shi Rukui: Yes.]

[Judicial Judge Lu: Please check the computer. The front desk clerk was protecting it the whole time.]

After giving the reminder, she closed the interface and quickly walked around to the inside of the service desk. 666 moved his kitten paws and looked at the screen of the computer on the desk.

The screen was a deep blue, with countless white numbers constantly entering and jumping, and bursts of light swept across the screen.

[Shi Rukui: The computer is running on its own, and the keyboard, mouse, and power on/off are useless.]

Lu Cai frowned slightly when she saw Shi Rukui's message. She wanted to try the keyboard, but when she lifted her leg, she remembered that she was now a horse.

"666, try pressing the keyboard." She put down the horseshoe.

The kitten was very obedient and didn't hesitate at all. There were no sharp claws on its soft paws. It stepped on the keyboard and looked up at the display screen. There was no change.

As if that wasn't enough, 666 stretched out its other front paw and almost pounced on the keyboard. The cat's paw rose and fell, making the keyboard creak.

Lu Cai paid attention to the interface and finally said, "Okay."

666 let go of the keyboard reluctantly.

[Shi Rukui: If this is truly a virtual game, then the world we live in is actually a fiction created by computer data?]

Lu Cai was stunned and thought about it, then seemed to understand the meaning of his words.

[Lu Cai: Do you think the data in the computer is the basis of the plot of this "Hunting Ground"?]

She recalled that when she used her special powers to observe the players and dungeon monsters, what she saw in the end were strings of irregular, autonomously jumping data. Even the KB game was basically made up of countless numbers, so it was not surprising that this hunting ground game was made up of computer data.

Unfortunately, the data in the computer cannot be changed...

Lu Cai looked at the computer screen, mobilized the remaining supernatural energy in his body, and finally sighed.

[Lu Cai: I have an idea. I don't know if it will work, but be prepared.]

Her eyes fell on the computer screen, her expression focused, her eyes fixed on the numbers flashing on the screen. Even if she only had a little bit of supernatural power left, she could still analyze the data jumping in the computer.

White numbers flashed on the blue screen, her eyes reflected the light, and her face flickered.

After a long time, Lu Cai did not blink, his eyes were tired and sore, as if moisture was accumulating, and the scenes he saw began to double.

She gasped for breath, and for some reason, she felt a heavy pressure on her back, making it hard for her to breathe. Lu Cai felt increasingly tired, and her legs unconsciously weakened and began to tremble slightly.

But she couldn't give up. She didn't want to be abandoned in this copy world, unknown to anyone.

He forced himself not to collapse, staring at the screen despite the pain in his eyes. The white text slowly faded, leaving only a deep blue.

The scene before my eyes became increasingly blurry.

The blue background was gradually stained by a mass of inky black. Lu Cai took a deep breath, only to realize that the air was stuck in his chest, unable to swallow or exhale.

She choked there, her eyes gradually losing strength and becoming dim.

The inky black screen swayed before her eyes, but she still insisted on staring at the screen. In the moment when the light dimmed, a drop of red sank into the inky black.

This body seemed to be sleepy in the afternoon, and she had lost control of her body. Her four legs were drained of strength and turned into soft cotton. Her body collapsed and fell to the ground.

In a daze, a black and white kitten jumped down from the table. Its bright red eyes were just like the red that had just penetrated the black screen, extremely dazzling.

......

"How long will she sleep in this coma?"

In a daze, I heard someone talking in a murmuring voice, the voice coming and going from time to time.

"Maybe she's over-consumed her supernatural powers. I just injected some healing energy into her, and I feel like she's feeling empty inside. She needs to recuperate for a while."

Is this voice... Shi Rukui? Whose other voice is this?

Lu Cai struggled to open his eyes, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't tear through the darkness in front of him, as if he was possessed by a nightmare while sleeping.

The more she struggled, the thicker the darkness enveloped her, her limbs ached, and even the sound of their conversation gradually faded away.

Finally, she relaxed suddenly.

I'm so tired, I just want to lie down for a while...

The moment he relaxed his whole body, a blinding white light pierced through the darkness. Lu Cai was blinded by the white light and he closed his eyes and turned his face to the side. The complete silence was instantly broken.

Lu Cai slowly opened her eyes, and what came into view were white walls and dark yellow floor-length curtains, and then the kitten curled up beside her head.

I moved my body and found that I was lying on my side on the floor, which was covered with a soft and thick carpet.

"Hey, you're awake—" the strange male voice said with a smile.

Lu Cai tilted his head and saw a man with a smile on his face. He was about thirty years old and wearing a casual thin sweater. His eyes were slightly narrowed, and he seemed to have some evil intentions.

"Lao Ke?" Lu Cai was surprised. "How come you are a human?"

After hearing this, Lao Ke's expression turned visibly colder and he didn't want to pay any more attention to her.

A black and white bird fluttered in front of Lu Cai and said, "You finally woke up and tore up the side storyline. You're really capable..."

It was like being deaf.

Lu Cai recalled the last scene before she fell into a coma, when she was struggling with the data in the computer.

"We're leaving?" She relaxed.

Shi Rukui said: "Yes, now we are back to the main world."

"Was it really in a side storyline before?"

"Mr. Ke has investigated, and it is indeed a side story." Xiao Falcon glanced at the man beside him. "Mr. Ke said that this instance is still in the experimental stage and should not be put into use yet."

Cai Lu frowned, it seemed they had really been cheated.

"I can't keep you here forever. Get out of here as soon as you wake up." Seeing that Lu Cai really didn't intend to pay attention to him, Lao Ke snorted in annoyance. When his eyes fell on the kitten, his tone softened a little.

"Why are you in this copy?" Lu Cai lay down. She didn't have the strength to get up.

Lao Ke snorted coldly: "I came here to recuperate because I saw this dungeon was unfinished. Who knew you would haunt me and come here?"
