Chapter 204 Attracting Investment

With their thoughts in sync, the two Huang siblings sitting to the side both turned their gazes toward Jiang Shuya.

Jiang Shuya smiled brightly:

"That's exactly what I was thinking too. I'm planning to open two stores, one in the west of the city and one in the east. I'd like you to invest. What do you think?"

Getting to the point, Mr. Hu pointed to Huang Minghao:

"I knew it! You guys must have something important to say. You rarely come by, and Hao Hao only came once two years ago. I was wondering what good thing could have come to see me today."

Huang Minghao stood up and naturally offered President Hu a cigarette:

"Xiaoya wants to start a fast food business and is partnering with our famous chef from Xixia Village. She had some disagreements with my cousin and his wife before, and now she wants to expand from online to offline. As her husband, I have no reason not to support her."

Huang Li's husband, Hu Jianming, is a few years older than Huang Minghao. He should be Huang Li's brother-in-law, but Huang Li always calls him by his nickname.

Seeing her cousin's serious expression, Huang Li smiled and asked, "What's the budget for the two stores?"

Jiang Shuya replied, "It will cost one million, with each store to be around 200 square meters."

Mr. Hu remained calm, his eyes still fixed on the repurchase data on the computer screen. After a moment, he looked up:

"All arrangements for the two stores have been made. The investment is one million; we expect it to take a certain number of years to break even."

Jiang Shuya pondered for a moment; "I've done a budget analysis. Assuming each store sells a thousand servings a day—and that's the minimum—it's estimated we can break even in two years. And that's just offline sales. If you're willing to invest, I'll transfer 5% of the online shares to you as well."

Mr. Hu looked up, his eyes lighting up:

"I'll invest one million; how much are you planning to give back offline?"

Jiang Shuya replied instantly:

'5 points.'

Mr. Hu was dissatisfied and quickly shook his head;

"No, that's too low. I'm the main investor. You didn't invest a single penny in these two stores; I contributed the majority. You should at least give me 20% of the shares!"

Jiang Shuya smiled and retorted:

"Mr. Hu, you've already gained a head start. My online business has unlimited potential; you can't be oblivious, can you? You take 5% from each of the two stores, plus the online portion, totaling 15%—that's quite a lot!"

At this point, Huang Li was somewhat dissatisfied:

"Sister-in-law, how many shares do you and my brother own?"

Jiang Shuya turned her head:

"Just like you, 5%."

Upon hearing this, the three looked at each other, feeling utterly bewildered.

Jiang Shuya turned her head and opened another page on the computer to begin the demonstration:

"I plan to turn the two stores into joint-stock flagship stores, divide the profits, and jointly own them with the employees. Of course, the most capable will be given priority. I want to build an all-around chef team. I talked to Sister Xiaohui. Her fellow apprentices all came from Jinling Hotel and are national-level master chefs."

It's very difficult to poach them; only a shareholding system can truly win them over. In the future, I won't just open these two stores; I'll use 30% of the profits to open branches in other cities. Don't underestimate that 5%—it's about distributing profits; I'm simply diversifying my investments.

The three nodded in agreement, but General Manager Hu remained calm. He glanced at Huang Li:

How much money is in the account right now?

Huang Li stood up and said, "You're really planning to vote?"

Mr. Hu sighed, pursing his lips, still dissatisfied; "The shares can't be discussed any further, they're really too few."

Jiang Shuya tilted her head, looking apologetic;

"Mr. Hu, I had already considered this before I came. Actually, I could have taken another route: opening a shop first and applying for a business loan from the bank, although that would be slower. Or I could have waited a few months and received some compensation for the demolition, which would have allowed me to open the shop. At worst, my mother's packing shop could have provided some temporary relief. But if I used any of these methods, it would be none of your business."

Upon hearing this, Mr. Hu smiled, pursing his lips.

"Don't try to provoke me. We're all relatives, and you're our sister-in-law. I'm sure you're genuinely committed to running the restaurant, just a little impatient. There's no need to treat family like this."

Jiang Shuya thought to herself, "If I don't talk to you about these things, will you take the money so readily?"

Huang Minghao suddenly spoke up: "Huang Li and I are like siblings. Of course, when something like this happens that's good for making money, I'll think of you two."

Mr. Hu glanced at Huang Li, seemingly asking for her opinion. Huang Li gave him an affirmative look and then made up her mind.

"One million will be transferred to your account in three days. Send me the bank card number first. Before opening the store, draft the contract terms; I need to review them."

Upon hearing this, Jiang Shuya quickly stood up, took a card out of her bag, and handed it to Huang Li;

"Don't worry about the contract. I'll list all the terms and conditions. You don't need to manage the store's operations; you just need to collect your profits."

At this point, General Manager Hu suggested, "Shouldn't we sign a guarantee agreement stating that we'll recoup our investment within two years?"

Jiang Shuya chuckled silently;

"Mr. Hu, are you taking advantage of our lack of business experience? Nobody dares to sign a guarantee agreement with you. You own so many supermarkets, have you signed guarantee agreements with all your partners?"

Upon hearing this, General Manager Hu shook his head and pointed with his finger; "I have to say, I never realized you were such a shrewd person."

The group chatted happily. Huang Li hadn't seen her brother for a long time, and since they were finally able to get together, she booked a table at the hotel and enjoyed a satisfying meal.

Before leaving, Huang Li bought two pieces of clothing for Huang Minghao, but Huang Minghao refused them. However, Huang Li was so enthusiastic that Jiang Shuya felt embarrassed.
