Chapter 234 Come Home With Me

Upon hearing this, Li Xiaoru burst into tears, clutching Jiang Shuya's dress:

"Cousin, please don't send me away. I'll work hard and earn money to pay you back. I don't want to go back to my hometown; my dad will sell me."

Seeing Li Xiaoru's pitiful state, Wang Ziliang immediately went over to comfort her.

Jiang Shuya reached out to stop Wang Ziliang and said:

"Ziliang, I'm sorry. I apologize for my cousin's appalling behavior. I didn't understand her well enough. I advise you to break up with her; you two are not suitable."

"Cousin, why do you say she's terrible? All I did was buy her some clothes and shoes, and you're already telling me to break up with her."

Jiang Shuya, seeing that he seemed to have truly fallen for Li Xiaoru, said:

"Ziliang, she's of questionable character and doesn't deserve your kindness. She's not a good match for you. I know you're a responsible person, and you deserve better."

Seeing her cousin belittling her like that, Li Xiaoru looked aggrieved and said:

"Cousin, why are you the only one allowed to wear clothes costing tens of thousands of yuan, but I don't deserve them? Do you think you're a decent person? You cheated on your husband, you wronged him, and you make him unable to forget you. When it comes to seducing men, I'm definitely not as good as you."

Wang Ziliang, standing to the side, immediately retorted, "Xiaoru, don't talk about your cousin like that. She didn't cheat on you."

Li Xiaoru seemed to have found her courage, she sneered, and wiped the tears from her face:

"What kind of good person do you think she is? I heard her admit with my own ears to sleeping with other men, and she even said it in front of my brother-in-law. She's shameless! Selling her body to satisfy her vanity. Do you think she's rich? That outfit she gave me was worth tens of thousands of yuan. Wasn't it a gift from that other guy?"

Wang Ziliang couldn't listen any longer. He knew all too well about Jiang Shuya and Lin Moxiao's affair, and immediately lost face, saying:

"Xiaoru, how could you slander your cousin like that! She's the kindest person to you in Jinling. You said you liked her clothes, so I bought them for you. I also told you that we shouldn't compare ourselves to others; we should just be happy. Besides, Jiang Shuya isn't like what you're saying. You've gone too far."

After Wang Ziliang finished speaking, he left in disappointment. Jiang Shuhuai felt compassion for Li Xiaoru's words and asked:

"Sister, have you and your husband divorced? Everyone in Xixia Village is saying it."

Jiang Shuya sighed deeply; "Shuhuai, this is my matter, don't ask anymore."

Turning to look at Li Xiaoru, she was no longer as ferocious as before, and shrank back, saying:

"Cousin, I'm so sorry, I was just so angry that I said those things. Please don't send me away, please don't."

"Xiaoru, through your words, my situation has spread beyond Xixia Village, probably even to everyone you know at the mall. But I don't care anymore. Just sign the papers. Pay off all the debts within three months. Shuhuai's video recording will be kept. If you don't comply, we'll call the police immediately. Also, you have three days to move out of Xixia Village. You already know I'm divorced. That's Huang Minghao's home, so you should understand what it feels like to live under someone else's roof. Don't wait for Huang Minghao to kick you out himself."

After saying that, Jiang Shuya took out a pen and a notebook from her canvas bag, and asked Jiang Shuhuai to write the agreement and have Li Xiaoru sign and affix her fingerprint.

After doing all this, Jiang Shuya breathed a sigh of relief and said to Jiang Shuhuai:

"You should move in a few days too. I'll find you a place to stay in Hexi. Jiangdao is going to be demolished soon, and I'm going to negotiate the relocation in a few days."

However, for Jiang Shuhuai, his sister's divorce meant that he would have difficulty realizing his dream of owning the house.

As the two walked down the street, Jiang Shuhuai looked distressed. He thought back to a year ago when he and his father worked hard at his sister's house, sweating profusely for dozens of days, only to end up disappointed.

The siblings were both preoccupied with their own thoughts, and by the time they arrived at the shop, it was already evening.

Standing at the store entrance, Jiang Shuya spotted Lin Moxiao sitting in the store's floor-to-ceiling window. Remembering the day she slapped him, she was still shaken. Jiang Shuhuai, seeing his sister's surprised expression, followed closely behind.

Seeing Jiang Shuya enter, Lin Moxiao stood up and called out, "Shuya."

As he walked towards her step by step, Jiang Shuya's heart pounded with fear. Jiang Shuhuai saw that this man had an extraordinary temperament and remembered the bouquet of roses that morning, as well as the man that Li Xiaoru had mentioned.

"Xiaoya, come home with me. There are too many people here; it's not suitable for you to live here."

Lin Moxiao grabbed Jiang Shuya's arm as she spoke, but Jiang Shuhuai stopped her.

"Who are you, and why did you take my sister away?"

"Shuhuai, you should go back first. This is between him and me; don't interfere," Jiang Shuya said.

Jiang Shuhuai is a boy with very strong moral values, and he strongly disagrees with his sister's words:

"Sis, even if you're divorced from your husband, you can't be looking for another man right now! You know my mom, she'll never stop nagging you."

Jiang Shuya understood what her brother was talking about; it seemed that her brother valued the house on Jiang Island very much.

"Shuhuai, some things really can't be done as planned. What's not yours, you can't force. Just be patient for a few more years, and you'll have everything."

Jiang Shuhuai was confused by his sister's words. At this moment, Lin Moxiao spoke up and extended her hand:

"You must be Jiang Shuhuai. Your sister is now my woman. It's a pleasure to meet you."

"What nonsense are you talking about? My sister isn't yours. She has a family and children. That person isn't you." Jiang Shuhuai ignored his friendliness and suddenly became angry.
