The three arrived at the Dream Capital Residence. As soon as Jiang Shuhuai entered, he inexplicably began to look around. He visited every room and found that only the master bedroom had a bed and blankets. The other rooms had beds, but no blankets.
"Sister, you've been here before, haven't you?"
Jiang Shuya nodded in agreement.
"Mr. Lin, do you have any blankets? I need to remake my sister's bed."
Jiang Shuhuai walked into one of the bedrooms and looked around.
Lin Moxiao was somewhat displeased upon hearing this. After pondering for a moment, he said:
The new quilt is in the walk-in closet.
Jiang Shuhuai quickly went to the dressing room to get the quilt, went to the bedroom to straighten it, and turned to Jiang Shuya to say:
"Sister, you live here, I'm in the room right across from yours."
After saying that, he went to the room across the street, opened the door, sat down, and started playing games on his computer.
Jiang Shuya knew what her brother was thinking, so she didn't argue. She went to the bathroom to take a shower and then went into her room. When Jiang Shuhuai saw this, he closed his sister's door.
Lin Moxiao brought out a serving of fruit from the kitchen, walked to Jiang Shuya's door, and knocked; "Shuya, I washed some fruit, come out and have some."
At this moment, Jiang Shuhuai went over and took the fruit:
"My sister rarely eats at night, so give it to me. I'm a little thirsty and need to quench my thirst."
Lin Moxiao was furious, her anger blazing like stars:
"Can you stay in your room? I need to talk to your sister. Give us some privacy. I didn't invite you here to spy on me; this is my home."
Jiang Shuhuai took a grape, put it in his mouth, and said casually:
"I know what you're trying to do. Don't try to take advantage of my sister. As long as I'm here, you can forget about it."
A smile appeared on Lin Moxiao's face as he crossed his arms:
"You're young, but your thoughts are quite filthy. What do you think I would do to her? I want to talk to her alone. I just want her to be with me willingly. She has a knot in her heart, and only I can untie it."
Jiang Shuhuai remained indifferent, then picked up another cherry and put it in his mouth.
"Don't try to fool me. It's all about that between men and women. Don't think I don't know anything. Anyway, don't go into her room. From now on, I'm going to follow her every day. Wherever she goes, I go."
Lin Moxiao found it amusing:
"It seems you're fiercely protective of your sister. Do you really think you can be a match for me?"
Jiang Shuhuai scoffed at the clean-cut and refined man before him:
"What, you want to fight me? How about we have a spar? Are you brave enough to try?"
After hearing his words, Lin Moxiao began to rub his hands together, eager to try. Jiang Shuhuai put down the fruit plate he was holding and reached out with one hand:
"Let's keep it simple, how about an arm wrestling match?"
After saying that, the two went to the living room. Lin Moxiao directly reached out to meet the force of Jiang Shuhuai's wrist. The two froze on the spot, held their breath, stared intently at each other, and put all their strength into trying to defeat each other.
A moment later, Jiang Shuhuai's forehead veins bulged and cold sweat dripped down his face. Lin Moxiao pressed his hand hard on the table in one go, defeating his opponent.
Jiang Shuhuai was furious and unwilling to back down. He looked at the man in front of him with new respect. Taking advantage of the moment when Lin Moxiao was wiping his hands with a tissue, he took the opportunity to test his skills by throwing a punch. However, Lin Moxiao blocked it with his backhand. So he took another stance and swept his leg across the chest, kicking him in the abdomen. However, Lin Moxiao dodged to the side and was hit in the chest by a straight punch.
Jiang Shuhuai fell to the ground instantly, screaming in pain. Jiang Shuya, who was about to go to sleep in the room, heard her brother's cries and rushed out of the room.
"Shuhuai, Shuhuai, are you alright?" Jiang Shuya quickly helped Jiang Shuhuai, who was half-lying on the ground, up. Seeing his pained expression, she angrily shouted at Lin Moxiao:
Why did you hit him? What did you want to do?
Lin Moxiao was somewhat speechless, but remained composed:
"He attacked first. I was on guard, but I didn't expect him to be so arrogant and so easily defeated."
Jiang Shuya was furious and pounced on him, punching him repeatedly. Lin Moxiao stood there stiffly, not moving, letting her hit him without fighting back. Even Jiang Shuhuai couldn't stand it anymore. He didn't expect this man to be able to tolerate his sister's unreasonable behavior.
"Sis, I hit him first, please don't hit him anymore."
Jiang Shuya was held in Lin Moxiao's arms at this moment. He looked at her tenderly. He admitted that he had no resistance to the woman in front of him and loved all her strengths and weaknesses.
"I'm sorry, I've always hated it when people bully my brother. I hit you just now, and you didn't fight back. It must have hurt a lot." Jiang Shuya thought about how much pain her merciless punches must have hurt him.
He smiled nonchalantly; "It doesn't hurt, not at all. Why don't you try a few more times?"
Jiang Shuya angrily punched him again, but Lin Moxiao grabbed her wrist.
"Okay, stop arguing. Promise me you won't be angry anymore. Let's call it even. I said something hurtful yesterday, and you hit me too. Let's not hold it against each other. Let's be together and enjoy every day, every second."
After saying that, he hugged her tightly and kissed her hair.
Jiang Shuhuai stood aside, like a ghost, unable to accept the scene before him. Ignoring the pain in his chest, he stepped forward, grabbed Jiang Shuya, and pulled her into the room.
"Are you treating me like I don't exist? You, go to your room and go to sleep."
Jiang Shuhuai pushed his sister into the room, closed the door, stood at the doorway, and raised an eyebrow and smiled at Lin Moxiao.
