Jiang Shuya handed the gifts she brought to her mother-in-law, then slowly carried Tangtang toward the village entrance. Huang Minghao followed beside her, insisting on taking her to the village entrance. When Tangtang saw her father coming along, she cheered with joy. The little girl looked around in her mother's arms, thinking that her parents were taking her out to play together.
As Jiang Shuya reached the village entrance, she turned back and glanced at Huang Minghao:
"Okay, you can go back now. I'll bring Tangtang back in a couple of days. Don't worry, I'll take good care of her."
Huang Minghao remained silent, but his sharp eyes spotted a man with an extraordinary air getting out of a car not far away. He looked up and understood everything.
"Okay, I'm going back. Just take good care of Tangtang."
When Tangtang saw her father about to leave, her little hands immediately started flailing, and she opened her mouth to cry loudly, calling out incoherently, "Daddy, Daddy..."
Huang Minghao waved to her and comforted her with a smile:
"Don't cry, sweetie. Mommy will take you to a fun place. You'll be so happy!"
Lin Moxiao came to Jiang Shuya and stared at Tangtang carefully. Seeing Tangtang crying with tears in her eyes, she felt a little helpless.
Huang Minghao walked further and further away, and Tangtang's crying grew louder and louder.
"Wife, let me hug you." Lin Moxiao reached out her hand.
When Tangtang saw a strange uncle trying to hug her, she twisted her neck and tightly wrapped her little hands around Jiang Shuya's neck.
"She's not familiar with you yet, she needs time to adjust. Let's go! She'll be fine in a bit."
Jiang Shuya led Tangtang to the back seat. Lin Moxiao kept turning around to look at Tangtang's expression and gave the little girl a friendly smile. After getting in the car, Tangtang became quiet, her big eyes staring curiously at the unfamiliar uncle, her little head looking left and right.
The car quickly arrived at the children's playground. After getting out of the car, Lin Moxiao gave Tangtang a cartoon toy:
"Little friend, uncle has a gift for you. Can I hug you?"
Tangtang stared intently at the cartoon toy, reaching out to take it. Lin Moxiao took Tangtang from Jiang Shuya's hands, holding her soft and cuddly in his arms. The child had a milky fragrance that wafted over him, and with two little pigtails on her head, she looked like a little Nezha, very cute.
Tangtang stared at the doll for a while, then at Lin Moxiao, her little hands focused on picking at the doll's movable eyes.
Many rides at the amusement park were only for older children. They took Tangtang on the carousel and the pirate ship, then went boating at the observation deck. Jiang Shuya, wearing a life jacket, held Tangtang as they sat in the boat, while Lin Moxiao carefully manipulated the oars. Perhaps it was her first time rowing, as she was quite unprofessional; the boat swayed left and right, veering off course. Jiang Shuya broke out in a cold sweat, holding Tangtang tightly as the boat rocked back and forth.
"Lin Moxiao, do you really not know how to do this at all?"
Lin Moxiao turned around and gave a wry smile, feeling somewhat embarrassed. She had thought this would be simple, but she hadn't expected it to be so difficult to operate in practice.
"Honey, don't be afraid, it's not difficult. Let me study it more carefully; there must be some trick to it."
He was very patient, and his hands began to move incessantly, but the small boat just drifted on the water, showing no sign of moving.
After a long time, Jiang Shuya lost all patience:
"How about we call some staff over to help? This might not be something you can learn quickly."
Lin Moxiao's competitive spirit was instantly ignited:
"No need, wait a little longer, I will definitely get you ashore."
Jiang Shuya was speechless. Holding Tangtang, she sat on the boat with a look of utter despair, patiently rocking with the oars.
After a while, the small boat was finally able to move forward slowly, and Lin Moxiao danced with joy:
"Honey, I've figured it out! Just hold the oar to maintain balance and glide in the right direction, then pull back hard, keeping the rhythm and force consistent, and you can go your own way! Haha..."
He was beaming with joy and very excited. Before he could finish speaking, a gust of wind suddenly blew, and the small boat veered to the other side. Jiang Shuya almost fell into the water. She screamed in fright, but Lin Moxiao quickly grabbed her.
"Lin Moxiao, you scared me to death!"
Jiang Shuya suddenly got angry, and at that moment, Tangtang in her arms was so frightened that she started crying loudly.
Lin Moxiao was also very angry:
"You wanted to go boating, you said you hadn't done it in a long time, so I just learned how. How was I supposed to know this would turn out like this!"
Jiang Shuya's temper also flared up:
"How would I know you couldn't? I want to row because he can!"
She suddenly realized that the person in front of her was not Huang Minghao, and for a moment she became incoherent, so she simply fell silent and stopped talking.
Seeing her lower her head, Lin Moxiao turned away in repression and silently rowed hard. Soon they reached the shore. He reached out to take Tangtang, but Jiang Shuya, carrying Tangtang, got off the boat without paying any attention to him and walked ahead without saying a word. Lin Moxiao, carrying a baby food bag, followed closely behind.
"Wife, you must be tired. Let me hold Tangtang." He reached out, but Jiang Shuya still ignored him.
The two strolled around the amusement park for a while, one after the other. Jiang Shuya's arms started to ache from holding her for so long, so she decided to go straight home. Lin Moxiao, seeing that it was still early, suggested:
"Honey, the Lida Shopping Mall isn't far from here. Let's go to Kidswant and buy Tangtang a stroller. It's too tiring for you to carry her like this; it breaks my heart."
He looked distressed and went to her side to try to comfort her.
Jiang Shuya stopped and finally looked up at him:
