Chapter 219 Two Men

Jiang Shuya coldly laughed, "I'm very busy, I'm afraid I don't have time to help your family sell grapes."

Huang Minghao remained expressionless. Jiang Shuya knew that this man valued his pride most and would not easily lower himself to ask for favors, but she still wanted to witness another side of this man with her own eyes.

He exhaled smoke, and Jiang Shuya, smelling the smoke wafting towards her, grew somewhat impatient.

"Where has your charm gone at the drinking and card tables? Don't hide it, bring it out and use it!"

Huang Minghao threw his cigarette butt on the ground, stomped it out, and his eyes blazed with anger. "Jiang Shuya, what do you mean? Are you going to help her or not? Give me a straight answer. Are you planning to never see Tangtang again?"

Upon hearing this, Jiang Shuya immediately retorted.

"Huang Minghao, are you even a man? Using Tangtang to threaten me? Let me tell you, Tangtang is almost two years old. In one year, I'll have custody of her. Aren't you afraid that then I'll make sure you never see your daughter again?"

Huang Minghao sneered, exasperated:

"Don't even think about it. A woman as shameless as you, I would never entrust Tangtang to you, much less stand by and watch her become like you, fickle and promiscuous."

Jiang Shuya found it laughable and rubbed her forehead.

"Do you intend to inherit your family's bad habits—lazy, gluttonous, and addicted to gambling, just like your mother, a master at playing cards, invincible throughout the island?"

Huang Minghao laughed instead of getting angry:

"Hmph, even so, she's still better than a shameless piece of trash like you."

Sun Qi was in the store, constantly greeting customers as they entered. Standing at the cashier, he kept scanning outside. When he saw a car parked on the street, it was Lin Moxiao. His heart skipped a beat.

A cold voice came from behind Jiang Shuya: "Who are you calling shameless?"

Jiang Shuya turned around and saw Lin Moxiao, whom she hadn't seen for several days, standing behind her. He was wearing an elegant and well-fitting casual suit and holding a bouquet of roses.

Huang Minghao raised the corner of his mouth slightly; "Who are you? What business is it of yours what we're talking about?"

Lin Moxiao shoved the bouquet into Jiang Shuya's arms and pulled her arm around her shoulder; "You're divorced, she's mine now."

Huang Minghao seemed to recognize the man he had glanced at unintentionally. He pondered for a moment, narrowed his eyes, and then, having made up his mind, asked, "You're the man who slept with my wife, aren't you?"

Lin Moxiao reached out and stopped him; 'Let me correct you, she's not your wife anymore, she's mine now. You're not good enough for her.'

Huang Minghao clenched his fists, his nails digging into his flesh, and he was furious.

"What did you say? Say it again! You dare sleep with my woman, Huang Minghao? Are you looking for death?"

Just as a fight was about to break out, Jiang Shuya pushed Lin Moxiao, and the bouquet in her hand fell to the ground.

"Huang Minghao, what's the purpose of your visit today? You brought two pots of flowers; are you here to congratulate me? Are you deliberately trying to cause trouble in front of my store? This is my first day of business, and I don't want things to escalate yet. Don't go too far."

Ignoring everything else, Huang Minghao pointed at Lin Moxiao and said, "If you dare to mess with my wife again, don't blame me for being ruthless."

A strange smile appeared on Lin Moxiao's face. He took off his watch, loosened his collar, and stretched his muscles, adopting a training stance. He then beckoned with his finger.

"Come on, I haven't had anyone to spar with in a long time. You seem pretty skilled; let me see what you're made of."

Jiang Shuya turned around and angrily shouted, "Lin Moxiao, didn't you hear me? It's my first day of business, and you're trying to cause trouble!"

Lin Moxiao raised an eyebrow and glanced at her, a look of distress flashing across his face:

"This matter must be resolved today. You keep thinking about him, and I can't sleep at night. These past few days without you by my side, I've had nightmares again. Do you know how much I've gotten used to sleeping with you in my arms? Don't worry, if this shop doesn't exist, I'll open another one for you later."

At this point, Huang Minghao, his face dark the whole time, shoved Jiang Shuya aside and threw a punch at Lin Moxiao's face. He hadn't had time to dodge because he had said something to Jiang Shuya. Jiang Shuya was pushed aside, her leg hitting the uneven stone bricks on the ground. She gritted her teeth, clutching her knee and standing up in pain. Lin Moxiao ignored the pain on his face, came to her side, and pried her hand away. His knee was covered in a layer of skin, and blood was seeping out.

He hurriedly pulled a handkerchief from his pocket; "You clean this up first, I'll take care of this mess."

Seeing this, Huang Minghao threw another punch, but Lin Moxiao blocked it. He then kicked Huang Minghao in the stomach with a backhand and punched him again with his hands and feet. The two immediately started fighting. Lin Moxiao kept attacking with his backhand, but Huang Minghao's fists were very hard. Before long, both of them had bruises on their faces.

Sun Qi ran out of the store and grabbed Huang Minghao; "Brother Hao, don't fight anymore! You can't beat this guy. He's trained. Back then, Huang Tao and those other criminals weren't a match for him."

Huang Minghao frowned deeply upon hearing this, panting heavily. He had never lost a fight in his entire life, and in their recent head-on confrontation, he hadn't gained the upper hand at all. But he was unconvinced, his eyes blazing with barely contained fury.

"So you've been eyeing my wife for a long time, haven't you two been having an affair for ages?"

He turned to Jiang Shuya and roared, "Jiang Shuya, is this the reason you're divorcing me? You slept with him while I was away, didn't you?"

Jiang Shuya gritted her teeth, clutched her knee, and glanced at him sideways:

"It's your fault that I'm divorcing you. You ignored me. You've been back for a month and haven't said more than ten words to me. I see no hope. You're nice to everyone else, but you ignore me. You can't forget that Ren Jing died for you. You feel guilty and vent your frustrations on me, thinking I'm the reason you lost Ren Jing. Don't you ever think that it's your inability to control yourself that led to this terrible mistake?"

Hearing this, Huang Minghao fell silent, gritting his teeth as his fists clenched so tightly they cracked.

Lin Moxiao wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth. The punch he'd thrown earlier, when he wasn't expecting it, had been quite heavy. He gritted his teeth and said:

"Did you hear that? You didn't cherish her. Don't blame her for leaving you. Let me tell you, she should have been mine five years ago. I was a pilot, training at the base, in closed training. When I came out, she was already married. I wondered which lucky man was so fortunate to marry her. Later, I went to Nanjing and heard she was doing very poorly. I knew then that my chance had come. I should thank you for letting go."

Huang Minghao gritted his teeth in anger and gave a sinister smile:

"You son of a bitch, are you trying to tell me you two are a match made in heaven, trying to cover up the mistakes this shameless woman has made?"

After saying that, the two started fighting again, neither willing to give in. They were locked in a fierce struggle. Seeing that she couldn't separate them, Sun Qi called over several of the shop's chefs and employees, who managed to pull the two people, who had known each other for less than two minutes but already harbored a deep-seated hatred for each other, apart.
