Chapter 154 Divorce Agreement

The next day, Jiang Shuya went to the Mengdu Street Law Firm and spent two hundred yuan to consult on some legal knowledge related to divorce. She explained her current situation to the professional lawyer, and the conclusion was almost the same as her guess.

The lawyer suggested a table-of-seat negotiation, sitting down for in-depth communication. Because it involved the distribution of demolition assets and child custody, Jiang Shuya was extra cautious. She listed her demands one by one, found a staff member to help her draft a divorce agreement, and took the agreement back to Xixia Village.

I didn't see Huang Minghao at home, and I called him several times but no one answered.

Suppressing her anger, Jiang Shuya made several calls to acquaintances, finally finding out that Huang Minghao was playing cards at Li Xiaohua's house. Jiang Shuya then rushed to Li Xiaohua's house by the river.

In the west room of the backyard, she saw several men playing cards. The room was filled with smoke. She recognized most of them: Zheng Jia's husband, Cao Gang, and Li Xiaohua's husband, A Jing. They were playing cards with great enthusiasm. Zheng Jia sat next to her husband and watched with great interest.

Jiang Shuya entered and gave Huang Minghao a cold look. The group was initially surprised, but then realized that the newcomer was aggressive and had a pale face.

The next second, realizing that Jiang Shuya was not in a good state, Huang Minghao, with a cigarette in his mouth, glanced at Jiang Shuya nonchalantly.

"What are you doing here? Where did you come from? Go back to where you came from."

Zheng Jia, unable to stand it any longer, retorted directly, "Huang Minghao, what are you saying? It's the New Year!"

The group greeted Jiang Shuya with friendly smiles.

"Huang Minghao, I want to talk to you. It'll be quick, and won't take up too much of your time." Jiang Shuya didn't want to wait a moment longer.

The group looked at Jiang Shuya again. Seeing her serious expression, they assumed something had happened that she couldn't say in person, so they suggested that Huang Minghao go and deal with the important matter first.

"What could possibly happen between us? It's broad daylight, and I don't want to do anything."

Huang Minghao had a sly look on his face, Zheng Jia's husband actually let out a "pfft" laugh, and the others also smiled knowingly.

Jiang Shuya seemed to have been provoked, and shouted loudly;

"Huang Minghao, if you refuse to negotiate at the table, then I'll have no choice but to take legal action and file for divorce!"

The next moment, the group turned around in unison, looking at Jiang Shuya in surprise, who was staring angrily at Huang Minghao.

Huang Minghao stood up angrily, threw away the cigarette butt in his mouth, overturned the mahjong set that had just been laid out in front of him, and said fiercely to Jiang Shuya.

"What a disappointment, what a shameless woman."

Jiang Shuya didn't argue with him, and said coldly;

"Should we sit down and negotiate? Give me a straight answer; my patience has an expiration date."

Huang Minghao pulled out the table, ignoring the concerned looks from his childhood friends, and walked up to Jiang Shuya, shoving her with a fierce look in his eyes.

"Say that again and see what happens, or I'll make sure you leave here straddling a chair!"

Jiang Shuya, who almost tripped, turned and left without looking back. Several childhood friends comforted Huang Minghao, urging him not to do anything he would regret and to hurry up and chase after her.

The two returned home one after the other. The old man and his mother, Tangtang, were not home. Jiang Shuya took out the contract from her canvas bag, placed it on the living room table, and sat down.

He pushed the divorce papers in front of Huang Minghao and got straight to the point;

"This is the divorce agreement, in duplicate. Take a look at the terms, and if you have no objections, sign it!"

Huang Minghao glanced at the contract, but didn't open it. His eyes were filled with anger, and he snorted coldly.

"No matter what the terms are, Tangtang won't give them to you. You won't get a single penny of the future demolition compensation for my house. If you want a divorce, fine, I have no objection, but you have to leave with nothing, and I'll sign the papers without hesitation."

Looking at Huang Minghao's shameless face, Jiang Shuya really wanted to slap him. She bit her red lips.

"Impossible. I've already consulted a lawyer. If that building on Dageng is demolished, half of the compensation will go to me. I paid for it to be built. You're getting half for free; that's already cheap enough for you. Besides, you said before that you didn't want Tangtang and agreed to give me custody, on the condition that I return the 60,000 yuan dowry. I can now repay that dowry, so please don't go back on your word."

Huang Minghao chuckled twice, sat on the wooden sofa, crossed his legs, casually took out a cigarette case from his pocket, and lit a cigarette.

"Shouldn't you explain to me where the 30,000 yuan you gave back to Grandpa came from? I'm still your husband in name only, don't you have the right to know?"

Jiang Shuya immediately guessed that Huang Minghao must have heard about Huang Tao's matter. She pursed her lips; "Since you've already heard about it, why are you asking me?"

Even without the tens of thousands of yuan reward for reporting her, Jiang Shuya was capable of repaying the money. She just didn't want to explain so much to the person in front of her, believing that it would be pointless to say anything more.

"When did you start hooking up with Sun Qi?" Huang Minghao took a deep drag on his cigarette, and the air quickly filled with smoke.

Jiang Shuya glanced at him coldly, unwilling to offer any further explanation;

"I have absolutely no connection with Sun Qi. Reporting Huang Tao was my sole action and has nothing to do with him."

She paused for a moment and then said;

"The terms and conditions are as follows: I will have custody of Tangtang, I will receive half of the demolition compensation from Dageng, and you will need to pay Tangtang 1,000 yuan per month for living expenses until she turns 18."

Huang Minghao stood up, reeking of smoke, and approached Jiang Shuya;

"Really? You're protecting him so quickly? So eager to divorce me, is it because you want to get back into his arms as soon as possible?"

Jiang Shuya, you're really cunning! You want to get some compensation from me, then swindle some from Sun Qi. That kid's simple-minded; he grew up following me around. You actually want to ruin him? Are you looking for trouble?

After saying that, he stubbed out his cigarette, grabbed Jiang Shuya, and dragged her upstairs.

Jiang Shuya grabbed the stair railing with one hand and struggled to break free. Huang Minghao stepped forward, grabbed her around the waist, and picked her up horizontally, a wicked smile on his face.

"You want a divorce? Fine, I haven't had enough fun yet. Today I'm going to make you pay double."

He quickly carried Jiang Shuya to the bedroom bed, kicked the door shut, pounced on her, hurriedly took off his clothes, and pressed Jiang Shuya down hard.

Jiang Shuya looked at the extremely angry man in front of her in a panic. The face that she had once been infatuated with was now distorted.

This person was a complete stranger to her. She resisted with all her might, twisting her body constantly. He gripped her wrist tightly, about to break it. She screamed in pain, but her hands were no match for his strength.

Huang Minghao saw Jiang Shuya looking at him with utter despair, her eyes filled with terror, tears welling up as she sobbed, her whole body trembling.

He stopped struggling futilely, his hands stopped moving, he glanced at his injured wrist, buried his head in Jiang Shuya's neck, and inhaled the fragrance emanating from her body.
