Chapter 109 Tie it up

Ye Yunyi stood tall and straight, her hair tied up in a high ponytail, looking energetic. The light shone on her, as if gilding her with a golden glow. She wore a simple tracksuit, the fitted cut showcasing her agile figure.

She carried an arrow on her back, its fletching gleaming coldly, as if proclaiming her courage and determination. A gun was tucked at her waist, its blade radiating a chilling aura, giving her an air of authority.

Her steps were firm and powerful, each one filled with confidence and decisiveness. Her eyes were focused and sharp, as if they could pierce through any obstacle. She was a vibrant and determined person, ready to meet any challenge.

She was completely different from the gentle woman with long hair and always wearing dresses. She walked in leading a group of people, and with a wave of her hand, everyone obeyed her commands. Her eyes were more resolute. Liu Yanran stared blankly, almost unable to recognize her.

When Ye Yunyi saw her and Wang Zixiang, she smiled sweetly and called out, "Yanran." Then she opened her arms.

With tears in her eyes, Liu Yanran threw herself into Ye Yunyi's arms. Ye Yunyi patted her back and said, "It's so good that you're alright."

"Yes, I'm so glad to see you." Liu Yanran replied.

The two reminisced as they walked inside.

Upon seeing the grandly decorated hall, Ye Yunyi and Liu Yanran sat down on the expensive sofa, and Liu Yanran went to fetch some food and drinks.

In no time, they had bound all the armed personnel except the civilians and brought them to the hall. Liu Da and Liu Er were no exception; they were simply thrown onto the sofa, while the others were piled on the carpet.

The lobby wasn't cold because the air conditioning was on, and the medicine was working quite well; they still hadn't woken up.

"Sister, all the armed men have been brought here. The civilians are being held in the civilian area and are being guarded. The patients who are still receiving treatment and in isolation are still in their original places and are being watched over," Zhao Yong reported.

"Well done, really great!" Ye Yunyi praised.

Since that's the case, everyone go get some food and drinks, and we'll wait here for them to wake up.

The brothers who came along had been eyeing the supplies for a long time while they were tying people up, and with Ye Yunyi's instructions, they didn't hold back. Wang Weifeng led them to get food, introducing it as they went: "This is delicious, this is nutritious, this is really expensive." The brothers who came along didn't just think of themselves, but also gave some food to the brothers on guard duty.

Wang Zixiang remembered Hu Cheng and put him on the sofa as well.

"When will they wake up?" Liu Yanran asked.

"Oh, to be on the safe side, I used a pretty strong dose of medicine. They probably won't wake up until tomorrow morning. If you really need them to wake up earlier, you can splash some water on them," Wang Zixiang explained.

After Wang Weifeng led everyone to collect their belongings, he poked his head out from the crowd and said to Ye Yunyi, "Sister-in-law, you guys keep eating, I'm going to go loot weapons."

"Go ahead," Ye Yunyi replied with a smile.

"Sister, I'm going too." Zhao Yong said and walked over.

Some people in the crowd were more enthusiastic about weapons than about food, stuffing the food in their hands into their mouths and muttering, "Wait for me, I want to go too."

As soon as they finished speaking, a bunch of people rushed off, leaving only a few sitting there slowly eating.

Seeing how they interacted, Liu Yanran was stunned. "Your team is so friendly."

"Yes, they were all carefully selected and trained by Zhao Yong and Xiao Deng. They're like family."

Xiao Deng, standing next to her, smiled shyly and said, "It's all thanks to Sister Yiyi's excellent leadership."

"Xiao Deng, come and eat something, what are you standing there for?" Ye Yunyi smiled and handed him a plate of braised meat.

"I'll protect Sister Yiyi," Xiao Deng replied with a smile, taking the plate and putting some food into her mouth with her chopsticks. While eating, she said, "Mmm, delicious, not bad."

After chatting with Liu Yanran for a while, Ye Yunyi asked Xiao Deng to guard the people here and check again whether they were properly tied up, whether they had weapons, and whether anyone was faking unconsciousness. Liu Yanran then led Ye Yunyi on a tour of the entire prison and gave her explanations.

Unfortunately, they couldn't open Liu Da's office; there must be a lot of documents inside.

“He keeps all his keys to himself; he doesn’t keep them on his person or in the house, so they’re really hard to find,” Liu Yanran said.

"It's alright, there's always a way to get him to open it himself once he's awake." Ye Yunyi didn't seem to care.

After touring the prison and seeing its layout and supplies, Ye Yunyi felt that coming here was definitely the right decision.

Upon arriving at the armory, they saw everyone busily moving weapons. Although the weapons here couldn't compare to what they had found in the previous armory, the quantity was still considerable.

Everyone loaded all the weapons, most of the food and medicine onto the truck, and Xiao Qin led the men to haul it back to Jiangyue Community overnight.

The remaining 20 men, having eaten and drunk their fill, took turns keeping watch and resting. At 5 a.m., Liu Er was the first to wake up. "Damn it, that son of a bitch, he's got some nerve, hasn't he?..." Liu Er cursed impatiently before even opening his eyes.

When he saw that he and Liu Da were tied to the sofa, and a group of his underlings were tied to the floor, he immediately shut up and yelled, "Damn it, who did this? Did they raid our place?"

Ye Yunyi walked up to him with a smile and said, "Hello, I've stolen your house."

"It's you, you..." Liu Er uttered in a language that resembled a mosaic.

"Haha, it's us! Aren't you happy? Surprised?" Xiao Deng also came up to him.

"Damn it..." Liu Er really knows how to curse. After his tirade, everyone gradually woke up.

Upon realizing their predicament, they launched into another round of cursing and screaming, but when they saw the gunmen standing next to them, they wisely shut up.

Ye Yunyi didn't stop Liu Er's cursing. He had been yelling and shouting for a while, and his mouth was already dry. Seeing that Ye Yunyi was just smiling at him, he finally shut up.

From Liu Er's curses, Liu Da roughly guessed that Ye Yunyi and her group were the same people they had clashed with last time. Wang Zixiang, standing beside Ye Yunyi, also realized that they were all in cahoots; he had been tricked by Wang Weifeng and Wang Zixiang. Even Liu Yanran was standing next to the classically beautiful but dashingly dressed woman, and he secretly resented her betrayal. But he knew he was currently at a disadvantage and had to endure it.

He let Liu Er curse him, his mind racing to figure out what to do. Seeing that Liu Er's cursing had stopped, he grinned and began to negotiate: "May I ask which hero you are?"

Ye Yunyi smiled at him but didn't say anything.

Liu Da was not discouraged and said, "Now that we have fallen into the hands of a hero, whatever the hero wants, just say the word. Just spare our worthless lives."

"Oh, Boss Liu is very generous, but what if I want both your things and my life?" Ye Yunyi said with a smile.
