Chapter 44: Opening of the Shop~(2/2)

"You, you really trade food here? Do you only accept gold?"

Liu Lili: "Precious metals are fine. The current exchange rate is 50g for one pack of compressed biscuits."

The man swallowed and took out a plastic bag from the inner pocket of his coat. There were several gold bars in it, weighing exactly 50g in total, big and small.

The man stared at Liu Lili the whole time, fearing that she would take the gold without giving him food. He was so nervous that he was sweating.

After confirming the weight, Liu Lili handed the compressed biscuits out of the window.

The man hurriedly took it, opened the biscuit immediately, and took a big bite. He ate it so voraciously, as if he hadn't eaten for more than ten days.

After taking a few bites, the man didn't dare to eat anymore because there were other people coming here either swimming or riding other water vehicles.

He quickly hid the remaining cookies and paddled away in a panic, fearing that someone would snatch his food away.

Liu Lili then made three more transactions and gained 300g of precious metals. One of the transactions involved 200g of gold and silver jewelry, which was obviously pooled from several families.

Liu Lili asked a few more questions and found out that the four people who came today were all from Lanwan Community.

It seems that when I brought Qi Hao back that day, I also promoted the Pure Land Shop.

Half an hour later, Liu Lili placed two more orders.

But the total amount of the two orders was only about 50g, and the two people only got half a pack of compressed biscuits, but it was enough for them to cry with joy.

Liu Lili looked sad and felt even more grateful for her luck. If it weren't for Shi Man, her and her brother's fate would have been worse than these people.

But the next person who came made Liu Lili feel worse.

This person's spirit and energy were obviously different from the previous ones. He didn't look like someone who had been hungry for a long time and was desperate. He was sitting on an exaggerated flamingo swimming ring.

After coming over, he started looking around at the window where Liu Lili was, and his eyes kept drifting towards the closed door.

Liu Lili looked unhappy and her expression darkened. "Do you want to trade or not?"

The man chuckled and said, "Transaction, of course it's a transaction." He slowly touched his pocket, but kept saying, "Little sister, are you the only one in this store?"

"What's with the wall next to you? I've never seen a wall like this in an urban village before."

"Life is tough these days. Your price is too high. Can you give me a discount?" This chapter has been read (please click on the next chapter to continue reading!)
