Zhuang Weifeng had someone keep watch at a distance while he went to check where the supplies were hidden. Fortunately, everything was there, and he breathed a sigh of relief.
Without lingering for long, Zhuang Weifeng cleaned up the traces he had left behind and left with his men.
He had to rush back before the Qin family discovered anything amiss, to take his people and supplies with him. Without his uncle, Zhuang Weifeng knew very well that he wouldn't get any benefits from the Qin family.
However, when he and his men secretly returned to the Qin family from the back mountain, they quickly realized that something was wrong. The basement was open, the guards were gone, and all his women were gone. This made Zhuang Weifeng, who wanted to act secretly, realize that the Qin family had acted before him.
Zhuang Weifeng glanced at the law enforcement officers patrolling outside, considered for a moment, and then quietly led his men toward Qin Mingyue's room. Their men had already found out that Qin Lisen had left with his men early in the morning, and the only person they could capture now was Qin Mingyue.
He now even suspects that the Qin family might have been involved in his uncle's accident; otherwise, why would they have acted against his people so quickly? Don't they care about their own family members?
There were two guards at the door of Qin Mingyue's room. When Zhuang Weifeng heard his subordinate's report, he frowned. The Qin family was very vigilant now. What had they done or what did they know?
Xiao Yi had been in the Zuo family's warehouse for over an hour. Apart from asking the guards a few questions at the beginning, he hadn't said a word since, but had instead carefully inspected the surrounding area.
The next thing he did was instruct his men to look for clues and traces, while he found a place to sit down and watched everyone's activities, lost in thought.
