Moreover, those who fall ill are mostly people who need to go out to work or work on the ground floor of underground buildings. People who are well-off and can stay in their underground dwellings without going out are fine.
However, the largest group consists of ordinary people who need to work. By the time the management discovered the situation, the number of infected patients in the shelter had already reached several hundred, and the number was still growing.
These people who fell ill were in so much pain that they developed violent tendencies and began attacking normal people and guards. Qiu Feng's brothers were separated while dealing with these matters, and then they were all taken down by people arranged by the boss and people in the shelter who worked together from the inside.
After Qiu Feng led his men into the shelter, he sensed something was wrong. It was too late to leave. The other side once again used their brothers to force them to surrender. However, after their previous experience of being taken prisoner, they had already held a meeting and decided that in the future, whenever they were threatened in such a way, they must resist to the end and would rather die than be taken prisoner.
Five people drove into the shelter, fighting and running all the way. Eventually, the car was wrecked and they were running out of bullets, so they abandoned the car and hid all over the city. Finally, they jumped into a sewer and ran around looking for an exit.
In the end, they didn't find the exit, but they encountered a group of people trying to escape capture. Among them were patients and normal people, the normal people being the patients' family members.
The shelter is going to take all the patients away. They don't know where they'll be sent. But in their experience, anyone who's taken away never comes back.
So their families led them into the sewers. The patients consciously huddled together, keeping a distance from their families, who in turn protected them from a distance and helped them find a way out.
Qiu Feng and his group, armed with guns, encountered these people. Having been hungry for a day and a half, they borrowed some rations from them and inquired about information about the shelter.
The five brothers huddled together. Qiu Feng said, "We don't have many bullets left. We can't fight them head-on. We have to find a way to break through and rejoin our brothers in town. Otherwise, I'm afraid that if we're too late, our men will fall into that boss's hands again."
What Qiu Feng didn't say was that if they fell into that person's hands again, it would be impossible for them to regain their freedom. No normal person would let themselves be caught in the same place twice.
