When she was with Gao Ren, Li Zhenzhen could still experience some happiness, but that was all.

Gao Ren knew Li Zhenzhen was unwilling and that she was wearing a mask, but he enjoyed having such a beautiful woman in his hands and playing with her.
Li Zhenzhen's neck was being gripped by Gao Ren. One of her hands was still tightly covering Gao Ren's mouth, while the dagger that had sprung out from her other hand slashed viciously across Gao Ren's neck once again.
Gao Ren's pupils dilated suddenly, and after a moment, he finally stopped breathing. Li Zhenzhen pulled his hand off his neck, took a slight breath, and began to quickly tidy herself up.
Li Zhenzhen piled all the blood-splattered clothes next to her onto Gao Ren's neck, cleaned the blood off her face and body, and took out a clean set of clothes from her bag to change into.
After adjusting Gao Ren's body and wiping it casually, Li Zhenzhen dressed him in clothes. This process made her sweat quite a bit.
Li Zhenzhen has always known what she wants. She may be greedy, ruthless, and cold-hearted, but she also knows clearly what kind of person is worth relying on and what kind of life she wants.
Gao Ren's feelings for her were well understood. She was already over forty and past her prime; she wouldn't entrust her future to a man who only coveted her body and looks.

"It's over so quickly? Isn't our captain amazing?" one of them teased Li Zhenzhen.
This is how Gao Ren's men treat Li Zhenzhen. Even though she became Gao Ren's woman, these men didn't give her much respect. At most, they didn't actually bully her.
“Gao Ren told me to bring Mo Bao’er into this room as well. He wants the hostage to stay under his watchful eye,” Li Zhenzhen said in a slightly hoarse voice.
Without any suspicion, the two kicked open the door next door, went in, and pulled Mo Bao'er out. Chen Jiaojiao followed behind, carrying Mo Bao'er's mattress.
Besides her and Mo Bao'er, there were four or five men in the room. Since Mo Bao'er had left, she naturally couldn't stay inside any longer.
Upon seeing Li Zhenzhen, Chen Jiaojiao hurriedly ran over. The sky was dim, and she didn't pay attention to Li Zhenzhen's expression, but simply asked in a low voice, "Why did you bring Mo Bao'er out?"
Li Zhenzhen ignored Chen Jiaojiao, but caught Mo Bao'er who was being pushed over and said to her, "Be good, Gao Ren is tired and just fell asleep. Don't disturb him."
Mo Bao'er met Li Zhenzhen's gaze and nodded silently. Chen Jiaojiao pursed her lips but didn't say anything more.
The three women entered the room. Li Zhenzhen closed the door. A candle was burning inside. Chen Jiaojiao saw Gao Ren lying down and kept a distance. She found a corner, put down her cushion, and sat down casually.
Li Zhenzhen led Mo Bao'er to the other side and whispered, "He's dead. We need to find a way to tie Jiao Jiao up in a bit. That girl is stupid, and I'm afraid she'll be scared and mess things up."
Mo Bao'er sat on the ground, and Li Zhenzhen took the opportunity to cut the ropes on her hands and feet, and placed Gao Ren's pistol next to her.
