The layout of Zhang's supermarket consists of four storefronts facing the road in the front. Two of them are open shops, while the other two are always piled with goods and serve as warehouses. Behind them is a large courtyard with a large shed also set up and filled with goods.
The two rooms on the second floor of the storefront were converted into two one-bedroom apartments for their two sons and daughters-in-law to live in when they came back. There was a wall on the north side, and the other two sides were two-story residential buildings, with a canopy built on the third floor.
The Zhang family has a strong sense of security. Not only is the courtyard wall very high, but there are also surveillance cameras installed in the yard and in front of and behind the house. Even with jammers and signal jammers on, Li Ke still carefully avoids the surveillance cameras.
She sneaked into the bedroom where the Zhang couple slept, first knocking Zhang Tao unconscious with a slap. Zhang Tao's wife heard the noise and had just opened her eyes when she was also slapped, and the couple lay flat on the floor together.
Li Ke covered both of their heads and tied them up, gagged them tightly to prevent them from waking up and shouting.
Then she turned on Zhang Tao's phone and turned off all the external surveillance cameras. Next, she moved the large bed that Zhang Tao and his wife had slept on. Yes, she moved it by lifting her hand. Li Ke disliked the bed that the two people had slept on and didn't want to put it into her space.
The couple has two sons and a daughter. Both sons are married and have bought houses in the city, while their daughter is studying at a university. Usually, it's just the two of them at home. Li Ke, on the other hand, is often asked to work at the gas station by the couple, so he is quite familiar with the place.
After moving the large bed aside, Li Ke began to peel back the floorboards. Underneath the floorboards was a layer of bricks, and under the bricks was a row of thick wooden planks. Underneath the wooden planks was a safe more than a meter long, which Li Ke reached out and put into his spatial storage.
Zhang Tao and his wife were still asleep when Li Ke went out and pulled the power switch for the Zhang family. Then he went into the front storefront and began a massive buying spree, taking everything the Zhang family had brought in.
After finishing with the supermarket, Li Ke dismantled all the surveillance cameras installed by the Zhang family, smashed them to pieces along with the Zhang couple's cell phones, and threw them into the fire she had started in the kitchen stove.
After finishing all that, the Zhang couple also made a move. Li Ke turned on the loudspeaker, picked up Zhang Tao, and said in his ear, "You beast, you dare to take advantage of my woman. Today is a small lesson for you. If you dare to call the police, we will kill your whole family."
The words were played through a voice changer, and the deep male voice carried the coldness and chill of the machine, which even Li Ke himself found unsettling.
Zhang Tao couldn't make a sound, and with his head covered, he couldn't see anything. He was terrified. He listened to the warning that didn't sound like a human's, and nodded repeatedly while trembling.
Zhang Tao's wife, lying on the ground, was also trembling and whimpering softly, but dared not make any big movements.
Remembering the lecherous old man's past harassment, Li Ke pinned him against the wardrobe next to her, cut the bindings on his hands, placed his hands on the wardrobe, and, taking the fruit knife she found at the Zhang family's house, stabbed it into his palm.
She had long wanted to cripple this man's hands; she didn't have the chance in her past life, but now she was getting her revenge.
Zhang Tao whimpered in pain, trembling even more violently. Li Ke heard the sound, looked down, and was so frightened that he wet himself.
She took a step back in disgust, then pulled Zhang Tao's wife up from the ground and punched her in the back of the head again, knocking her unconscious again after she had only been awake for a short while.
Having learned from his past life of hitting people, Li Ke was very careful with his actions. At most, the unconscious person would feel dizzy and nauseous when they woke up. Currently, Li Ke did not want to cause any deaths.
Li Ke untied Zhang Tao's wife, leaving her lying on the ground with her head covered and mouth gagged. He checked the time; it was almost 3 a.m.
She quickly left the Zhang family's house, ran out of town, took out her motorcycle, and sped back.
On the way there and back, Li Ke chose back roads with few surveillance cameras. After entering the city, Li Ke found another place to change cars and clothes. By the time he arrived near the villa, it was almost five o'clock.
Before five o'clock, Li Ke climbed into her room, lay back on her bed, calmed her excited heartbeat, and then got up to pick up the wardrobe on the floor and put it back in its place.
After the excitement came fatigue and satisfaction. Li Ke changed his clothes, took his pajamas, and went to Chen Zhizhi's room to take a shower.
The rooms of the Li family's children are never locked when no one is around, so that it is convenient for the servants to clean them. This cleaning work has been done by Li Ke since she entered the Chen family.
After washing up, Li Ke went straight back to her room and went to sleep. The Chen family members were still asleep, and no one noticed what Li Ke was doing.
As usual, Chen Jiaojiao knocked on Li Ke's door in the morning: "Sister, are you going to school today? Should I wait for you?"
Li Ke, lying on the bed, shouted back, "I'm not going, don't bother me."
Hearing this from outside the door, Chen Jiaojiao's face darkened for a moment before she immediately turned around and went downstairs.
Just like her mother said, Li Ke has given up on the college entrance examination now, and she won't amount to much in the future. She should focus on the college entrance examination right now. As for Li Ke, there will be plenty of time to deal with her later.
After Chen Jiaojiao finished eating, she and her younger brother took the car to school. After the two children left, Chen Niansheng told his parents about the plan to hire another nanny for the family.
Upon hearing this, Grandpa Chen spoke without hesitation, saying, "We should have hired someone a long time ago. Xiao Zheng has to take care of me and do housework. I feel exhausted just looking at her. If we're going to hire someone else, we should find someone young, dignified, and strong who can take better care of things at home. This would also make things easier for Xiao Zheng and Xiao Chen. Xiao Ke is still a child, and it's not right to keep making her do things for us."
