Chapter 325 Giant Serpent

Many of the strange fish that were stuck to the hull were also put into Li Ke's space. Once inside the space, it was much easier for Li Ke to deal with these things.

The strange fish, having lost their water, soon fell to the ground, wriggling and gasping for breath.

Li Ke exited the submarine and threw all the fish into the mutated fish pool in her space. Soon, the fish began to churn rapidly. Li Ke stood by and watched their battle for a while before donning some camouflaged diving equipment, grabbing a sharp blade, and leaving the space.

The exotic plants, having lost their grip on the yacht, stretched out in the water and began to attack Li Ke the moment she appeared, trying to strangle her.

Li Ke brandished his sharp blade, activated the booster, and quickly rose towards the surface of the water. After cutting through several branches and vines, Li Ke finally broke through the strange plant forest and got more than twenty meters closer to the water.

A strange fish swam towards her. Li Ke threw out an injured and bleeding fish, which immediately attracted the fish to another place. She continued to move upwards, towards the surface of the water.

Emerging from the water, Li Ke released a light blue float, and Li Ke, also disguised in the same way, climbed onto the float.

Taking out his binoculars, Li Ke began to survey his surroundings. After circling around for a while, he finally spotted the giant ship, which looked quite far away.

Having switched to a submarine, this time they were almost skimming the surface of the water. Although there were still strange fish attacking, Li Ke would swim to the outer deck depending on the situation. He would put the ones that posed too great a threat into his spatial storage, and throw out bait to attract small, scattered schools of fish to bite them.

After sailing for nearly two more hours, Li Ke suddenly noticed that the number of strange fish was decreasing rapidly. She stopped the submarine and began to observe the situation.

She seemed to have stopped at a dividing line. The strange fish nearby would swim forward for nearly a hundred meters, but after passing this hundred meters, they would all suddenly and rapidly turn back.

Li Ke carefully observed the situation inside the submarine for a while. There were indeed no obstacles blocking the way. Judging from the fish's reaction, there must be something in front of them that terrified them.

She is currently dozens of nautical miles away from those giant ships. At this distance, if she makes a commotion on the water, she will be easily discovered.

Li Ke submerged the submarine again, where he could see the ruins of dilapidated buildings underwater. He proceeded cautiously, ready to deal with any impending dangers.

The water was already quiet, and now only a few plants float on the surface, along with the still somewhat angular buildings standing in the water. This place was indeed once land on the edge of the sea.

Li Ke judged the style of the underwater houses. Although most of them were destroyed, he could still make out some distinctive styles. He figured this was indeed the place he was looking for.

They were just thinking about finding a place, the place where those giant ships stopped, which should also be on this submerged continent, and it is very likely that the survivors of this place are here.

Suddenly, a black, arrow-shaped giant pillar rose straight up from the underwater structures. Its serpentine body, which appeared to be seven or eight meters thick, shot straight into the sky at such a speed that Li Ke didn't even see what it looked like. He only saw its body blocking the way in front of the submarine.

This sea serpent monster must have its own special swimming skills. Such a huge creature suddenly burst out of the water without making a splash.

Li Ke was terrified by the sight before her eyes. These were the things she feared most, but she couldn't help but wonder why the snake's body was so straight and upright, and why its tail hadn't appeared yet. Just how long was this giant snake?

In that instant, the snake's body changed shape. Li Ke looked up and saw a nightmare-like gaping maw. He could not stay there for even a moment longer. Li Ke gripped the control handle and frantically chanted "Stop! Stop! Stop!" in his mind.

When Li Ke opened his eyes again, he was indeed back in the space. Sitting in the driver's seat, Li Ke didn't want to move for a while. He didn't even want to wipe the fine sweat on his head. He just sat there to calm his heartbeat.

With something like this blocking the way, it's no wonder the fish dared not venture near. Li Ke had seen sea serpents that were seven or eight meters long and thick among the monsters kept by Ruan Bang, and some were even thicker. But those giant creatures were mostly fish monsters, and they were imprisoned; their sheer size couldn't compare to the awe-inspiring sight of this enormous sea serpent right before his eyes.

Thinking about this, Li Ke couldn't help but wonder whether the news Ruan Chun gave her was helping her or harming her.

After the initial shock subsided, Li Ke stepped out of the submarine and onto the ground, taking several deep breaths of fresh air.

The road ahead was fraught with obstacles; she needed to figure out a way to get through them. As Li Ke walked, she pondered how to deal with this enormous creature.

Li Ke didn't want to put it into his spatial storage. Unlike other fish, this kind of thing is not like a fish out of water once it's on land; it will quickly lose its fighting ability.

Moreover, Li Ke didn't even want to get involved with this thing, so how could he get close to it and put it into his space?

This kind of large creature cannot be killed instantly by swords, sharp weapons, or poison; in fact, it may very well injure or kill the user.

Li Ke stood in front of the mutated fish pond, lost in thought. She needed to come up with a plan as soon as possible; it was already dark, and she wanted to sneak onto those ships before dawn.

Unable to come up with a solution, Li Ke wondered what the sea serpent was doing in this area devoid of fish and food. Was it perhaps dormant?

That's not right either. Its position naturally defends the direction in which the giant ship is moving. That can't be a coincidence.

If it really is a defensive structure placed here by those humans, how did they manage to do it? Can such a thing be tamed? Li Ke didn't believe it!
