Once inside the space, Li Ke first took a shower, changed into comfortable clothes, and spent a long time cuddling with the three little ones. She had missed them terribly these past two or three months of being trapped at the bottom of the mine doing hard labor.
After kissing them, Li Ke took them out to see the territories where animals were kept. The space in front of them was very different from when Li Ke first got them.
Vast green mountains, cats and dogs playing and frolicking, chickens, ducks, geese, pigs, cattle and sheep in herds, and various wild animals occasionally running in the mountains. The once short stream has now become a life source that runs through the entire mountain range.
This place is like another new Earth, revitalized and full of peace and joy.
The animals here live in peace, without killing each other. They have always lived in the territories that Li Ke has designated for them. Initially, Li Ke had to feed them, but in recent years, they have become completely self-reliant, foraging for food in these increasingly dense and tall forests.
Over the years, because of the enormous storage capacity within his space, Li Ke has never touched these living animals, allowing them to live freely and leisurely lives.
However, the animals in the space still cannot reproduce, and their numbers have not increased much, except for the occasional animals that Li Ke throws in.
Li Ke also loved everything in front of her. Everything was very peaceful, and whenever she came here and saw these things, her heart would feel exceptionally calm and at peace.
After enjoying the pleasant experience for a while, Li Ke had to get back to work. Her sudden appearance on the sea was definitely not normal, and it seemed that she had drifted quite far away.
Li Ke continued to contact the spatial consciousness, but still received no response. After sending the three little ones back, Li Ke decided to go to the black hole to see what was going on.
After several attempts to teleport to the location of the black hole, Li Ke changed his mind and, a moment later, appeared in front of his bunker.
Apart from the area around the bunker where Li Ke had transplanted a large number of mutated plants and trees, the surrounding area was desolate, a far cry from the lush, green mountains and clear waters where she lived.
Because within the space, she has the ability to divide territories, restricting the animals within those territories from leaving and going elsewhere.
The castle on the ground was built very casually by Li Ke, with only a high and wide wall and a few simple container bungalows on the ground.
Further away, there were piles of building materials, both new and old, as well as a lot of construction machinery. These were originally things Li Ke had planned to build himself a big castle in his space when he had some free time.
Since entering the apocalypse, she found herself to be quite addicted to infrastructure construction. Her achievements outside were often wasted, abandoned, or destroyed, which made her very distressed. So Li Ke wanted to create some achievements in her own space.
Unable to contact the spatial consciousness, and with no idea what was happening outside, and given the unusual appearances of the miners Li Ke had taken into her space, she couldn't easily release them to the public before figuring out what was going on outside.
Upon entering the second basement level, there was a large platform space with rows of shipping containers. There were faint sounds of movement coming from there, such as rustling and moving, but no one else made any noise.
Li Ke had a headache. Most of the miners had lost their ability to speak. Apart from them, there was only the group of cooks and Chen Nanxing, whom she had brought in.
They couldn't be kept locked up forever. After thinking for a moment, Li Ke went to the first floor and delivered a batch of supplies and weapons. After moving Chen Nanxing and the guy named Yilang to another place, he released Ruan Chun.
"You can allocate the supplies and weapons here as you see fit. There are also rooms and materials on the surface. The miners' situation is a bit special, so it's not convenient for me to take them back right now. You can lead them to do the construction here first." Li Ke pointed out the prepared items to Ruan Chun.
Ruan Xuan followed her for a couple of steps before asking, "Where is this place?"
Li Ke: "This is another secret base I found, far away from the hustle and bustle. You can occasionally take people for a walk in the woods outside, but the activity area cannot go beyond the woods, otherwise you will be executed."
As they spoke, Li Ke led Ruan Chun out of the underground area. Looking at the clear sky outside and breathing in the pleasant air, Ruan Chun's previously troubled mind calmed down.
I initially thought the area Li Ke was referring to was small, but upon looking into the distance, I realized that the area she was talking about was actually quite vast and sufficient.
Ruan Chun had many questions in her mind, such as how Li Ke managed to rescue them all? And what about those miners, more than four thousand in number? This was no small rescue operation, but after they listened to Li Ke and entered the container, they fell asleep and then woke up in this place.
Li Ke didn't ask Ruan Chun if she was willing to do this or if she could control those people.
This is not a problem for Li Ke to consider. She saved them and provided them with food, clothing and shelter, so they have to follow her orders. If they don't behave themselves here, killing them is as easy as turning her hand.
Ruan Chun also felt the stronger, more casual pressure emanating from Li Ke, as if he had everything under his control. Not only did she not feel uncomfortable, she even felt a strange sense of security.
Having experienced the dark days at the underwater base, she can now stand peacefully and freely in the sunlight. She can stop thinking about everything and entrust everything to the woman who rescued her.
After handing the keys to the containers to Ruan Chun and letting her arrange the people herself, Li Ke left. She had been in the space for three hours and it was time for her to go out.
