Chapter 80 Stupid, Pigeon

Li Ke opened some videos, fast-forwarded through them for a while, and found that they were all of good quality and clear, not just a rip-off.

Looking at the hard drives arranged so neatly, with even the labels in the same place, Li Ke asked doubtfully, "Boss, were these things made by a girl?"

The shop owner paused for a moment before realizing what Li Ke had asked. He chuckled sheepishly and said, "It's a holiday, so I had my girlfriend and sister come to help. They're both very meticulous. I can't manage the shop and all this by myself."

"I really have to thank them. They did a great job, and I'm very satisfied. I'll need your help again in the future. Here's what I'll do: I'll give them four thousand a month for their hard work, and you can put it in your account. But I have to make this clear upfront: it's only if you keep doing this well. Of course, if they do even better, I might give them an extra reward."

After Li Ke finished speaking, he kicked the bag at his feet and said, "Here is 1.5 million. Take it inside and check it, then give me a receipt."

When the boss heard Li Ke mention paying his sister and girlfriend, his eyes lit up with joy. Then, when he saw the large bag pushed to his side, his heart pounded. He had already realized that this was a big boss.

"Boss, don't worry, we will do our best in any job you assign us, even if it means dying for it!" The repair shop owner swore an oath of loyalty.

Li Ke smiled and told him to go inside and count the money. The boss took a deep breath and carried the heavy money bag into the small room inside.

When the shopkeeper saw Li Ke come in carrying a large money bag, he didn't know it was full of money. He just thought it was easy to carry because Li Ke looked so relaxed. Now that he was carrying it himself, he realized that she was a strong woman who didn't look strong at all, and she carried heavy things with ease.

Just as Li Ke put the money inside and unzipped the zipper, the shop owner immediately ran out again, smiled at her, and said, "Boss, you can continue checking. I'll close the shop door for a while so no one can come in and disturb us."

Li Ke nodded and let him do as he pleased. After the shop owner closed the door and went inside to count the money, Li Ke sat outside in front of the computer and continued browsing.

After receiving the receipt, Li Ke said, "I also need a batch of desktop computers with the best configuration and long service life, about a hundred units. Can you handle that?"

Li Ke originally planned to buy these things for free later, but now she has too much money in her spatial storage, so it's better to prepare for things in advance. After the apocalypse, everything is risky.

"Of course, boss. When do you want it? How about a month? I guarantee I'll give you the best of everything. If you want a brand-name machine, I can get that too." The shop owner said, overjoyed that business was coming his way again.

"Just prepare it within three months. Here's what we'll do: prepare three of each of the brand-name computers that you think are good on the market. I'll send you another three million over in a bit so you can use them first. If it's not enough, put it on the books and we'll settle the bill later."

Li Ke wasn't particular about brands. Her first computer after starting university was a second-hand assembled machine she bought from an internet cafe for 800 yuan. In short, Li Ke always thought it was pretty good.

She only uses it for homework and some online work and socializing. She doesn't have time to play games, and she's not very good at them either. So she doesn't really care about the conveniences of computers, and she doesn't know much about them either.

I figured the shop owner was alright, and he didn't bother two people at once, so I figured I might as well have him handle everything I wanted at once.
