Ye Zhonghong shrank back, pursing her lips and daring not to utter a sound.
Ye Jingchi stood up: "I'm tired, I'm going back to rest."
Sang Zhi stood up.
"Then let's go back and rest."
"Arrange a room for Sang Zhi, and don't you dare bully her!" Ye Jingchi gave the order, then left the living room and went back to his room.
Grandma Ye immediately instructed Aunt Li to tidy up the room and take Sang Zhi to rest.

As Li Ying left the police station, a military jeep was parked not far away, with Ye Jingchi, wearing a black trench coat and smoking, standing beside it.
Sunlight shone on his sharply defined profile, casting a golden glow that gave him a dreamlike, ethereal quality.
Ye Jingchi was no longer the Ye Jingchi she knew.
Upon seeing Li Ying, Ye Jingchi exhaled a puff of smoke and twitched his lips.
Li Ying walked straight up and greeted him: "Commander Ye".
Ye Jingchi subconsciously stubbed out his cigarette, threw it on the ground, stomped on it, and glanced casually at Li Ying.
"Looking for Tong Danian at the police station?"
"Yes, it's something personal."
Ye Jingchi hummed in agreement, glanced at Li Ying's belly, and asked, "Are you about to give birth?"
"My due date is next month."
"They say you're my wife?" Ye Jingchi stared into Li Ying's eyes. "Is the child in your belly mine?"
With a clear look in her eyes, which didn't seem feigned, Li Ying gently shook her head: "No, the child's father isn't you. We only had a marriage of convenience before, and we had already divorced before you went to the front lines."
Ye Jingchi's eyes darkened, and he stared at Li Ying's eyes for a long while before giving a cold smile.
"So that's how it is."
"Nothing else, I'll head back now."
Li Ying walked to another car and opened the door.
Zhou Qi followed, glanced at Ye Jingchi, said nothing, and got into the car.
"Miss Ying, do you think Commander Ye might have something to do?"
That doesn't make sense. He sneaked into Ying's room just a few days ago, and now he's pretending not to know her?
"Zhou Qi, have you met him before?"
Zhou Qi gave an awkward smile: "Um, Miss Ying, you're not angry, are you?"
Li Ying smiled lightly, pursing her lips: "Let's go back."
Watching the car drive away, Ye Jingchi turned and walked into the police station.
