Qin Ziran patted the tattooed man on the shoulder, looking like they were good buddies.
"I'll treat you to dinner later."
Then, he walked up to Hua Mi, a satisfied look in his eyes.
"Ami, were you scared?"
Hua Mi's hand twitched, and she asked Qin Ziran,
"Where did you find all these monsters and demons?"
Qin Ziran smiled politely and gestured to the tattooed man.
“My childhood neighbor. You know how things are these days, you can’t get by without friends. Ah Mi, don’t worry, they won’t touch you without my permission.”

Qin Ziran stepped forward and stood in front of Hua Mi, a smug look in his eyes.
“Look, Ami, if you had listened to me earlier, we wouldn’t have had to go through all this trouble. I’ve said before that I am the best, and you are the best. We should be together, together for life.”
Hua Mi slowly pulled a foot-long watermelon knife from her sleeve.
Fine raindrops pattered against the blade, making it gleam. She spoke with exceptional gentleness.
"Since none of them are good people, let's hit the road together today."
