Zhou Cheng didn't know where the people celebrating Halloween came from.
They did not identify themselves, and when the sentry on duty asked them from a distance, they did not answer.
They dressed like ghosts and trudged through the wind and snow with great difficulty.
A group of people slowly approached the outpost.
The sentry had no choice but to report to Zhou Cheng.
Zhou Cheng could only ask Gong Yi.
Judging by sight, these people who are celebrating Halloween in such extreme conditions are probably escaped from a mental hospital.
The sentry said they were neither carrying weapons nor driving a vehicle.
The clothes he was wearing were thin and tattered.
They moved clumsily, some of them falling down in the snow as they walked, looking very weak.
It doesn't seem like they're here to launch an armed raid.
However, there were at least several dozen people.
Gong Yi, standing in the snowstorm, holding his phone, paused for a moment, then immediately realized what was happening.
"Damn it, tell your sentries to get out of there right now, get out of there!"
Zhou Cheng on the other end hadn't yet grasped the seriousness of the situation. After a moment of silence, he frowned and asked,
"So all the supplies in this warehouse have just been lost?"
He was somewhat reluctant; such a large warehouse could have saved countless survivors in City C.
Gong Yi thought for a moment and then said to Zhou Cheng,
"You go first, I'll ask my wife if there's any way to move those supplies."
After saying that, without waiting for Zhou Cheng to ask any questions, Gong Yi hung up on Zhou Cheng and then called Hua Mi.
It tells the story of zombies appearing in the supply depot of City C.
She was surprised and frowned, asking Gong Yi again.
"Are there really dozens of them?"
Gong Yi hadn't seen it either.
So Hua Mi asked again,
"Are you sure it's a zombie?"
Just how many zombies are there? This is no joke; the C City supply depot has 1,500 garrison troops.
If all 1,500 garrison troops were to become infected and turn into zombies, the problem would become even more complicated.
Hua Mi pinched the bridge of her nose.
"I'm really curious."
"Let Zhou Cheng retreat far away. That's a warehouse full of cement, which can't be eaten or drunk. It's not worth losing the lives of 1,500 garrison soldiers for this batch of cement."
Standing at the gate of D City, Gong Yi glanced in the direction of D City and decisively asked Hua Mi.
"Honey, is there any way for me to go to Zhou Cheng's place right now?"
Hua Mi: "Yes, you can teleport to Xiangcheng first, and I'll give you a teleportation ticket to [City C. Supply Depot]."
After saying that, Hua Mi hung up the phone without waiting for Gong Yi to speak.
She grabbed a guard standing watch outside the emergency room, handed him a teleportation ticket for both the [Xiangcheng. Watchtower] and [City C. Supply Depot], and gave him instructions.
"Tear up the ticket immediately and go to [Xiangcheng. Watchtower], where you will wait for your Commander Gong."
"Once he arrives, give him the teleportation ticket to [City C. Supply Depot]. Remember, go immediately."
Before she could finish speaking, Hua Mi turned around, tore up the ticket, and went to the C City supply depot.
In the time it takes to breathe, Hua Mi stood outside the C City supply depot.
At this moment, Zhou Cheng was calling on his garrison to begin their retreat.
He accidentally bumped into Hua Mi behind him.
"Damn it, who is it?"
Zhou Cheng turned around and was stunned for a moment when he saw Hua Mi behind him.
"you?"
He never expected that Hua Mi would appear here.
Before Zhou Cheng could react, Hua Mi said directly,
"Don't have any physical contact with those zombies. I brought a batch of white phosphorus bombs, and this too."
Hua Mi handed him a teleportation ticket for the [A. Tomson Luxury Villa Community],
"Send all the uninjured garrison soldiers here, and leave a few agile ones behind. These zombies cannot be allowed to live."
Retreat is easy, right? They can just move to another city in the blink of an eye.
The reason Zhou Cheng was given the teleportation ticket to [A. Tomson Villa Community] is that of all the teleportation points Hua Mi has set up, this is the one with the least traffic.
Just in case, right? Not necessarily, just in case Zhou Cheng and his garrison had close contact with zombies, it would be easier to eliminate them.
Hua Mi didn't say those words aloud; she just winked at Zhou Cheng.
Zhou Cheng had been diligently guarding this war reserve depot, and no one understood why he was being withdrawn.
Even Zhou Cheng felt that there was something strange about this whole thing.
He frowned and asked Hua Mi,
"Zombies? You mean those survivors who celebrated Halloween?"
Hua Mi, with her pregnant belly showing, explained to Zhou Cheng...
"I don't know where this thing came from either. Go read a novel, and you should find the answer."
No sooner had she finished speaking than Gong Yi appeared behind Hua Mi with a "snap".
Zhou Cheng's eyes widened as he pointed at Gong Yi.
"You you you"
As soon as Gong Yi appeared, he decisively said,
"We can't fight them. They're all zombies. You're just mortals."
"Don't look at me like that. There are quite a few superhumans in D City now. I'm a superhuman too. Let's get out of here."
Zhou Cheng, "A superhuman?"
What is this thing again?
It seems he really is going to read some novels.
Time was of the essence, and Gong Yi didn't have time to explain much to Zhou Cheng. He looked at Hua Mi.
Just as he was about to scold Hua Mi for coming to such a dangerous place with such a big belly,
Hua Mi rushed forward to face the dozens of slowly approaching zombies.
Zhou Cheng, who was behind her, was looking at the instructions on the back of the teleportation ticket. When he looked up, Hua Mi had already dashed several meters away.
Zhou Cheng was startled and immediately shoved the stack of teleportation tickets in his hand into the hands of the garrison behind him.
