Shi Caixia decided to go to D City with Hua Mi.
The reason was simple: this so-called zombie sounded terrifying, and Shi Caixia was worried that Hua Mi, with such a big belly, would encounter danger.
In fact, both Shi Caixia and Qin Zhen had tried to dissuade Hua Mi from going to D City.
However, Hua Mi had no choice but to go, because neither Gong Yi nor anyone else Hua Mi knew had any experience dealing with zombies.
In particular, the entire city of D may very well have been turned into a zombie apocalypse.
The city was blocked by heavy snow, so these zombies were trapped somewhere and couldn't get out.
Once the ice and snow melt, these indestructible zombies will emerge.
Shi Caixia decided to go to D City with Hua Mi, and Zhou Cheng also decided to go with them.
Love or not, it doesn't matter. The main thing is that Zhou Cheng wants to see how powerful zombies are.
He decided to leave and therefore made ample preparations.
Because the C City supply depot is full of cement, there is not much need for garrisoning and guarding here. All the C City garrisons will go to Xiang City and be incorporated into the Xiang City garrison.
It is under the unified deployment and management of Gong Yi.
If any instances of "wild animals" attacking survivors are discovered, immediately raise the alert level.
Hua Mi, Shi Caixia, and Zhou Cheng drove a high-end minivan onto the Hunan D Expressway.
On the Hunan-D Expressway, they saw the same scene: there wasn't a single survivor setting up a stall by the roadside.
Perhaps there were a few survivors before, but last time a "beast" attacked the survivors and tore them apart, leaving them with their internal organs in pieces.
The survivors on the Hunan-D Expressway have mysteriously disappeared without a trace.
Hua Mi had Zhou Cheng drive for a while, then stopped. She held her back and carefully examined the roadside scenery.
Shi Caixia braved the heavy snow to get out of the nanny van and asked:
"Ami, have you found any clues?"
Standing by the highway, Hua Mi shook her head, pointing to the snow on the ground.
“There are people clearing obstacles on this Hunan D Expressway every day.”
Shi Caixia nodded, "It's said to be a few people with superpowers."
She got this information from Zhong Ziming.
Zhong Ziming would often try to find out about Hua Mi and Qin Zhen from her, whether intentionally or unintentionally.
Once Shi Caixia realized this, she decided to play along and try to find out some random information from Zhong Ziming.
"A superhuman."
Hua Mi nodded knowingly. If it were a superhuman, clearing obstacles would just be something she did on the side.
I just don't know who these people with superpowers are.
She turned around and got into the car with Shi Caixia.
Zhou Cheng continued driving, and not long after, he saw a truck parked on the side of the highway through the windshield.
Clearly, it must have come from the direction of Xiangcheng.
He gestured for Hua Mi and Shi Caixia to look.
A little ahead of that truck is a snow-capped mountain.
Hua Mi looked at the snow-capped mountains slowly receding into the distance.
A real snow-capped mountain.
Shi Caixia, who was standing to the side, had never seen such a magical sight before. She asked Zhou Cheng,
"What is this?"
Zhou Cheng was also unaware of this; it was the first time he had ever seen a snow-capped mountain that could move and keep growing.
Hua Mi's explanation, however, was quite unsurprising.
"When a group of incredibly strong people work together to push snow, the snow will accumulate and eventually form a snow mountain."
It seems that this is how the superpowered individuals in D City clear obstacles.
After Hua Mi explained, Zhou Cheng and Shi Caixia realized that there were actually several other people at the bottom of that snow-capped mountain.
Zhou Cheng counted, "12? This D City is too amazing, there are actually 12 superhumans."
I'm so envious!
I'm afraid that many people in Xiangcheng and B City don't even have the concept of superhumans.
But D City actually has 12 people with superpowers.
Hua Mi sneered.
“There was once an analysis post that said that out of 100,000 zombies, one would be a superhuman. Just think about it, if there are 12 superhumans, how many zombies would there be in D City?”
"The key issue is that we still can't find where these zombies are."
Zhou Cheng counted on his fingers, but before he could figure it out, Shi Caixia, standing beside him, said with a serious expression,
"According to previous censuses, the population of D City is approximately 3.883 million."
"But this data is from three years ago."
The population is showing an upward trend year by year, and even though the earthquake caused some loss of life, it was not a large number.
In particular, the earthquake started in a small area and gradually spread to the entire city.
So from the very first earthquake, many people took precautions and immediately ran outside as soon as the tremor started.
In this situation, at least 3 million of the 3.383 million people in City D would be left over.
As Shi Caixia spoke, her face turned pale.
"If there are hundreds of thousands of zombies, how are the three of us supposed to deal with them?"
Sitting in her airline seat, Hua Mi glanced at Shi Caixia.
"Hundreds of thousands of zombies? You're oversimplifying things. Hopefully, there are only a few hundred thousand zombies."
Then, Hua Mi said to Zhou Cheng,
"Commander Zhou, why don't you go down and make friends with those superhumans, and try to find out some inside information from them?"
Zhou Cheng thought it made sense. He parked his van on the side of the road and went up to talk to the superhumans who were pushing the snow mountain.
Only after Zhou Cheng got out of the car did Shi Caixia say thoughtfully,
"I think these superhumans are probably connected to the management of D City."
