"Stop talking nonsense, are you going to kill them or not?"
Ni Shuiwen came out on behalf of the team, acting like a big brother.
Zhou Cheng, standing ramrod straight, guarded the entrance to the safe zone.
"He may not necessarily become a zombie; there is a 5% chance he can survive."
Everyone is accusing the garrison of disregarding human life, but who is really disregarding human life?
At this garrison, at this very moment, even a 5% chance of survival is not something we can afford to give up.
But for the other survivors, they only heard that there was a 95% chance Wu Guilong would turn into a zombie.
At this rate, there's practically no hope.
The team members expressed their dissatisfaction.
Ni Shuiwen looked coldly at Zhou Cheng.
“We can’t take this risk. This person must be killed. You stationed troops can’t just stand by and watch there be dangerous elements among us.”
Someone raised their voice and said,
"That's right, he got bitten by his brother because he wasn't careful. Who knows when he might turn into a zombie and bite us?"
After all, they are only now truly realizing how terrifying zombies are.
The garrison wouldn't let them leave, nor would they allow them to kill Wu Guilong.
What's going on here?
Zhou Cheng pursed his lips, looking at Ni Shuiwen and the others with a serious expression.
“We will not kill him, and you cannot kill him under our noses.”
This is a matter of principle.
Some people, however, refused to believe this superstition and stepped forward, stabbing Wu Guilong with a knife.
"If you stationed troops and don't lift a finger, we'll do it ourselves."
The next instant, the man holding the knife in front of the garrison was kicked away by the garrison guard.
Wu Guilong watched the whole thing, looking completely lost, neither offering any explanation nor retaliating.
This appearance does indeed bear some resemblance to that of a zombie with lifeless eyes.
He has given up on himself from the bottom of his heart.
Seeing his ghastly appearance, the bystanders became even more convinced and rushed towards the garrison.
"You garrison troops are despicable! You won't kill the zombies, you won't let us return to Xiangcheng, and you even want to use the zombies to harm us."
"This is outrageous! Charge! We're all going to die anyway, might as well give it our all!"
Their patience finally reached its boiling point at this moment.
Ni Shuiwen, in particular, was extremely eager to leave.
He kept urging the survivors to break through the defenses, kill Wu Guilong, and then take the opportunity to enter the safe zone.
Zhou Cheng gave the order, "Kill anyone who doesn't follow the rules and order."
Gong Yi once said that in critical moments, troublemakers can be eliminated.
These survivors were left in the temporary safe zone to divert traffic from the various teleportation points and reduce pressure.
The reason Wu Guilong wasn't killed was that he hadn't yet turned into a zombie, and there weren't even any signs of him becoming a zombie physically.
This is the bottom line of the principle of garrisoning.
These survivors attempted to use violence to disrupt the rules and order established by the garrison.
They can be killed!
Ordinary survivors are simply not in the same league as the garrison when they take things seriously.
Not to mention, one of them is Hua Mi, whose fighting power is unfathomable.
Hua Mi, with her pregnant belly, had originally just been standing by and watching.
The survivors were attacking the garrison while heading towards Wu Guilong.
Someone kicked Wu Guilong, knocking him to the ground.
Wu Guilong, who had been bitten by a zombie, showed a pained expression on his face.
He looked at the survivor who had kicked him.
"You'll turn into a zombie and kill us. Go to hell."
The other party is using psychological manipulation on Wu Guilong.
Wu Guilong also felt that he had no hope, so he closed his eyes and accepted his death.
A 5% survival rate? That's too low, really too low.
A tear slid down his cheek.
Just then, Hua Mi drew her long sword and joined the battle.
It's not because Wu Guilong looks silly and pitiful.
The key point is that Hua Mi felt that these survivors were going too far.
So you'll resort to violence if we don't do what they say?
Is WHO afraid of WHO?
"Murder! Murder! Pregnant woman murdered!"
Amid the chaos of the attack on the defending survivors, someone suddenly shouted in panic.
This sound startled Wu Guilong, who had been lost in thought.
He sat on the snow and opened his eyes to see a woman, heavily pregnant, holding a two-meter-long knife in her hand, protecting him.
Just like not long ago, he protected his younger brother.
And around him and Hua Mi lay a corpse.
It was a person, whose head was chopped off by Hua Mi.
Meanwhile, Zhou Cheng and his team had already subdued a small portion of the survivors who were attempting to storm the garrison line.
He glanced back at Hua Mi and Wu Guilong and saw that Hua Mi was not in any danger.
Zhou Cheng felt reassured and continued dealing with the troublesome survivors.
While fighting, Zhou Cheng moved closer to Hua Mi and Wu Guilong.
One survivor pointed at Hua Mi and began cursing.
"Are you crazy? What business is it of yours what this guy is?"
“We killed him because he was about to turn into a zombie. You killed us? Are you out of your mind? We have no grudge against you.”
Hua Mi sneered, gripping the hilt of a long sword, its blade slicing through the air.
"I only kill troublemakers. Anyone who dares to cause trouble in front of me, I will kill them."
A moment later, Hua Mi turned around, revealing a glimpse of her fair profile, glancing at Wu Guilong behind her out of the corner of her eye.
"I can't see this person turning into a zombie, so no one can touch him."
She can kill zombies in advance, and Hua Mi will not stop anyone from killing Wu Guilong before the bitten person shows obvious signs of zombification.
