Despite her mental instability, Chen Xiumin now understood what these people meant.
She shook her head in disbelief and said desperately:
"No, it was you who told me to take concrete actions, it was you who said you would hold off the garrison for me."
"You were the ones who encouraged me to do this, so why are you saying these things now?"
"Aren't we all family? Didn't we make a vow to watch over and help each other from now on?"
"You said it yourselves, but now you're blaming all the mistakes on me. What exactly are you trying to do?"
Everyone started talking at once, and began to retaliate against Chen Xiumin again.
"Commander Tang, Commander Tang, this has nothing to do with us at all."
"It was all Chen Xiumin's fault; she acted on her own initiative."
They pinned all the blame on Chen Xiumin; some even spat at her.
"Pah! You vicious woman, it's all your fault! What nonsense are you spouting?"
"Everyone knows I love children the most; you're slandering me."
"Commander Tang, look at yourself, do I look like such a vicious person?"
At this point, where is the slightest bit of warmth left in the hearts of all those who supported Chen Xiumin in taking action?
They hated Chen Xiumin to the core.
No one expected that Chen Xiumin would actually make a mistake.
Everyone thought that if Chen Xiumin went to drop a bomb on Gong Yi's wife and children, then Chen Xiumin herself would definitely die in the bombing.
As a result, the attack failed.
Hua Mi didn't kill the woman; instead, she let her live and, following the clues, arrested all those who usually gossiped about Hua Mi.

More and more survivors were driven over from the spot, numbering in the hundreds or even thousands, and they were all chattering away.
It was clear that it was no longer possible to pin all the blame on Chen Xiumin alone.
Someone was shouting loudly.
"What do you mean by this from your Xiangcheng base? What did we do wrong? We were just venting our frustrations."
"Is it not even allowed to complain?"
The world is developing in an increasingly unbelievable way, far from the freedom we had before the apocalypse.
Before the apocalypse, they could say whatever they wanted.
After the apocalypse, all they did was complain about Hua Mi sealing off the Xiangcheng base and preventing outsiders from entering. As a result, they were about to be expelled from the Xiangcheng base.
So, does the management of the Xiangcheng base only listen to one woman?
Is the fate of these survivors in the Xiangcheng base determined solely by the likes and dislikes of one woman?
Now that someone had asked, everyone else chimed in with their own questions.
Some people shouted loudly:
"I don't think we did anything wrong. Xiangcheng Base is such a big base, after all. Is everything decided by a woman?"
"Where's Gong Yi? What's Commander Gong doing? Isn't he in charge?"
"Did he just stand by and watch his wife, because she was unhappy with us criticizing her, kick all of us, living people, out of the Xiangcheng base?"
Tang You coldly stared at the survivors.
"So what exactly do you want?"
"You wanted to stay here, and we'd provide you with free tents, but instead you dropped bombs on our commander's child?"
There was a moment of silence among the crowd.
Because they seemed to have just remembered that it was right when they asked Gong Yi to come out and uphold justice.
In fact, the two children that Chen Xiumin dropped the bomb were not only Hua Mi's children, but also Commander Gong Yi's children.
So, putting ourselves in their shoes, they threw bombs at Gong Yi's child, yet now they expect Gong Yi to uphold justice for them. This is illogical and unreasonable.
Tang You looked at the silent crowd and sneered.
"You say it's because our Xiangcheng base is closed, preventing your families from reuniting. So what did we do wrong by letting you go out and reunite with your families?"
“None of you here were innocent victims; you have all expressed very strong dissatisfaction with the Xiangcheng base.”
"Since you dislike this place so much, then you can leave."
"Now we're not going to hold anything against you and are just setting you free. So hurry up and leave. Don't stay here. Go find your families and reunite with them."
Among the survivors, including Chen Xiumin, who made the bombs and threw them at her brother and sister, all turned deathly pale upon hearing this.
They really never considered leaving the Xiangcheng base.
They just wanted to create a commotion, to force the Xiangcheng base to back down, open the Xiangcheng base, and let their families in.
