Gong Yi directed Hua Mi to bomb in a direction very close to that giant mutated beast.
Soon the couple saw the disgusting monster chained up.
This huge monster looks just like an exceptionally fat pig.
Perhaps it had already sensed the presence of living beings on Gong Yi and Hua Mi, because before Hua Mi and Gong Yi could get close, the giant monster charged towards them.
The chains binding it snapped easily.
Hua Mi tossed her brother into Gong Yi's arms, saying, "Move aside a bit."
She took the lead, blocking Gong Yi's path and wielding her long sword, slashing at the giant monster several times.
The giant monster was in excruciating pain. It took a few steps back, roared again, and charged at Hua Mi from a different direction.
Hua Mi got more and more excited as she fought, and with one slash, she cut off a large piece of flesh from the monster's body.
"Stop! Stop! Who are you people? Why are you hurting my mother?"
Chen Hu's voice came through the loudspeaker. He had seen Gong Yi and Hua Mi attacking his mother on the surveillance footage, so he was extremely anxious.
Hua Mi sneered and brandished the long sword in her hand, speaking into the loudspeaker above her head.
"Are you kidding me? You're saying this monster is your mother?"
As she spoke, she cut off another large piece of flesh from the monster's body.
Blood, thick with a foul stench, gushed from the cuts on the monster's body, causing it to let out a piercing scream of pain.
Lin Zhigang covered his ears with his hands, "That was such an awful shout."
Hua Mi's actions completely enraged Chen Hu; no one could harm his mother.
Chen Hu roared through the loudspeaker, "I will definitely kill you, you bitch, I will definitely kill you!"
"Come and kill me then, are you coming out? I'll be waiting for you."
Hua Mi struck again, severing one of the monster's feet.
The monster fell to the ground and, in a frenzy, lunged at Hua Mi.
However, Hua Mi's body was much more agile than the monster's. Because the monster was so big, Hua Mi couldn't take it down with a single slash; she could only slice it piece by piece.
Soon, Chen Hu's helpers were summoned, and he ordered the arriving superhumans...
"Go kill that woman, now!"
Upon hearing Chen Hu's call, the superpowered individuals quickly organized themselves. However, as soon as the large iron gate blocking their way slowly opened, the group of superpowered individuals were shocked to find a huge monster chasing a slightly overweight woman.
The monster emitted a putrid, stench that made many superhumans vomit.
"Go and kill that woman quickly. Don't let her hurt my mother. She's about to kill my mother."
Mother? ? ?
The superhumans looked at each other, puzzled as to why Boss Chen would call a monster his mother.
Does this mean that in the apocalypse, if you see a mutated beast, everyone has the right to kill it? What does Mr. Chen mean by this?
"Hurry, my mother has lost so much blood, please help her..."
Chen Hu was extremely anxious on the other end of the monitor. He wished he could personally go and save his mother, but he dared not go out. One reason was that he couldn't beat Hua Mi, and the other was that his mother didn't recognize him at all.
If he goes out, his mother will eat him up too.
Chen Hu could only order those superhumans around, "I'll provide you with [Energy Drops], you hurry up and help me kill that woman, don't let her hurt my mother anymore."
At this point, the superhumans finally understood that the monster was the mother Chen Hu had mentioned.
The other ability users present found it all quite comical, so not a single one of them tried to stop Hua Mi.
Hua Mi brandished her long sword, slicing off several more pieces of flesh from the monster's body, and said with a smile to the crowd,
"You still haven't figured it out. This Chen Hu is clearly using you. His mother died a long time ago. The monster he's raising keeps absorbing crystal core energy, and his mother regularly eats human flesh. Otherwise, how could this monster have grown so big?"
No mutated beast or zombie can be friends with humans.
Because these things are essentially the natural enemies of humans; humans are their prey.
Just like humans eat food, who would be friends with the food on their plate?
"Don't listen to her nonsense!"
Chen Hu was jumping around anxiously on the other end of the monitor, shouting at the superhumans.
"Stop her! I'll give you my [Energy Drop] for free. Go and stop her now!"
Still no one moved. Chen Hu was furious. "Fine, you won't listen to me, huh? Remember this: I've recorded the faces of everyone here. Anyone who doesn't listen to me will never buy a single bottle of [Energy Drops] from me again."
"This [Energy Drop] is a complete scam. Chen Hu ground up zombie crystal cores and mixed them with water to give to us."
Wang Dexuan's voice rang out.
He appeared behind Lin Zhigang and spoke to the survivors at the entrance to the opposite passage.
"Actually, you can absorb the crystal cores of the zombies or mutated beasts yourselves; you don't need to buy them from Chen Hu."
"However, the energy in this crystal core is particularly violent. I suggest you drink the genuine [Energy Drop] from the Xiangcheng base."
"Don't listen to her nonsense. She's resentful of me because she's been in the settlement for too long and hasn't been able to get my trust. That's why she's deliberately coming out to say this today."

Wang Guangyi's voice rang out behind all the superhumans.

He stepped forward and pulled out a piece of clothing belonging to his teammate from a pile of bones. The clothing had been torn to shreds by claws and was covered in blood.
Wang Guangyi's tone was somewhat agitated as he looked at the camera overhead.
"Chen Hu, on the one hand, you use [Energy Drops] to make us work for you and build your survivor kingdom, and on the other hand, you use our flesh and blood as food to feed your mother. How can there be such a despicable and shameless person as you in this world?"
He finally learned how his teammates had died.
Enraged, Wang Guangyi drew his weapon and slashed at the giant monster several times.
