Hua Mi, supporting her pregnant belly, stood inside the RV, not answering the woman.
He simply asked, "Is there something you need?"
The woman in the leather jacket laughed and said,
"It's nothing serious. The snow has finally stopped, and we're thinking of having a celebration. Where's your husband?"
It makes no sense that a woman with such a big belly would come to such a dangerous place as D City; the only explanation is that she would go out with her husband.
Hua Mi replied, "I had to leave the city on business."
The woman in the leather jacket said "Oh," and asked,
"So he left you here alone? Wasn't he worried about you getting into any danger?"
The man standing next to the woman in the leather jacket is her husband.
His gaze passed over Hua Mi and landed on the RV with an inquiring look.
Before Hua Mi could answer the woman in the leather jacket, the man said,
"Here's the thing, I'm planning to organize a team of survivors from D City. I want to take advantage of this celebration of the snow stoppage to bring together all of us who kill zombies in D City."
"Let's discuss together how to clear out the zombies in D City as quickly as possible before the snow melts."
The man's words made Hua Mi, who was initially impatient, scrutinize him more closely.
She stroked her belly and asked:
"The garrison there should have made arrangements. If the survivors act rashly, they might be in danger."
The woman in the leather jacket, however, smiled nonchalantly.
“We’re pretty strong, what danger could we possibly be in? We can’t be suppressed by the garrison forever, right?”
She called Gong Yi's protection of the survivors "suppression".
I had a good nap at noon today, but I don't know what's wrong with me these past few days; my sleep quality has been poor again.
