"You stay here to protect me, the rest of you, get out there!" Gu Ningning shouted irritably to the bodyguard behind her, pointing to the one closest to her, and then ordering the remaining bodyguards to go and help.
Wei Qiao then calmly waved his hand, signaling everyone to follow, while he stayed behind, keeping a distance from Gu Ningning.
Although the men Gu Ningning hired all looked strong and muscular, none of them were real martial arts practitioners. They were quickly beaten back by Wei Qiao's men, and each of them was injured.
Seeing this, Gu Ningning couldn't help but feel a little scared, and glanced nervously at Wei Qiao not far away.
"I don't usually hit women," Wei Qiao said calmly, glancing at her as well.
Gu Ningning breathed a sigh of relief, pursed her lips, and immediately regained some confidence, making her demand, "Then give the Gu family's child back to us!"
What good would it do to follow Shen Zhi Qiu? Our Gu family's children are different from her; they can't handle hardship!
Wei Qiao snorted coldly, her anger reaching its peak, "What is the Gu family? Gu Qingyan is useless here, let alone you."
"Ha, quite the big talker," Gu Ningning sneered. "You dare call my brother by his name?"
Wei Qiao glanced at her as if she were a fool, and didn't want to waste any more words.
But Gu Ningning didn't think so. She thought that she had made Wei Qiao back down by mentioning the Gu family's name, so she straightened her back and said, "Let me give you a piece of advice. Although Nancheng is far from the capital, you may not know much about our Gu family. Why don't you go online and look up our Gu family's businesses before you talk?"
"If you treat me nicely today and let me take the child, I'll have my brother give you money. Name your price!"
Before Wei Qiao could even open his mouth to mock them, two cars sped in.
Lu Jia and Rong Mo walked out one after the other, their expressions solemn.
When Lu Jia saw Gu Ningning, he was clearly stunned. He really didn't expect her to come all the way from Nancheng to cause trouble for Shen Zhi Qiu, and his disgust for her increased even more.
Gu Ningning looked up and sized up Lu Jia and Rong Mo, wondering who Rong Mo really was.
"Go in and see Zhi Qiu first," Rong Mo said to Lu Jia in a low voice. Lu Jia nodded and walked quickly toward the villa.
"No one is allowed to take the child away from here." Rong Mo turned around and glanced down at Gu Ningning.
"Who are you?" Gu Ningning pouted defiantly. "Just because I can't take them away today doesn't mean I can't in the future. I miscalculated this time; I didn't take enough people. Next time..."
"Miss Gu Ningning, you may have misunderstood. There won't be a next time." Rong Mo said coldly, his expression serious.
"How do you know my name?" Gu Ningning touched her nose guiltily, but then, remembering her status as the second young lady of the Gu family, she straightened her back and retorted, "It's good that you know. I am the second young lady of the Gu family; there's nothing I can't do!"
"Is that so? It seems Miss Gu Ningning didn't stay in the training camp long enough last time! She didn't learn her lesson. I think you'd be better off staying there for a few years before you truly learn your lesson," Rong Mo said coldly with sarcasm.
"It's all because of that bitch Shen Zhi Qiu!" Gu Ningning was furious when he brought up the previous teaching camp incident, and her hatred for Shen Zhi Qiu deepened.
Rong Mo's eyes sharpened, but Gu Ningning didn't notice and continued to complain, "Shen Zhi Qiu is just lucky. Otherwise, she would have miscarried when I drugged her last time. She might have even died along with her unborn child. What a loss."
Upon hearing this, Rong Mo's face darkened completely.
"You're saying you drugged Zhi Qiu?"
"Yeah, I even pushed her down the stairs!" Gu Ningning showed no remorse for what she had done, but instead was smug. "Now that she's divorced my brother, he can't protect her anymore."
Rong Mo glanced at Wei Qiao and said coldly, "Tie her up."
"You dare?! Do you know who I am and you still dare to kidnap me? Have you eaten the gall of a bear and the heart of a leopard?" Gu Ningning sneered. "Let me tell you, from childhood to adulthood, no matter how big a mistake I made, it was always swept under the rug."
"Is that so? Then I'll teach you some manners on behalf of your family!" Rong Mo scolded with a stern face.
The bodyguards behind her immediately stood in front of Gu Ningning, protecting her behind them, but they couldn't help feeling a little uneasy looking at the powerful aura of the person in front of them.
"Get out of the way." Wei Qiao strode forward and coldly reprimanded.
"I'll double the money, show me your best skills!" Gu Ningning shouted from behind, cheering on her bodyguard.
The bodyguards immediately became incredibly energetic, switching into battle mode.
Unfortunately, he was no match for Wei Qiao.
Wei Qiao subdued his hands with a single move, pinning them down like iron clamps. With a powerful downward yank of one hand, he lowered his body and delivered a whirlwind kick, sending the bodyguard crashing to the ground. The entire action was swift, clean, and decisive.
"What do you want to do?" Gu Ningning was startled and couldn't help but take a step back.
"I'll tie you up and feed you to the dogs," Wei Qiao said coldly.
"You, you, how dare you treat me like this?" Gu Ningning panicked, immediately regretting her careless words. "If you dare touch me! My brother will never let you get away with this!"
Rong Mo's gaze was icy. He took out his phone and called Gu Qingyan directly, then pressed speakerphone.
"President Rong." Gu Qingyan was working overtime when she saw Rong Mo's call. Thinking that something had happened to Shen Zhi Qiu, she quickly answered, "Is something wrong with Zhi Qiu?"
