Gu Ningning suddenly looked up at Shen Yanshan, her face showing disbelief, completely unable to believe her ears.

Shen Yanshan was walking towards the gate and didn't notice Shen Meiyan's actions at all. When he turned around, he saw her lying face down on the ground. He instinctively thought that Xiao Lei had bullied his daughter, so he rushed back to help Shen Meiyan up and tenderly wiped the dust off her face.
Seeing that his daughter's forehead was bleeding from the fall, he was even more furious. He looked up at Xiao Lei and shouted, "How dare you, a grown man, bully my daughter! I haven't even punished you for slapping her just now, and you dare to hit her again!"
