The moment Shen Zhi Qiu saw the detonator, his face turned extremely ugly.
If she had just held onto a sliver of hope that Xiao Wanqing hadn't actually prepared a bomb, seeing this now, she could no longer gamble.
After all, Shen Zhi Qiu had clearly witnessed Xiao Wan Qing's crazy act of detonating explosives at the Gu family villa.

“Shen Zhi Qiu, friendly reminder, you have thirty seconds left.” Xiao Wan Qing said with a smile, her eyes full of mockery. “Oh, no, there are twenty-five seconds left now.” As she spoke, she waved the detonator in her hand in front of Shen Zhi Qiu, provoking him.
Shen Zhi Qiu took a deep breath. "I'll go with you," she said through gritted teeth. Her voice was low and hoarse, as if she had made up her mind.
Xiao Wanqing laughed triumphantly. "That's more like it, Miss Shen. Wouldn't it have been better if you had just listened to me earlier?" she said, standing up and saying casually, "Let's go, we don't have time to waste here."
Shen Zhi Qiu glanced upstairs, a pang of reluctance in her heart. She knew what her departure meant. She couldn't imagine the danger her family and friends would face.
"Wait a minute," Shen Zhi Qiu suddenly said.
Xiao Wanqing looked at her warily, "What do you want to do?"
"I just want... to see my children one more time," Shen Zhi Qiu said, her eyes filled with sadness. She was worried that once she stepped out of that door, she might never be able to return. Even if she did manage to come back, she might not be able to see her children again for a long time.
"Shen Zhi Qiu, do you really think I wouldn't dare to detonate the bomb?" A hint of ruthlessness flashed in Xiao Wanqing's eyes.
"Alright, Miss Rong, we should go." Xiao Wanqing said, gesturing with her chin towards the door. "Hurry up, don't try to stall for time!"
Shen Zhi Qiu sighed, knowing she had to leave to save them, and turned to walk towards the door. But in the instant before turning, she quietly slipped what she was holding into her jeans pocket.
Xiao Wanqing followed behind her, and the two walked out of the gate. A black sedan was parked outside. Xiao Wanqing opened the back door and gestured for Shen Zhi Qiu to get in.
After Shen Zhi Qiu got into the car, Xiao Wan Qing took out a pair of handcuffs from her bag and cuffed Shen Zhi Qiu's hands together.
Xiao Wanqing got into the driver's seat, started the car, and drove in the opposite direction.
"Where are we going?" Shen Zhi Qiu asked.
"You don't need to worry about where you want to go, Miss Rong. I've already made arrangements. You just need to follow me." Xiao Wanqing said, pressing down on the accelerator.
The car drove further and further into remote areas, speeding directly towards the outskirts of the capital. As Shen Zhi Qiu looked at the dwindling number of cars outside the window, she couldn't help but feel a little worried.
Xiao Wanqing glanced casually at the rearview mirror and saw Shen Zhi Qiu frowning. She felt incredibly pleased.
"You know what? Shen Zhi Qiu, seeing the pained look on your face makes me so happy, haha!" Xiao Wan Qing couldn't help but curl the corners of her lips and said smugly.
"But don't worry too much, I won't let you die too painfully," Xiao Wanqing added, her eyes brimming with undisguised joy.
"Xiao Wanqing, you've already harmed so many people. You should stop now, or you'll never be able to turn back," Shen Zhi Qiu sighed and advised.
"I can't turn back now," Xiao Wanqing sneered. "I never even considered turning back."
Her eyes were filled with smugness and arrogance, and the corners of her mouth were slightly upturned, as if she were announcing her victory to the whole world.
"Fine, even if you don't think about yourself, don't you even consider your parents? They've put in so much effort for you, and I heard your mother has been sick recently. Are you really unmoved?" Shen Zhi Qiu frowned, trying to appeal to their emotions. She knew that Xiao Wan Qing's greatest concern was her parents, and even if she had been cold-blooded and ruthless before, she would have compromised for their safety.
"You shouldn't have said that!" Xiao Wanqing glared at Shen Zhi Qiu and shouted angrily, "If you hadn't pushed me to this point, how could I not even be able to go home to visit my parents?! Shen Zhi Qiu, if you hadn't forced me like this, I wouldn't have resorted to such a desperate measure! Look at my face properly, if it weren't for you, would I have to change my appearance to live in this world? Huh?!"
