Huang Lin immediately understood, nodded, and walked towards Shen Zhi Qiu. At the same time, with a glance, the person behind him stepped forward and picked up Dr. Yu from the ground.
"What do you want to do?" Dr. Yu shouted in terror.
The person next to him found him annoying, so he simply tore off his tie, rolled it into a ball, and stuffed it into his mouth without any politeness.

Seeing Shen Zhi Qiu's brow twitch, Gu Qing Yan continued, "Huang Lin has already sent someone to his house. If you don't come with me, I guarantee you won't see him. Of course, if you don't want to know the truth, or if you don't want to know how to treat your mother's condition, I won't force you."
Having said that, he turned around and said to Huang Lin in a feigned retreat manner, "Let's go. Have someone lock Qian Shixiang up."
"Wait a minute." Shen Zhi Qiu pursed her lips and called out to Gu Qing Yan. She knew that these words were meant for her, intended to make her give in and force her to return to the Gu family.

“Brother Lu, we might as well fight them.” Zhong Yi stepped forward, his face cold and stern. As he spoke, he glanced at them sideways, showing no regard for them whatsoever.
"Going all out?" Gu Qingyan chuckled, a slight smile playing on his lips, as if he had heard the biggest joke in the world. He threatened with a forced smile, "Mr. Lu, you don't think you can have the upper hand in Nancheng, do you? If my Gu family wants to kill someone in Nancheng, it won't be too easy."
Shen Zhi Qiu suddenly recalled what Si Ming Yu had mentioned about the series of accidents in the homes of the Gu Group's elders. Not wanting to involve innocent people, she quickly spoke up to stop him: "Zhong Yi, stop talking. It's not good to make a big fuss here."
Then he said to Gu Qingyan, "I can promise you that if you let them leave, I will go back to the Gu family with you. However, even if I go back with you, we can never go back to the way we were before. I hope you understand."
Gu Qingyan glanced at her noncommittally and didn't reply, but she gestured to Huang Lin with her eyes, and Huang Lin immediately waved his hand to make way for their men.
Shen Zhi Qiu turned around, looked into his eyes, and lowered her voice to instruct him, "Take them back first. Don't confront Gu Qing Yan here, or your people will suffer. I don't want to see anyone get hurt because of me. Gu Qing Yan won't hurt me, and you know I need to find out the truth."
Besides, you can't get hurt. Grandma is still waiting for us in the south of the city. I can't go back for now, so you have to go back and take care of her for me. I don't trust anyone else but you. I'll let you know as soon as the time is right for me.”

Watching Lu Jia disappear down the stairs with her head down and heavy steps, Shen Zhi Qiu felt a pang of sadness. It was all because of Lu Jia that she had compromised. But she knew this wasn't the time to wallow in grief, so she said to Gu Qing Yan, "I'm going in to see my mother. Wait a moment."
Before Gu Qingyan could answer, she lifted her foot to push open the door and go inside.
Unexpectedly, although Gu Qingyan didn't say anything, she grabbed the doorknob first and said softly, contrary to her usual behavior, "I'll do it."
Shen Zhi Qiu pressed down on his hand and asked warily, "What are you going to do? You don't need to go in."

Just as Shen Zhi Qiu was about to retort, she heard Lin Yun Jin's scream and Zhou Xiao Ran's exclamation from inside.
