"Gu Qingyan? What brings you here?!" Shen Meiyan was the first to spot Gu Qingyan sitting in the passenger seat. Excitedly, she rushed over and almost leaned her head against the window frame to look at Gu Qingyan.
Gu Qingyan frowned as he looked at her messy hair and wrinkled clothes, then leaned back with some disgust, keeping the furthest distance between them.

"I'm sorry, Qingyan, you must have seen this. It's all my fault for spoiling her." Shen Yanshan said with a smile.
“That’s true. I do think you’ve spoiled your children quite a bit. But isn’t it a bad idea to treat your two daughters so differently?” Gu Qingyan said quietly, not intending to give Shen Yanshan any face.
"No, no, they're all my daughters, how could I favor one over the other? They're all my precious jewels, and I love them all equally." Shen Yanshan wiped his sweat somewhat guiltily, but on the surface he still spoke nonsense with a straight face.
Seeing that Gu Qingyan didn't seem to care much about himself, Shen Yanshan approached and asked, "Qingyan, are you going to see my daughter, Zhi Qiu?"
