Zhang Ruoxin was filled with regret and self-blame. She tried to explain, but Zhong Yi didn't give her any chance.

Zhong Yi's expression did not soften in the slightest; his eyes were filled with determination.

Zhang Ruoxin's body was dragged towards the edge of the cliff. Her heart was pounding, and her mind went blank. She looked at Zhong Yi in despair, hoping he would change his mind.
"Please, don't do this! I'm willing to pay any price for my mistake, please don't throw me off the cliff!" Zhang Ruoxin's voice was filled with fear and despair.
However, Zhongyi's determination did not waver in the slightest.
Zhong Yi lifted Zhang Ruoxin up, her feet dangling in the air, with a bottomless abyss below.
