Chapter 75 "Mr. Lu is so stingy?"

Chapter 75 "Mr. Lu is so stingy?"

Lu Yu carried Lin Che directly back to the room and threw Lin Che on the big bed.

"Listen to my explanation! Stop..."

Lu Yu knelt on one knee at the end of the bed, looking down at Lin Che who was curled up and trying to retreat. He unbuttoned his shirt with one hand and easily grabbed Lin Che's ankle with the other hand, with a dangerous dark look in his eyes.

"Explain?" He loosened his tie with one hand. "Explain how you learned to smoke? Or explain those tricks you do with the dice?"

Lin Che leaned back on the mattress with her elbows, the collar of her white sweater slipping halfway down from her struggle, revealing her delicate collarbone. "It's all... I learned this while working part-time in college..."

Lu Yu sneered, pressed his knees against the mattress, and grabbed his slender ankle with one hand to drag him back: "Teach me next time?"

"Listen to me..." Lin Che shook her head in panic, her hair scattered messily on the snow-white sheets, "I won't play anymore..."

Lu Yu lowered his head and bit Lin Che's exposed collarbone. The stinging pain made Lin Che's ears red. He tried to kick him with his other foot: "Lu Yu, you...ah!"

Suddenly, the world spun around and he was pinned down on the man's lap.

A crisp "pop" sound was heard, and Lin Che trembled all over.

"First time," Lu Yu said, rubbing the reddened skin slowly, "Why did you lie?"

When the second blow came, Lin Che's eyes were already red: "I didn't... um..."

"The second time," Lu Yu leaned over and bit his red earlobe, "Why are you showing off?"

The third hit was particularly loud, and Lin Che finally whimpered: "Lu Yu...!"

"The third time," the man's hot breath puffed on the back of his neck, "Do you still dare to smoke?"

Lin Che took the opportunity to turn over, his wet eyes gleaming with cunning as he said aggrievedly, "It hurts."

Lu Yu pinched his chin and rubbed his red lips with his thumb: "You will cry later."

A sudden commotion erupted downstairs, and Lin Che took the opportunity to slip out of Lu Yu's arms and ran barefoot towards the door. As soon as she touched the doorknob, she was grabbed by the waist and thrown back onto the bed.

Lu Yu unbuckled his belt with one hand, and the sound of the metal buckle clashing made Lin Che freeze instantly.

"Keep running?" the man approached dangerously.

Lin Che huddled under the covers, revealing only a pair of eyes. "I was wrong..."

Lu Yu leaned over and supported himself on top of him, suddenly chuckling: "What's wrong?"

"Shouldn't smoke..." Lin Che blinked, "Shouldn't play dice..."

"besides?"

"I shouldn't have..." Lin Che suddenly hooked her arms around his neck, tilted her head back and kissed his Adam's apple, "I shouldn't have kept this from you..."

Lu Yu's breathing hitched, and he pinched the back of his neck to deepen the kiss. As their lips and teeth intertwined, the hem of Lin Che's sweater was pushed up, and the cold white waistline was particularly eye-catching against the dark sheets.

"Lu Yu..." Lin Che panted and turned his head away, "Downstairs..."

The man bit his carotid artery: "Do you remember going downstairs now?"

Suddenly, an exaggerated commentary came from outside the window: "Dear audience! The second young master of the Xu family is performing frog jumps in the snow——"

Lin Che chuckled and was pinched on the waist by Lu Yu as punishment.

"Pay attention." Lu Yu held his earlobe in his mouth, listening to the booing sounds coming from downstairs, and suddenly stood up and locked the window.

Blocked from the cold wind, Lin Che hooked her arm around the man's neck and whispered, "Actually... I didn't inhale the smoke..."

Lu Yu narrowed his eyes dangerously: "Hmm?"

"I spit it all out..." Lin Che kissed his chin flatteringly.

Lu Yu lowered his head and pecked Lin Che's lips twice, then bit the tip of his nose, still unsatisfied, before pulling him out of the messy bed. Lin Che was still dazed, his sweater collar askew, revealing half of his shoulder, and a fresh red mark on his collarbone.

"Get up." Lu Yu's voice was hoarse, and his thumb rubbed his slightly swollen lips, "I'll take you somewhere."

Lin Che blinked, and before she could process what had just happened, Lu Yu grabbed her wrist and pulled her up.

The man pulled out a thick black down jacket from the closet, shook it open, and put it on him without saying a word. Lin Che subconsciously tried to hide, but Lu Yu grabbed her waist and pressed her into his arms.

"Don't move." Lu Yu lowered his eyes, and his slender fingers flexibly zipped up his clothes, all the way to his chin, and then he raised the collar and wrapped him tightly.

Lin Che was wrapped up like a chubby penguin. She struggled a bit and protested muffledly, "...I'm not cold."

Lu Yu snorted lightly and raised his hand to flick his forehead: "It's snowing so heavily outside, and you still say you're not cold?" Then he took out a dark gray cashmere scarf and wrapped it around his neck twice. His fingers accidentally rubbed his Adam's apple, causing Lin Che to shrink his neck.

"Lu Yu..." Lin Che looked up at him, her voice muffled by her scarf, soft, "Where are you taking me?"

Lu Yu didn't answer, but took a woolen hat from the coat rack and put it directly on Lin Che's head. He also pulled it down mischievously, covering half of his face.

Lin Che's eyes went dark, and he frantically pulled at the brim of his hat. When he finally opened his eyes, he saw Lu Yu staring at him with a half-smile.

"I'm just smoking a cigarette..." Lin Che muttered softly, his eyes wandering. "You're not going to sell me out, are you?"

Lu Yu raised his eyebrows, raised his hand and knocked him on the forehead. The force was neither light nor heavy, but it made Lin Che cover his forehead with his hands and stare at him with wide eyes.

"What's going on in your head all day long?" Lu Yu pinched his chin, rubbed his lips hard with his thumb, and said in a low, hoarse voice with a smile, "Sell it to you? I'm willing to do that?"

Lin Che's ears felt hot, and just as he was about to retort, Lu Yu had already grabbed his wrist and was leading him out the door. Lin Che stumbled a few steps, looking down at his fully armored appearance, then at Lu Yu's back, wearing only a black turtleneck sweater and a coat. He couldn't help but grumble softly, "...You're wearing so little, yet you're covering me up like this?"

Without even turning his head, Lu Yu tightened his fingers and pulled him closer to him, saying in a dangerous tone, "If you keep talking nonsense, I'll carry you out right away, believe it or not?"

Lin Che immediately shut up, but the corners of her mouth curled up slightly.

Parked on the snow in the backyard of the villa was a snowmobile painted in Christmas colors, with a reindeer antler headdress hanging comically on the handlebars.

Lu Yu slid into the driver's seat and patted the back seat. "I wonder who was staring at that ski resort ad yesterday without blinking."

Lin Che's eyes lit up, and she jumped to get on the car but slipped on the ice. Lu Yu grabbed her waist and pressed her behind him.

When the engine roared, he subconsciously put his arms around Lu Yu's waist, and could feel the taut muscles even through his coat.

"Hold on tight." Lu Yu suddenly accelerated, and Lin Che crashed into his back. Screams and laughter were scattered in the wind and snow. The motorcycle rolled over the soft new snow, leaving two clear marks from the wheels.

As they passed through the birch forest, Lu Yu suddenly turned and headed towards a steep slope. Lin Che was so frightened that she buried her face in his shoulder blades: "Lu Yu, you're crazy—"

The feeling of weightlessness suddenly came over them, and the snowmobile leaped into the air. They drew an arc in the air, and when they landed, Lu Yu deliberately tilted the front of the car, and the two of them fell into the waist-deep snow pile together.

"You did it on purpose!" Lin Che emerged from the snow, her hair and eyelashes covered in sparkling snowflakes.

Lu Yu reached out and wiped the snow from his brow, then suddenly took off his gloves and placed his warm palm against the back of his neck: "Baby, are you satisfied?"

Lin Che shuddered from the cold, but when he saw Lu Yu's dark eyes, he immediately became timid: "I was wrong... Ugh!" Lu Yu pinched a mint candy and stuffed it into his mouth, and the sweet and cool taste exploded in his mouth.

"Quit smoking candy." Lu Yu wiped the powdered sugar off his lips with his thumb, "If I see cigarettes again--"

"So what?" Lin Che challenged vaguely while holding a candy in his mouth.

Lu Yu suddenly pushed him into the snow, and when he leaned over, the hem of his black coat brushed across Lin Che's flushed face: "I'll tie you to the lining of my coat and carry you wherever I go." As he spoke, he really unbuttoned his coat and pretended to wrap him in it.

Lin Che was still struggling in the snow, but Lu Yu had already stood up, holding his wrist with one hand and taking something out of his coat pocket with the other.

"Close your eyes." He whispered, with a rare hint of tension in his voice.

Lin Che glanced at him suspiciously, tiny particles of snow still clinging to her eyelashes. "What? Are you trying to tease me again?"

Lu Yu didn't answer, but simply raised his hand to cover his eyes. Lin Che's vision went dark, and he could only feel Lu Yu's warm, dry palm, his fingertips covered with calluses, gently covering his eyelids.

"Lu Yu..." He subconsciously grabbed the other's wrist, his voice softening a bit, "What on earth are you going to do?"

"Don't move." Lu Yu's voice was close to his ear, his breath brushing against his ear tip, "Three, two, one——"

The moment his hand moved away, Lin Che's sight refocused—

On the snow, a pink rose was inserted diagonally in the pure white snow, with unmelted snowflakes still on its petals.

Lin Che was stunned.

"...When did you prepare it?" he asked in a low voice, his heart beating suddenly faster.

Lu Yu didn't answer, but reached out to pick up the rose, gently brushed off the snow on the petals, and then pinned it to the collar of Lin Che's down jacket.

"I saw it on the street," he said nonchalantly, as if he had just picked a flower. "I thought it suits you very well."

Lin Che looked down at the rose. Its pink color stood out against his pure black down jacket, delicate and vibrant. He pursed his lips, and the tips of his ears turned slightly red.

"...Just one?" He curled his lips deliberately and looked up at Lu Yu, "Mr. Lu is so stingy?"

Lu Yu narrowed his eyes, suddenly reached out and grabbed the back of his neck, pulling him into his arms.

"Not enough?" He chuckled, his nose almost touching Lin Che's. "Then I'll plant a whole yard for you when I get home, how about that?"

Lin Che's heart skipped a beat. Just as he was about to retort, Lu Yu leaned over and kissed him on the lips.

The snow was still falling, and the wind swept through the treetops, blowing up fine snow foam.

The pink rose was still firmly pinned to Lin Che's collar, its petals trembling slightly, like a silent confession.
