Chapter 17 Qingqing is kidnapped

The floor was cold and hard, and the surroundings were shaking and extremely bumpy.

Qingqing was awakened by the discomfort.

She opened her eyes, but could not see anything.

It was very dark in here, and she seemed to be locked in a large carriage. The tip of her nose was filled with the unpleasant smell of gasoline and an indescribable stench.

It was like a pile of rags and rotten vegetables mixed together and fermented for several months. It was very disgusting.

Qingqing almost vomited from the fumes.

Covering her nose tightly and wrinkling her little face, Qingqing did not dare to say a word, but she had already guessed her situation in her heart.

She might have been kidnapped, or she was naughty and taken away by the big bad wolf.

Mom said that it was very dangerous outside, and there were many bad guys who would specifically catch children like her from rich families and use them to threaten her parents to give them money. If they didn't, they would kill her. That's why she was never allowed to go out.

Qingqing didn't understand what "killing" meant, but it must be a bad thing for adults to use to scare children.

Just like what the nanny said, naughty children would be caught and eaten by the big bad wolf.

But no matter what the situation was, Qingqing was very scared.

She couldn't help but curl up in the corner, trembling, tears streaming down her face, but she was silent.

She didn't want her parents to be threatened, and she didn't want to be eaten by the big bad wolf. She

was so scared, was there no one to save her?

Uncle...brother...aunt...son...

there seemed to be sobbing sounds coming from around her. Qingqing was stunned. She didn't cry out loud.

After listening carefully, she found that there was more than one crying voice.

It turned out that there were other children in the carriage besides her.

"Were you also captured by the big bad wolf?" she asked in a low voice.

Maybe the presence of people of the same age gave her a little sense of security. Qingqing was a little braver and dared to speak. There was

silence all around for a moment. After waiting for a while, another voice responded to her: "It's not the big bad wolf, we were kidnapped by kidnappers."

"What is a kidnapper?" This is a new term for Qingqing.

"..." The other party didn't seem to expect Qingqing to be so stupid that she didn't even know what a kidnapper was.

But remembering that her voice seemed very childish, he understood a little: "How old are you this year?"

"Three and a half years old." It was now mid-June, and Qingqing was born at the beginning of the month.

She was born with a sensitivity to numbers, so she remembered her exact age very well.

"No wonder." Someone seemed to mutter not far away, but immediately

muted it.

Instead, the little boy who had talked to Qingqing at the beginning started talking to her again: "My name is Nian Gao, and I'm five years old this year."

"Brother Nian Gao." Qingqing called him politely, and added: "My name is Qingqing."

"Sister Qingqing."

The sky outside gradually brightened, and the sunlight penetrated through the gaps in the carriage and shone into the dark carriage.

With this little light, everyone finally regained some vision.

"She's not tied up." Someone whispered in surprise.

Following the reminder of this voice, everyone also saw that Qingqing was not tied up like them.

This was not surprising.

When Qingqing was taken away, the trafficker was drunk, and seeing that she was too young, he thought that even if she was not tied up, she would not be able to escape, so he simply took a lazy moment and threw her into the carriage.

But for Nian Gao and others, this was no different from a glimmer of hope that suddenly appeared in despair.

"Sister Qingqing."

Nian Gao swallowed nervously, her heart pounding, but she didn't scream out loudly. Instead, she lowered her voice and whispered, "Can you help us untie the rope?"

"Rope?" Qingqing looked around and found that except for her, the other children had their hands and feet tied tightly with ropes, lying on the ground in twisted postures and unable to move.

It was very uncomfortable to watch.

Everyone she saw became nervous subconsciously, fearing that she would not be willing to untie them.

But unexpectedly and as it should be, Qingqing readily agreed, "Okay."

She didn't waste time, and crawled to Nian Gao's side with her hands and feet, reaching out to grab the rope behind him.

The traffickers used thick hemp rope and tied it very tightly.

Qingqing struggled for a long time, but not only could she not untie the rope, but her little hands were also hurt.

"It hurts..." She whined and said aggrievedly: "Qingqing can't be undone."

Others were a little commotion, gaining hope but facing despair. Even adults can't accept this kind of thing, let alone a group of children.

Only Nian Gao was calmer. He patiently comforted Qingqing: "Don't worry, untie it little by little. I believe Qingqing can do it."

Pursing her lips, Qingqing simply crawled behind Nian Gao, reached out to grab the knot in his hand, and bit it.

It turns out that little baby teeth are pretty powerful.

The knot that was originally unmovable loosened little by little until it could be untied by hand, and then Qingqing pulled it off.

"Qingqing is awesome!" With his hands free, Nian Gao immediately bent over and untied the rope on his legs.

After breaking free from the restraints, he immediately went to rescue other children.

Qingqing had nothing to do next. In order to untie Nian Gao's brother's rope, her teeth were sore and she had to rest.

Nian Gao was two years older than Qingqing, but his mobility was many times stronger than hers.

After a while, all the children in the car were untied. The

children who were freed couldn't help but get up and move their hands and feet, but they were still careful not to make too much noise.

They had been kidnapped for a while, and they knew that if they made too much noise and attracted the attention of the traffickers, they would be scolded at best, or even beaten at worst.

They were scared of being beaten, so they naturally learned their lesson.

"We have to find a way to escape."

Nian Gao discussed with others in a low voice.

He was not the oldest among the kidnapped children, but for some reason, the crowd followed him and obeyed him in everything.

"How can we escape?" someone asked, "They are adults, much taller than us, and they have a car. We can't escape at all."

"Yes, as long as you do what I say!" Nian Gao said firmly.

He was actually very scared, but he knew that if he didn't escape now, they would never see their parents again.

"Don't you want to go home? Don't you want to go back to your parents?"

Many children thought of their parents and their originally warm and happy home, and couldn't help sobbing softly, even Qingqing was no exception.

She missed her uncle and brother, and her sons.

With the encouragement of going home, everyone immediately became very cooperative.

They leaned against each other, took turns sleeping and resting, and tried their best to recover their strength.

The child on the lookout followed Nian Gao's instructions and was always alert to the movements outside. If the car showed

signs of stopping, he would immediately alert everyone. Everyone would tie the rope back to themselves as soon as possible, pretending to be tied up.

But in fact, the rope that was tied again was a slipknot, and no one needed help. It could be untied by just pulling it with your backhand.

"Qingqing, you don't have a rope. When the car stops, just pretend to be asleep and don't move. Do you understand?"

"Yeah."

After driving for several hours, the truck loaded with a lot of abducted children finally stopped in a remote abandoned factory.

The driver got out of the car and opened the back compartment, and his cold and sharp eyes swept inside.

Seeing all the children shrinking and avoiding his sight, their hands and feet were tied tightly, no matter how they struggled, they could only crawl on the ground like a caterpillar.

As if they were a pile of moving money.

The human trafficker chuckled, deliberately sulked his face, and said in a rough voice: "Behave yourself, otherwise you won't have dinner tonight!"

In order to ensure that these abducted children have no strength to escape, they are only given one meal a day, and it can't be full.

At most, it can keep them alive.

These children have all experienced the feeling of hunger and have learned their lesson.

Everyone was too timid to resist, and obediently let themselves be carried by several human traffickers like sandbags and thrown into the abandoned factory.

There are more kidnapped children here.

Their mental and physical conditions are obviously worse than Qingqing and the others, and no one knows how long they have been tortured here.

"Huh? Why is there one here who is not tied up?"

The human trader who moved to Qingqing was surprised to find that there was no rope on her.

"Oh, I brought that one back last night. She is still young and can't run a few steps, so I didn't tie her up."

The human trader who kidnapped Qingqing explained casually.

"Find a rope."

For the sake of safety, all the children had to be tied up.

Those who do this business make money without conscience. If they are not careful, they will be jailed for life.

"Forget it. I drank too much yesterday and I think I accidentally gave the child too much medicine. You see, she hasn't woken up yet, so just leave her here for now."

It wasn't that the human dealer felt guilty, but he was afraid that Qingqing was too young and too weak. She

had already been drugged. If she was tied up and thrown on the ground, she might get sick. If she didn't make a fuss, she might die.

The child was good-looking and could get a good price no matter where she was sold. He didn't want to go against the money.

When the human dealer's companions heard this, they thought it was exactly the same.

Besides, there were more than a dozen of them guarding here. Could it be that they couldn't keep an eye on a three-year-old child?

So they didn't tie Qingqing up anymore, and even threw her into the pile of miscellaneous items filled with worn-out cardboard in the factory instead of letting her lie directly on the ground.

Although they are all equally dirty.

There are about twenty abducted children in Qingqing's group, from all over the world, and even a few foreigners.

You can imagine how big this human trafficker gang is.

But these are not what Qingqing and her group should worry about now. The most urgent thing is to find a way to escape and then find someone to ask for help.

Nian Gao's plan is very simple. They can't run away in the car, so they can only pretend to be caught and follow the human traffickers back to their lair. Then wait until the night is quiet

after they have a meal and have recovered a little strength. The human traffickers should all be asleep by then, and they can take this opportunity to escape quietly. The other abducted children in the factory were a pleasant surprise to Nian Gao. He immediately changed his plan and prepared to release everyone. If everyone spread out and ran together, the chance of escaping would be greater. No matter how many people could run away in the end, as long as one person found an adult and called the police, they would have hope of being rescued. "But...how can we tell the adults where the others are being held?" a slightly older child asked. They were all held in a dark carriage when they were transported here. They couldn't see outside at all, and had no way of knowing where they were being sent to. "Qingqing knows." Qingqing raised her hand actively and spoke. Everyone turned their heads to look at her when they heard the voice. "Aren't you asleep?" asked the other children who didn't know whether Qingqing was pretending to faint. "I'm awake." Clumsily climbing down from the pile of junk, Qingqing trotted over to Nian Gao and squatted down, wanting to join in the discussion of the escape plan. "How did sister Qingqing know where this place is?" Nian Gao asked curiously. "The house number is on the door." Qingqing pointed to the factory door outside with her little hand. She has lived in a villa area since she was a child, and every building in it looks very similar. In order to prevent children from not recognizing their own homes after playing in the community, every parent will teach them to recognize the house number. So it is not surprising that Qingqing knows how to read the house number.

"Xiaoning? 338. There is one character Qingqing doesn't recognize."
