Chapter 165 Fenrir

“Damn it!”

High on the mountain, looking at the bloodstains all over the ground and the huge body of the werewolf, the fat sheriff took a breath of cold air. The smell of blood rushed into his nostrils, making his face look very ugly. He retched and almost vomited out the dinner he had eaten not long ago.

When he received a call from the police station and learned that a supernatural monster had appeared under his jurisdiction, he trembled all over and quickly ordered the surrounding police to rush to the mountains for support and make sure to keep this supernatural monster here.

After all, he has accomplished a great feat!

By then, becoming a British hero would be a piece of cake, and wouldn't his own official career be smooth?

He is now just the chief of police in a small city called Margate. If he can rely on this incident, it will be enough for him to be transferred to London!

London is the center of British politics, honor, power and wealth. Only by going to London can you make yourself more prominent and become a superior person.

Although two policemen died and a man named "Cavendish" was missing, the sheriffs did not care much and just gave them some compensation. After all, they died at the hands of werewolves.

He could already imagine himself being honoured by the Queen and being knighted.

Of course, this was the best treatment he could imagine as the police chief of a marginal city.

The two surviving policemen who had been sent to the ambulance remained silent, especially the thin policeman, who was still a little frightened and suspicious, feeling that the werewolf was right next to him.

But unfortunately, the experienced policeman whose arm was bitten off by the werewolf eventually couldn't hold on and died from excessive blood loss. This made the two of them feel very fortunate that they were able to survive in such an environment.

But in fact, they still have some doubts in their hearts.

Why... could I survive this monster? Why could that seemingly extremely powerful and ruthless monster kill me directly with just a hit to the heart?

These questions were so confusing that they had no time to think about them when they were fighting to the death. But now when they think back on them, they find them so unreal.

After all, it certainly seemed unbelievable to them that such a brave and invincible monster could be killed by just a few bullets.

Judging from the monster's ferociousness, the thin policeman would believe it if he said that the four of them were wiped out.

The monster sprayed blood all over itself before it died, which made the thin policeman even more unbearable. He still had a stinky smell on his body.

The policeman who shot the werewolf himself looked at the thin policeman who seemed to be thinking about something. He laughed loudly and said, "Robin Hood, don't think about it. We have to enjoy our honor now."

He personally killed the extraordinary werewolf, and he might become Britain's first extraordinary hero!

After all, in this era, no one in the whole of Britain has ever killed a werewolf!

"Yeah, don't think about it anymore."

Robin Hood nodded and glanced at the blue moon outside the window. For some reason, he seemed to feel a rising desire in his heart, as if... he wanted to speak.

"Hmm? What's wrong with me? Is it because I'm too tired?"

Seeing that he seemed to be a little strange, Robin Hood was stunned for a moment, but then he shook his head, muttered a few words in his heart, and then did not take it seriously.

After all, he is a hero now and doesn't care about such things.

......

"Chief, we found the vehicle of the reporter Alvin up ahead. There's something wrong. Do you want to go take a look?!"

The sheriff, who was still cordoning off the scene, suddenly heard the voice of his police officer and was stunned for a moment. The next moment, he said with a bad look, "What's going on? Can't you talk?"

He is so fat, the mountain road is so rugged, and there are so many people. Can he drive? He still has to walk by himself. How tiring!

Why are police officers like this nowadays? They have no vision at all. Don’t they know what their superiors need?

Seeing the unfriendly look in the sheriff's eyes, the police officer secretly cried out that something was wrong. He glanced at the busy crowd around him, came over, and whispered to the sheriff: "We found Alvin's car in front of us. The car has been overturned, and near the car, we found the body of a werewolf with several gunshot wounds!"

"Huh? There's another werewolf corpse?"

The sheriff was stunned when he heard this, and then he asked again: "Good news, why did you tell me in private without telling anyone, and why did you ask me to go and see it?"

After hearing what the sheriff said, a serious look flashed across the officer's brows. He lowered his voice again and said, "That's true, but... we found that the werewolf's body is slowly degenerating into a human, just like a human covered in wolf skin. Now the werewolf's face has appeared. The patrolman from a nearby town is with me. He said that this werewolf is the person who disappeared in their town a few days ago!"

"Missing persons in their town?"

After hearing this, the sheriff's expression gradually became serious.

Although he is a good-for-nothing, since he has become the police chief of a city, he is naturally a smart guy and naturally understands the meaning of this sentence.

These werewolves can actually take on human form!

If so, what does this mean?

Does this mean that there might be werewolves lurking among the people in various places?

Once such news is announced, I am afraid everyone will be in danger. People will doubt each other, their neighbors, their friends, and even themselves!
