Chapter 2: Feeling the other person's warmth
Seeing that the two had just met for the first time, there was an illusion that they had been in love for a long time. Ali couldn't help but pinch his arm to come back to his senses from the sticky gaze between the two.
"Jingzhe?" A Lie called out tentatively. Seeing that he still didn't respond, he yelled at the top of his lungs, "Xu! Jing! Zhe!"
Xu Jingzhe came back to his senses and rubbed his ears in annoyance: "Why are you shouting so loudly? You're almost deafening my ears."
Ali coughed heavily a few times, raised his hand and pointed at Yu Qingan, introducing: "This is the member of the Scorpion Tail Organization we 'invited'. She is also the team leader in charge of the mission. Her name is..."
The voice stopped abruptly. Ali had been chatting with Yu Qingmeng for a long time, but he had not asked her name yet.
He scratched his head awkwardly and looked at Yu Qingmeng apologetically: "Miss Captain, what's your name?"
Yu Qingmeng pinched the hem of her skirt, and the tears in her eyes suddenly fell, making her look very pitiful. There was panic in her eyes, and her pupils trembled slightly.
"Yu...Yu Qingmeng," she answered with a trembling voice.
A big hand suddenly pushed towards Ali.
Xu Jingzhe crossed his arms over his chest, frowning, his eyes gleaming with an undisguised sharpness. His voice was cold, as if he was about to fight in the next second: "You scared her!"
"Ah?" Ali didn't care about Xu Jingzhe's recklessness. After all, he had already gotten used to it after all these years of being together.
The Shepherd Organization is not like the Scorpion Tail Organization, which has a thick stack of rules from top to bottom. They are brothers who have risked their lives for each other, so it would be a bit unreasonable if they still made rules to suppress others.
"Meng...Miss Yu, don't be afraid, I have already taught him a lesson for you." Xu Jingzhe turned and looked at her, his eyes falling on Yu Qingmeng without any hesitation.
Yu Qingmeng released her hand that was pinching the hem of her skirt. She suppressed the throbbing in her heart and replied in a trembling voice, "No...it's okay. Mr. Alie didn't scare me. I was just too timid."
Ali looked at Xu Jingzhe, then at Yu Qingmeng, and suddenly felt that he was the redundant one.
He simply turned around and ignored the two of them, and quickly ordered his men to take the three women in the corner into different interrogation rooms.
After "Miss Captain" finished giving the order, A Lie turned to look at Yu Qingmeng and said, "Before you contact the boss of the Scorpion Tail Organization, we still need to interrogate you. This is also the only rule of our Shepherds."
"Don't worry, Miss Captain. The interrogation is just an ordinary conversation. We can simply talk about your level in the organization and your daily life." After saying that, Ali prepared to interrogate Yu Qingmeng personally.

Xu Jingzhe stretched out his hand towards her, motioning Yu Qingmeng to follow him.

Yu Qingmeng's body seemed to be out of control. She inexplicably wanted to have some physical contact with the man in front of her. She put her hand on Xu Jingzhe's hand, feeling the warmth from his palm.
"Come with me." Xu Jingzhe gently pulled her, as if deliberately slowing down his pace.
Outside the thick iron door was a corridor with no windows but only doors, and there were long-dried bloodstains on the corridor. As soon as he set foot here, Yu Qingmeng keenly noticed that someone was being subjected to extremely rude interrogation in the room not far away.
A scream rang out, echoing in the long corridor.
Yu Qingmeng was startled and without time to think, she threw herself into Xu Jingzhe's arms, seeking temporary shelter.
She was not actually afraid. She had heard screams a hundred times more miserable than this from the people of higher classes. It was just that this allowed her to have more physical contact with Xu Jingzhe.
Feeling a pair of gentle hands gently caressing his back, Xu Jingzhe's heart beat fast and his body trembled slightly.
Because Xu Jingzhe's collar was very low, Yu Qingmeng took advantage of his fear and gently brushed her lips against his collarbone and buried them in his strong chest.
She didn't know if it was because Xu Jingzhe's chest was burning hot or because her cheeks were red from the heat, but she just felt that this embrace was very warm, and the closer she got, the more she couldn't help but want more.
The two stood in the empty corridor and hugged each other for a long time. Even after the screams stopped echoing, they had no intention of leaving each other's arms.
"Click." There was a sound of the doorknob turning and the door opening.
Ali walked out from behind the door and saw the two of them hugging each other. He quickly covered his face and shouted in a low voice: "Damn! What kind of luck did I have today? I ran into them again!"
He wished he could lose his eyes so that he wouldn't feel sad when he couldn't see them.
Ali's sudden appearance forced the two to separate. Feeling the remaining body temperature of the other gradually disappear from their bodies, the expressions on their faces instantly became ugly.
Xu Jingzhe had a cold face, glanced at A Lie, and explained in a hoarse voice: "Miss Yu is scared, this is just normal comfort, you don't understand"
"Okay, okay, you understand!" Ali left angrily again.
The atmosphere became quiet again. Xu Jingzhe looked at her, his Adam's apple rolling slightly. After a long while, he whispered, "If you are still scared, I... don't mind carrying you to the interrogation room."
Yu Qingmeng wanted to agree, but thinking that it was not a good idea, she shook her head and refused.
She gently took Xu Jingzhe's hand and replied softly: "That's good."
The place where they were originally detained was not far from the interrogation room, both on the underground floor, but the two of them walked hand in hand for a long time before reaching the interrogation room.
The interrogation room was very cold, as if it was naturally air-conditioned.
Xu Jingzhe pulled out a chair for Yu Qingmeng and asked her to sit down, while he sat opposite Yu Qingmeng.
He took out a sheet of questions from the drawer and placed it on the table. He looked up at Yu Qingmeng and began to ask: "Name?"

After answering all the questions, Xu Jingzhe put the papers back into the drawer. He rolled up his sleeves and suddenly stood up by supporting himself on the table.
The neckline is drooping, revealing the spring scenery.
Xu Jingzhe just looked at her with an oppressive attitude, but did not say a word from beginning to end.
After a long moment, he leaned over and slowly approached Yu Qing'an's face. When they were only an inch apart, he stopped and asked in a low voice, "Are the answers to the above questions true?"
Yu Qingmeng swallowed her saliva and nodded quickly, "It's true..."
His gaze slowly moved from Yu Qingmeng's eyes to her lips. Xu Jingzhe leaned over again and whispered in her ear, "Why are you hesitating?"
"No...no, you...you were too close to me, I...I was nervous." Yu Qingmeng pinched the hem of his clothes and looked at his red ears.
She could touch him if she leaned forward a little, but Yu Qingmeng suppressed the desire in her heart. She looked at him, hoping that he would come closer, closer...
Xu Jingzhe's laughter was very light, floating past his ears like a feather, making Yu Qingmeng's heart even more restless.
"The interrogation is over." He slowly pulled away and sat back in his seat with a carefree smile on his face. "But the interrogation time is one hour. Miss Yu, please sit here with me for a while."
Yu Qingmeng nodded slightly to show her understanding.
She slowly lowered her head, suppressing her violent heartbeat, fearing that she would pounce on him uncontrollably.
