Chapter 38: Being targeted by two groups
Hearing Xu Jingzhe's words, Yu Qingmeng couldn't help laughing out loud.
There was a joyful atmosphere all around until a sharp arrow stabbed towards her. Yu Qingmeng put away her smile and unconsciously increased the strength of her grip on Xu Jingzhe's hand.
From all directions, in the light and in the dark, it seemed as if countless pairs of eyes were looking at them. Some of these eyes seemed gentle, while others seemed to be filled with strong hostility.
Apart from the four of them, no one else knew about this outing, not even Yu Ze.
Yu Qingmeng did not alert the enemy. She pretended nothing had happened and affectionately took Xu Jingzhe's arm. The two walked side by side, showing great affection.
A "click" sound came from behind.
She glanced sideways but didn't see anyone suspicious behind her. She didn't know if it was because she was too busy recently and had hallucinations, but she always felt that something bad would happen in the next second.
The four of them got up early and hadn't had breakfast yet, so they found a restaurant near the horror house and sat down.
Soon the exquisite dishes were brought to the table. Ayin picked up the chopsticks, picked up the dish and put it to Li Beichuan's mouth.
"Brother Wu, come and eat," Ayin called out with a smile.

Xu Jingzhe stopped what he was doing, turned his head slightly to observe for a moment, and asked, "You noticed it too? Do you know who the other person is?"
"I don't know," Li Beichuan replied, and brought a glass of juice to Ayin. He gently stroked her back and said softly, "Eat slowly. I won't snatch it from you."
Ah Yin snorted, pouting slightly, and took the juice from Li Beichuan, muttering softly, "Awu is being mean to me again!"
"No..." Li Beichuan sighed and spoke softly, "I'm afraid you'll choke if you eat too fast."
The sounds of Li Beichuan and Ayin's quarreling were heard in her ears. Yu Qingmeng sat at the dining table for a long time without picking up her chopsticks. She tilted her head and glanced around.
"What's wrong with Mengbao?" Xu Jingzhe suddenly put his hand on her shoulder.
Yu Qingmeng came back to her senses and shook her head gently: "I feel..."
Just as Yu Qingmeng was about to express her guess, she suddenly remembered her identity and changed her words: "It's okay, I just feel a little uncomfortable, it will be fine after a while."
After the meal, everyone did not get up immediately to go to the horror house, but sat at the dining table, frowning and looking around.
"We're surrounded," Li Beichuan said coldly, "I didn't tell anyone about this trip. How did they know?"
Xu Jingzhe shook his head and whispered, "Could it be that the superior person I met before accidentally saw us?"
Li Beichuan hugged A Yin into his arms and replied coldly: "All the noble people who have seen me are dead."
The restaurant fell into silence. Suddenly, Ayin moved in Li Beichuan's arms. She stuck her head out and looked at him with blinking eyes: "Brother Wu, Ayin wants to eat ice cream."
"Okay, I'll buy it for Ayin later." Li Beichuan touched Ayin's head and whispered to Xu Jingzhe beside him, "I'll go out and check later, you protect them both."
"Are you okay alone?" Xu Jingzhe asked.
"The people following us aren't strong, otherwise we wouldn't have been discovered so quickly. There's hostility in their eyes, and I think they're looking for trouble." Li Beichuan sighed, gritted his teeth and whispered, "Maybe it's because of A Yin."
Because of Ayin?
Xu Jingzhe looked at Ayin with some curiosity. She was leaning in Li Beichuan's arms and licking the lollipop in her hand.
Seeing Xu Jingzhe looking at him, Ayin said "Hmm?" in confusion, and took out an identical candy from the bear bag and handed it to him: "Uncle, have some candy."

Xu Jingzhe pulled the corner of his mouth, his face looked a little ugly, he waved his hand to refuse: "No, you can keep it for yourself."
After saying that, he touched his face and looked at Li Beichuan, whose skin was tight, with curiosity flashing in his eyes.
Am I that old? Xu Jingzhe roared in his heart, hugged Yu Qingmeng with his backhand, leaned his head on her shoulder, and complained in a low voice: "Mengbao, am I too old and am I being disliked?"

Xu Jingzhe blinked his eyes, looked at Yu Qingmeng pitifully, and muttered, "Mengbao, am I good-looking?"

It seemed like something was broken, and a "click" sound was heard not far away.
With a vague guess in her mind, Yu Qingmeng suddenly put her arms around Xu Jingzhe's neck and kissed him on the lips.
In a trance, Yu Qingmeng heard the man's angry curses and orders for his men to take action.
Before the men following the man could make a move, another group of people rushed in.
They had guns and bombs in their hands and smiles on their faces.
"You two little sisters are very pretty. Come with your brother?" The leader played with the gun in his hand, with a greedy smile on his face.
These people are not strong. They should be sent by another group to lure away Li Beichuan and Xu Jingzhe.
Yu Qingmeng gently pushed Xu Jingzhe and said softly, "Go ahead. Be careful. I will take Ayin to a safe place."
Li Beichuan and Xu Jingzhe looked at each other and nodded, then stood up and walked to the group of people.
Before they could do anything, the group ran away.
After Li Beichuan asked Xu Jingzhe to stay and protect them, he chased after them.
Unexpectedly, another group of people came. They were also holding guns and ammunition, and their facial expressions and movements were exactly the same as the previous person.
This time, Xu Jingzhe was also led out, and for a moment, only Yu Qingmeng and Ayin were left in the restaurant.
Yu Qingmeng gently patted Ayin's shoulder and whispered to her comfortingly: "Don't be afraid, they will be back soon."
With tears in her eyes, A Yin looked at Yu Qingmeng and asked in a low voice: "Sister, is Brother Wu okay? Can you take me to find Brother Wu?"
"Ayin, don't be afraid. If we go looking for them now, it will only cause trouble..." Footsteps were heard not far away. Yu Qingmeng turned around and hid Ayin under the table. When she stood up, the man just walked into the restaurant.
It was Ali. He was shirtless and had a string of bells tied around his ankles. The bells made crisp sounds when he walked.
"I didn't expect that Li Beichuan and Xu Jingzhe are so stupid that they can easily abandon two beauties to chase after others." Ali put one hand on his waist and looked charming.
Seeing Ali like this, Yu Qingmeng suddenly felt that her eyes were insulted.
Although it was just her and Ayin here now, she still wanted to carry out her disguised persona to the end and find out what Alie was going to do.
Yu Qingmeng's eyes sparkled with tears in the blink of an eye. Tears streamed down her cheeks. She looked at A Lie with a pitiful expression: "Brother A Lie, have I offended you in some way?"
