"Are you ready? Is there any problem boarding the cruise ship now?" Yun Suiwan continued to ask.
“Young Miss, everything is ready,” Xiao Wu replied.
"Let's go." Yun Suiwan stood up and walked out of the hotel.
“Young Miss,” Da Wen walked in, “I just received news that there will be a heavy rainstorm at sea in three hours. For safety’s sake, let’s set off tomorrow morning.”
Yun Suiwan agreed without much thought. The storm she encountered last time was an unforgettable experience for her.
She was worried about Lei Bo's condition, but since she was staying anyway, she went downstairs to Lei Bo's room.
However, there was no one in the room.
"Where's Lei Bo?" she asked a waiter who was passing by.
"I didn't see him in the room just now," the waiter replied. "Was he taken to the hospital by the landlady?"
After finding out the hospital's address, Yun Suiwan took Da Wen and headed to the hospital.
As the car drove past the roadside corner, Da Wen suddenly turned his head and glanced at the street corner.
Yun Suiwan turned her head casually and immediately caught sight of a familiar figure.
Lu Dongjue.
And there's Rebo.
The two walked into the building together, and Lei Bo didn't look sick at all.
"Da Wen, stop the car." The car stopped, and Yun Suiwan immediately chased after him into the building.
This is a shopping mall on the island. Because the prices are affordable, it's quite popular.
But Lu Dongjue and Lei Bo were nowhere to be seen.
She went up to the second floor in confusion and searched the corridor, but still couldn't find anyone.
"Are you looking for me?" A familiar voice came from behind.
She turned around and saw Lu Dongjue's figure.
Her heart skipped a beat, but she suppressed it and asked coldly, "Where is Lei Bo?"
"I'm leaving," Lu Dongjue replied.
Yun Suiwan frowned slightly, "Isn't he feeling unwell? Why did you invite him here..."
As she spoke, she suddenly realized, "Did you instruct Reibo to do this?"
How could someone have such skill as to cure an illness in one move?
She should have realized it sooner.
A hint of delight appeared in Lu Dongjue's eyes. Had she finally discovered his good intentions?
But she gave a cold smile, "Young Master Lu really went to great lengths to please his fiancée, and the whole drama he arranged was quite well done."
Lu Dongjue's expression stiffened slightly. "What do you mean?"
"Do I need to spell it out?" Yun Suiwan raised her eyebrows. "You made Lei Bo act, forced Lei Bo's mother to tell the truth, and then silenced Sister Li. Wasn't all of this just to clear Gu Fanyan of any wrongdoing?"
Lu Dongjue's expression turned somewhat unpleasant. "Is that what you're thinking..."
"Then what should I think?" Yun Suiwan countered. "You know very well who's behind Sister Li, so why won't you let me expose her?"
"Young Master Lu, I can let her go this time, but please tell her not to act shamelessly again. I will not tolerate her anymore!"
"Oh, you want to go against me? Do you think you can win?" Lu Dongjue asked.
"Even if I can't win, I won't let you benefit from it," Yun Suiwan replied coldly, then turned and left.
Lu Dongjue was so angry he wanted to laugh.
Can't she tell that he was just saying things out of anger?
"Fine, then I'll wait and see if you mess with me." With that, he punched the glass next to him with a loud bang.
This is the shop window glass, several meters thick, but even this punch made the glass make a "buzzing" sound.
Yun Suiwan was stunned for a moment, then turned around and immediately saw his swollen and purple fist.

"For her, I must do this for her. Why should I force Rebo's mother to tell the truth that she slandered you?" he questioned.
"You...you didn't do this to clear Gu Fanyan's name so I wouldn't hold a grudge against her?"
"If I want to clear her name, I might as well get rid of Sister Li so you can't find her," he retorted.
"So, you know that Gu Fanyan bribed Sister Li, but you stopped me from exposing her!"
"I just want to know why?"
"Why?"
"Go ahead and say it?"
She looked into the depths of his heart, determined to get the answer.
Lu Dongjue let out a soft breath. He couldn't resist her insistence. "I need leverage," he replied.
"What weights?" she asked, confused.
"The leverage to dissolve the engagement," he said.
She was taken aback.
Yes, the marriage between the Gu and Lu families is already common knowledge within the industry.
Dissolving their engagement is not something that can be done with a single word.
"Why...why did you break off the engagement with him..." she stammered.
Looking at her dazed and bewildered expression, Lu Dongjue's lips curled up involuntarily, his eyes filled with a doting affection he himself didn't even realize...
“Sigh,” he sighed deliberately, “how could some people ask such a stupid question.”
Yun Suiwan's gaze shifted slightly. A silly question? Certain people? What do you mean?
Just then, Lu Dongjue's phone rang.
He took it out, glanced at it, and immediately pressed the call button.
Yun Suiwan turned around.
She just saw it; the caller ID showed "Gu Fanyan".
Lu Dongjue hung up the phone and looked up to talk to her, but the phone rang again.
It was still Gu Fanyan.
Yun Suiwan turned and glanced at him, her eyes filled with doubt.
Lu Dongjue pursed his lips tightly. He simply grabbed Yun Suiwan's shoulder and answered the phone in front of her, pressing the speakerphone button.
"Dongjue," came Gu Fanyan's soft voice from the phone, "come to my room now."
Yun Suiwan stared at him with her beautiful eyes as bright as a 200-watt light bulb.
Lu Dongjue's voice turned cold: "I don't have time."
“My mother is here,” Gu Fanyan replied softly. “No matter what we say about our situation, we still need to give our elders an explanation.”
“There’s no need,” Lu Dongjue replied.
Yun Suiwan's eyes flickered slightly; she could see that he was hesitant.
"Dongjue, why did we end up like this..." Gu Fanyan sighed softly, "I really miss the time when you had amnesia..."
Lu Dongjue's eyes darkened, and the words he wanted to say remained unspoken.
Yun Suiwan continued to stare at him without saying a word.
Let's see if he can see through Gu Fanyan's typical "green tea" behavior.
He looked at her, his eyes surprisingly pleading.
Was he begging her to let him pass?
